I don’t believe DHEA is a pheromone, but it is a precursor for several androgen hormones in the body (androstenediol, androstendione, testosterone, estrone, and estradiol). It is also produced in the brain where it also acts as a neurosteroid.
It can absorb through the skin, somewhat.
Why would they have you apply something under your nose and then tell you not to breathe? Odd.
- This is relying on absorption if they expect it to take up to 2 weeks to be effective, i.e., not pheromonal.
Tisha, if you are considering supplementing with DHEA be careful. It can cause serious heart arrythmias and palpitations. It also causes acne - not dangerous, but a nasty side effect. It also causes menstrual irregularities, facial hair growth, deepened voice, increased risk of ovarian and breast cancer, as well as irritability and restlessness.
Supplementing with 5 mg or less a day, occassionally should be all right, but more than that and use every day is not a good idea.

I think it is akin to, as with our Androtics pheros, not inhaling them immediately, but allowing them, as “wet pheromones”, to settle so they can do their thing properly.
I need to find the exact instructions, but that is the gist of that part of them, to not sniff them up when you apply it.
Also, if anyone wants to check it out, I can send some. Its a tiny vial, but its 3/4 full and lasts forever, because dosage is just a dab.
