I agree with that. I’m sure some people raise eyebrows at me, too, for wearing pheros to church. But with the position I’m in, having that little extra really helps.

I’ve discovered that I can exude authority without even trying, and without being an old grump, which helps when it comes to rowdy youngsters. I do quite a bit of work with teenagers, and Instant Shine can help take the edge off of their ever-present angst; Instant Honesty is awesome for helping them be real and express themselves.

It never hurts, either, to realize that people have taken notice of you. People do better at whatever they’re doing when they feel confident and appreciated.

Application dosage and locations: IS/A, 1 spray to chest and 1 spray split between wrists. 2 sprays of MX135 to hair and neck area.

Environment tested in: church, restaurant

Self effects: It was that time of month. Products put me in an upbeat mood.

Effects to others: Was sitting next to girl I know. She left. I went to sit with a group I know. They said I smelled good. At church, I remarked how cold it was and guy next to me offered me his jacket. It was towards the end of the service though. Talked with random people afterward. One lady and I had a good conversation. Her husband came up and gave me this cool hello. But he’s always this way. At restaurant a friend gave me a huge bear hug. We had a nice lunch, full of laughter, despite my crampiness. People seemed to pay me a lot of attention whenever I contributed to the conversation, like I was about relate something totally brilliant. I talked some to guy next to me. He was a tough nut to crack, and his ex girlfriend was at the table too, so it put a damper on my flirtation attempts. I think she got a little insecure, because as soon as we were outside the restaurant, she was trying to get his attention.

Effects from mixing with other products: Mixed well with Pink Sugar. I don’t think it was overkill, and people told me I smelled nice.

Self effects: Uplifted mood

Effects to others: Nothing dramatic. People seemed very comfortable around me. I received more smiles. I had a good chat with my boss about some work problems, and she was very understanding.

Duration of effects: ~ 6 hours

Effects from mixing with other products: Used Pink Sugar to cover the copulins, but I didn’t let it dry down in enough time so I smelled the cops through the perfume. It wasn’t awful, just noticeable to me.

Self effects: None, really.

Effects to others: I’m not quite sure. The group dynamics were a little bit skewed that night because the group leader (also my former crush) brought a lady, earlier referred to as Ms. Thang, to the meeting with him. So there was a bit of unrest and readjusting with the new addition.

The results were…um…interesting. I led three songs. Group Leader was staring at me during worship. I guess because I was leading. Very annoying though. I had to look away or close my eyes.

Then we got into the study discussion. We did the same thing as last week. Lady 1 led the discussion. We broke up into pairs, read some scriptures and answered some questions.

Guy 1 (who used to date Lady 1) and I worked together. Oh, and before that, Lady 2 tried to regulate and act like the study coordinator, asking emphatically if we would be group one. I mean, her “extraness” was not needed. At. All. I wanted to roll my eyes at her. I think she was just pissed because someone else was leading the study.

Guy 1 and I sat out in the hallway for more quiet so we wouldn’t be distracted. Lady 1 come out to observe us, and I found that supremely annoying. She came and left; then she came again and parked herself in front of us for a good two to three minutes. It really irritated me. And Guy 1 and I had differing opinions on the topic and he got a little defensive. I think most of it was misinterpretation, but whatever.

So we go into the study. Guy 1 and I are group one so we did our portion first. We only got through group three because we got caught in a discussion about a controversial theological topic. Ms. Thang was all confused about the subject and wanted me to explain it because I “brought it up” (inadvertently, I might add). Almost like she was challenging me. Lady 2 and I tried to break it down for her. Then Lady 2 got upset about some verse Lady 1 had on her study handout. She tried to add that the verse after that was more pertinent, but I don’t think she made her point any clearer. I just sat there perplexed. Group Leader joked with me saying, “Thanks for bringing this up, Pirouette!” Between the missing leader feeling “anxious” about leading worship and the emotionally intense study, my head was swimming.

I wonder if the beta-nol had anything to do with the intensity of the discussion. I don’t want to wear that again anytime soon. I was hoping for more of the bonding/closeness effects I’ve read about on in this forum. But it seemed to bring out too much emotion in people, and a lot of defensiveness.

I’d say the b-nol definitely contributed to the intensity of the discussion. B-nol can be a sticky wicket. It does drive conversations to a deeper level and at the same time let’s things loose, sometimes in a direction you didn’t anticipate. What you do know is with B-nol/Instant Honesty you’ve gotta be prepared for incoming. What it brings can be good or in this case not so good because that wasn’t quite the reaction you were looking for. If you think it was inspiring defensiveness, lower the dose and see what happens. It might just be too much of a good thing. You could also try lightening it up with a spray or two of Instant Shine/TAA and you might try bringing a little P74 to the meeting, as well, to promote a more friendly group mentality. Just a suggestion.

No mistake, Ms. Thang was challenging you and tryin’ to make you look bad. Noooo, Little Ms.Thangalang dun like you, Honey. :roll_eyes: You need to shut her down and you don’t have to be a bitch about it. True alpha’s don’t have to put others down to make themselves look/feel good. How they relate to and treat others speaks for itself. :wink:

When you know you’re gonna be around her gear up! You know she can’t help herself and is gonna take shots at you…in one way or an other. Be prepared to shoot back, (as I know you are!) …in the nicest way, of course. :slight_smile: Hold you’re ground Pirouette and she’ll eventually get the message you are top feline. Hopefully with consistent exposure she’ll accept it or, at the very least, she’ll have the sense to back off and that’s really what you want.

