Before anyone calls the police (!), this is a serious question about the unintentional effects pheros may have on kids, most notably one’s own children…
Lord knows it’s tricky enough being a parent and establishing the ‘right’ relationship with a child. It’s also hard enough being a kid without mixed messages from parents in a world which is difficult to understand.
So my question is this - as I am likely to be unable to keep pheros out of home (and have actively introduced them into the home!) can anyone perceive a risk?
Your own kids love you and trust you, so they wont react badly to pheromones. When your wearing a masculine pheromone like A314 or AMMO they may be more mindful of your authority and there is a possibility if you wear to much Androstenone like Raw power or Turn Up The Heat they will react like anyone else and get cranky and nervous but other then that they will be fine. Remember there threshold for Androstenone products may be alot less then the average adult so you can limit your use of the heavy masculines around them.
Other children are going to react the same way they would react to any Alpha stranger, They could get scared and shy away from you so I would avoid wearing it around them.
Kids seem to react very well to anols and Instant Shine and most of the Tseries.
Funny thing is I find when I wear some of the Tseries and est little kids tend to cling to me.
My own kids are no longer kids LOL My oldest uses pheromones and my 14 year old reacts very well around all of them so far.
I have not notied any problems around my kids and aai was very cautious with my use around them when i first started based on what Tisha said above which, by the way, has been consistant since I have been here.
I have noticed that sometimes they are more “cuddly” when I wear Instant Gentleman.
I’ve been doing a bit of reading on this and it seems that lab tests indicate that the onset of puberty in the female is advanced by elevated exposure to a male urinary pheromone!
Whether this applies or to what extent to humans will be interesting. Currently I only have to worry about my daughter’s hamster going out, getting drunk and coming home pregnant before her time.
Interestingly the study also tested whether cocaine could modify the juvenile female’s response to this pheromone. Cocaine, it appears may reduce an animals’ reproductive fitness by isolating it from its social environment. At higher doses, cocaine can delay body growth, as well as the onset of puberty.
Been there - in front of the Magistrate on Tuesday (!) [joking]
Yes - as so many of the effects of pheromones are by design sexual, one would expect them to go largely ignored by pre-pubescent children (thankfully!) Some effects are however, non-sexual and in personal experience good ones so I’m not bothered about these either - it may even be a good thing (bonding, relaxation etc…) I guess the only question mark I have is how exposure to increased levels of pheromones might affect a child’s development, either physically or psychologically. Too early to tell?
Read it. Me too.
A poke in the eye leaves no visible bruising
This all seems healthy fun but it does support the theory that pheromones do actually affect kids?
I was going to start this as a new thread - how do pheromones visibly affect household pets? Likely to be another ‘mac’ scorcher of a thread. I was wondering whether pheros caused any problems, particularly with the female dog [didn’t feel I could use the word bitch here without confusion]
That sounds like the episode of House, where the guy was using the male enhancement cream and his kids started going through early puberty. (Episode 65, “Act Your Age” [Precocious puberty due to externally applied testosterone])
I don’t think the concentration of Pheromones in spray form would make a direct effect on their physical development. Especially if they are not around you 100% of the time when you are wearing the synthetic pheromones and you are not applying the pheromones to them. (Like firearms and sharp knives, keep them in a safe place not readily available to the kids)
Physiologically anything is possible.
humm, never thought of that one.
the interesting thing was she was always wanting me, not any of her uncles or grandfather, nieces, nephews, or cousins. (before that weekend she had not seen me, and had met spent time with most of the rest of the family, yet she was always by my side most of the weekend)
