Wondering how many people here have had that experience where they get one of those really penetrating looks. I’m talking about the kind that’s so intense you can feel them looking at you from behind and its a little overwhelming.
Asking because I got my photo taken with this girl in a bunny costume at a nightclub the other night (the mascot kind of bunny, unfortunately) and after I went back over to my mates I could feel her eyes piercing into me, not sure whether it was good or bad in how she was looking but I could totally feel it. It stunned me so much I didn’t even think to look around like one usually does when they feel someone looking at them.
Has anyone else had that??? What happened to me???
Was your back turned to her? If so, it appears you’re developing ESP or have eyes in the back of your head (or rearview mirrors on your spectacles). Otherwise you should have returned the glaze and smiled. Maybe she was hot for you. Or perhaps she was lost in thought, mentally challenged, suffering DIHL/brain farts or staring at something directly behind you. Getting stared at doesn’t bother me but that may from growing up on stage and making my living as a musician. Staring seems pretty normal. What bothers me is when they stare and laugh while making rude remarks…
I get that once in a while. You get this feeling that you just know someone is looking at you, and sometimes you even have a good sense of who it is. If it’s a girl, I’ll usually I just casually turn around and meet her gaze with a knowing smile.
Depending on who it is, of course. If it isn’t someone I want any contact with then I ignore them. Although if the stare is malicious, then that might warrant a “I know what you’re up to, and you don’t want to mess with me” stare-down.
Yeah, I’m really wishing I turned around now so I could have confirmed or disproved it, but it was such a shock at the time, that sorta thing never happened much at all. Still getting used to the effects of the pheromones, not so much on myself but how different some people around me seem to react.
That goth girl in the bunny costume was pretty good lookin’ too. Haha.
