Pheros in my hair gel!!

Okay, so every morning after I towel dry my hair, I squirt a splootch of sea kelp gel in my hand with a drop of leave-in conditioner, rub my hands together and rub it and comb it into my hair, which is fine and around shoulder length.

Last week I had this brilliant thought - what if I added pheros to it? So, for most of this week, I added about 2 to 3 sprays of 4x Instant Shine to my sea kelp/conditioner mix (before going to work), just to see what would happen. All I can say is, WOW!!

My other pheros stayed the same, a drop or two (or whatever comes out of the damn bottle, lol) of A314, and a few swipes of (a product) from (a company other than Androtics). Normally my mood is confident and chipper, people react positively to my A314/other product mix, general good mood/respect, etc.

The days I used the Instant Shine 4x, I was practically SHINING, and so was everyone I came into contact with. Broad smiles, happiness and love everywhere I went.

One patient asked me my shoe size, wanting to get me a pair like her sandals that I happened to compliment her on, next time she went back to the Philippines. Another patient gave me a loaf of bread, lol.

In our little grocery store, I was at the checkout and had forgotten my bank card. Instead of having to just leave the store without my groceries, they insisted that I “charge it”, and that I could pay it later next time I came in, a practically unheard of thing in this day and age, especially with someone fairly new to the community (4.5 years).

Today I decided to try Instant Honesty 4x (same other products), still got lots of wide grins and happy people, but didn’t notice any significant difference from the Instant Shine 4x. I think I’ll use the IH 4x for a few more days at least, to give it the same length of exposure as the IS 4x.

Oh, and one other day this week, I used a few squirts of (other product) instead of the IS or IH, but the results were not nearly as dramatic.

Only problem with this is that the stickiness of the gel definitely has to inhibit the pheromones from diffusing since they’re mixed in with a glob of gel. Not saying it’s not possible, just kind of iffy like that Androstadienone hair gel by Got2B. It just seems like it’ll be impossible for the pheromones to become airborne because of the sticky nature of the gel keeping the pheromones in place. Now mixed in with lotion is kind of possible of being an OK idea because the lotion evaporates eventually.

I don’t know about that other hair gel, but this definitely made a difference in my phero effects and reactions.

Maybe because it was 100% natural sea kelp, not quite gel, slightly more liquidy, but not liquidy enough to run off my hand? Its not sticky at all, I don’t feel like I have to wash my hand, I just incorporate it into my facial stuff next, since the sea kelp is awesome for everything.

Plus I used like 2 or 3 sprays of 4x.

I am mixing hair gel with pheros some times with great results.

But i use Loreal series thats i am unable to find in the US :frowning:
they are offered to exclusively at the hair stylist.
The hair gel is from 2 compounds the one with the fixation and the one with the gloss and fragrance. Mixed with pheromones i get pretty cool diffusion.

Before that i used the playball series with great results.

You can check the scents and the fixations here:
L’Oral Professionnel play ball

i will try to find out pictures of the current product i am using

What pheros have you used?

btw, your baby is beautiful!

thanx Kitty

Mostly:
IO, IH, IG and Shine

i tried a314 too.. but its a waste of product you have to use 4-5 drops to get a good diffusion.

Chemically most hair gel holds onto the pheromones so they do not diffuse. No diffusion just means people have to be standing right up in your hair for it to work.

A fixative is designed to to hold in moisture while blocking out humidity and keep you hair in a “fixed” position. It holds onto the pheromones.

Leave in conditioner holds in the misture and weighs down the hair and the pheromone molecules

Sea Kelp is light and should be fine.

I am not saying not to do it because Hey they are your pheromones but if your going for maximum diffusion I would not.

Oh I forgot to mention that the products here are in alcohol which your locking in to the hair shaft with the mositure and pheromones and that will damage the shaft pretty quickly

Yeah, I don’t really know personally but it’d be cool if it were to work! If it works for you that’s nice!

I know it would be cool. I have researched and tested adding pheromones to tons of different products. Soap candles lotions lipgloss solid perfumes and hair products.

Candles dont work well for the same reason hair gel doesn’t. They fix the molecules in the wax. Sure you can smell the scent of the wax but its not the scent that causes the reaction its the molecules entering the brain.

Same with solid perfumes the bee’s wax fixes the molecules into the wax.

Lotion is just heavy and slows things down so depending on what your leave in conditioner is designed to do you can get some diffusion because most leave in conditioners are lotion based with no fixative.

Sea kelp I have never used myself but I know its muscularly light. I think pheromones may work well in this as long as its 100% natural like SK is using. I dont know if sea kelp has natural fixative qualities though. I dont think so.

Yeah, who knows. What I like to do when I style my hair with gunk and want to use something social on my hair is just wait for it to dry completely. The thought that it could still get stuck to the product used on your hair is still there, but I doubt the light mist from a spray is wet enough to reactivate the gel in its sticky form. So who knows, but that’s what I do since I style my hair a lot and like to spray my hair with Alphanol most of the time.

Hm, what about if someone were to style their hair with an oil substance like baby oil for example? Well, not style since you can’t really style hair with that but use it as a brilliantine? Would mixing some pheromones on your hair along with the oil ruin diffusion or will it just slow it down like on skin and the way it does with lotion?

Baby oil would just slow it down like any other oil based mone.

I dont know how good it would look in your hair though it may make it look to oily.

I believe the sea kelp is water based. Its great because it doesn’t cause “product build-up”, and honestly, I can’t stand putting that chemically gunk in my hair, I hate hair spray too, it all just smells so wrong. Plus my hair is super fine and I need to take good care of it so it doesn’t break, etc., and since I’ve been using sea kelp, my hair has been healthier than ever. It gives it more body and just enough control, since my hair tends to be “fly-away” and has a mind of its own, lol.

Google “NCN sea kelp” if you’re interested, the proprietor (proprietress?) Nanci is super nice and helpful. (oh, and Tisha, they have got the best liquid mineral foundation, with DMAE in it, much more affordable than those expensive kinds, and a million times better - and all natural of course!).

I thought of doing candles myself, I make 100% natural soy candles, the wax is very different from that petroleum-based paraffin that is traditionally used. Though I have no idea how much phero product to use in them.
