Just a quick question to see if anyone knows who being in a smokey (cigarette smoke) envirnoment changes the effectiveness of pheromone products.
Most of the places that I spend my time socially (Nightclubs and bars) have no smoking restrictions, the smell of smoke is so strong that I no longer bother to wear cologne when I go out, since the scent is instantly overpowered and remains so after I have left the club due to the lingering smoke smell on my clothes and hair.
Now obviously traditional scents and colognes are ineffective in this environment, my question is whether pheromones are effected in the same way since I understand they are not conciously smelt and maybe detected by a different part of the nose to cigarette smoke.
They work but you will have to use a somewhat higher dose. Too high a dose and (beyond aversive reactions to androstenone) you will find people have trouble identifying the 'mone cloud with you and others will ‘steal’ your hits.
Ive got a question along the lines of Gem’s…how long do pheremones last before requiring another application… and if I spray my hair with pheremones ,but don’t wash it everyday, do I need to reapply or is that overkill!!!
The killer product you don’t want to reapply is anything heavy in androstenone. None is notoriously sticky and not that easy to wash off using a sink with soap and water, even if you rub hard. Fortunately, it’s not something that is an important part of the womens’ products so that shouldn’t be a concern for you.
For the others, I think that depends on the 'mone. I don’t think you need to reapply copulins. Shine and androstenol (think Openness/Honesty products) probably could do with a refresh after maybe 4 hours. Instant Sexiness, TAL, TAH - unknown to me. The consequences of refreshing with all of these when you don’t need to is unlikely to be all that bad so a bit of trial and error may be helpful. (Guess it will depend on your environment - ambient temperature, air conditioning etc).
Hair… I’m not sure. I would experiment with applying the same dose every day and seeing what results you get… Some of the other lady 'mone users might be able to help with that.