Dr. Phil always says, “You teach people how to treat you.” Boy, is that true! A lotta people don’t like Phil but I just love the big ol’ boy. He’s dead on. She’ll keep it up until you teach her she ain’t gonna get away with it.

That’s funny. I was advised to stay away from the sexy pheros and to use the socials instead. Yeah, maybe 50mcg of beta-nol is too much. I’ll try just one spray next time with Instant Shine.

I really don’t understand why this happens, but I seem to run into this a lot at my church and with women around my age. I don’t see myself as threatening, but some women apparently do and try to “put me in my place.” They usually end up looking foolish. Oh no, I will definitely maintain :cool: when she’s around. I really just brushed off the whole thing when it was over and didn’t pay her much mind.

I didn’t expect her to be there, but I guess I need to be prepared for anything. I noticed she was not as warm towards me as she was at the pool party. Oh, I’m not intimidated by her. I know my worth, and I don’t have to be loud and obnoxious to prove myself. I find it quite funny that she may be intimidated by me!:stuck_out_tongue:

Oh, I totally agree! I think people mistake my quiet, reserved demeanor for weakness, and then they are very surprised when I open up my mouth! She’ll figure it out. :wink: I’m not after the Group Leader, but I can’t help if he’s enthralled with me on occasion.

I wanted to test out Instant Sexiness B a little more.

Product name,scent and strength: Instant Sexiness B, neroli

Application dosage and locations: Three sprays: one to wrists rubbed together, one to inner elbows rubbed together, and one to chest.

Environment tested in: Salsa dance class

Self effects: I initially didn’t really want to go to class last tonight. I just felt tired and not in the mood to be around strangers. However, after I sprayed on IS/B, my mood was lifted a bit, and I felt more enthusiastic about going to the class.

Effects to others: Not sure about this one. It’s a subtle product, much more subtle for me than IS/A or MX 1-, 2-, 335. We switched partners almost after every technique, and the men I danced with were all very cordial and pleasant, even the creepy one I don’t like partnering with. He sweats a lot! :open_mouth: In fact, he didn’t pull me as close to him this time, and I think I only danced with him once–thank goodness!

My instructor seemed to favor me again. Last week I wore 2 sprays of MX335, and just felt like I reeked, but the guys didn’t seem to mind. I think I was a bit heavy-handed with the IS/B this time, because the guys didn’t seem as giddy, talkative, or glued to me as before.

As I said, my instructor did seem to favor me this week as well. He danced with me through three songs before moving on. He even patted me on the back very heartily, like he knew me well. Another guy I danced with, who is like the social dance king, just kept looking at me, not hard staring, but a soft gaze. But it was a soft gaze that would not let up. I have to admit that it made me feel self-conscious. He’s soft spoken, but very confident and knows his stuff.

So that was it for me. Nothing that made me say, “Wow!”

This is the combo I used for Saturday and Sunday last weekend, both for Halloween parties.

I used 2.5-3 sprays of this combo Saturday night for a Halloween party. The host, also my former/current crush (depends on the day) was my main target. Really I just wanted to feel sexy and have a fun evening. Coupled with a glammed-out costume and make-up (disco diva) I had a great night. My TG was knocked out by my outfit :open_mouth: and kept taking pictures of me. Though his attention turned to the other singles group leader, a female, for a short while, it was not long before his attention turned right back to me. He kept teasing me throughout the night, and when half the people cleared out, he put on the CD of salsa music I brought, and we danced for a good ten minutes. Then he put on some bachata music he had, and we danced some more. Then he reminded me that he wanted to go swing dancing the following Saturday. :stuck_out_tongue:

The next evening, I went to a Halloween dance party, and had a blast. I used three sprays of my combo. I had on the same costume and make-up. Even to myself, I looked pretty amazing, so I wonder if the hits I got were more due to my appearance rather than the pheros. I helped set up for the dance in my regular attire with a little bit of Instant Honesty on. But my hits weren’t that dramatic. This one cute guy I was kind of digging ignored me, these two older women were nice, but were teasing me, and this other older woman I had befriended acted like she didn’t want to chat.

In contrast, after I got dressed for the dance and applied about three sprays of my combo, the evening completely flipped. First of all, everyone, male and female loved my costume. During the swing dance lesson, this older man wanted to be my partner, so we danced a little bit before rotating partners. I’ll call him The Cuban. Well, when the actual dancing began, he was practically glued to me all evening!:open_mouth: It was very flattering, but a bit annoying as well. He complimented me profusely, wanted to dance almost every dance with me, offered to get me water, napkins, took my napkin I used to wipe the sweat off my face, etc. He went on to tell me about his former marriage, kids, how beautiful and sexy I was, and how he wanted to see me again. He even offered to pick me up and drive me to another city to go salsa dancing. I’m surprised he didn’t ask me to marry him right then and there, he was so intense! He told me he wanted me to be his dance partner for competitions. I’m like :open_mouth:. I gave him my number, but told him “no cell phone stalking.” When the evening was over, he walked me to my car, gave me a peck on both cheeks, and told me to text him when I had arrived home safely. Whew! He had since texted my three times telling me I was very beautiful and once he saw me he knew he wanted to dance with me all night. He also reiterated that he wanted to see me again. He texted the next day to say hello and ask me how my day was.

There was another man who was taken with me that evening as well, but he was not nearly as aggressive as The Cuban. We danced together twice. He was always slightly off beat, and he had the wide grin plastered all over his face. It was comical!:smiley: He tried to talk to me too while I was sitting down. He actually was on one knee while talking to me so we could be at eye level, all up in my grill and everything.

It was a great night. I definitely got my party on, which is what I wanted. I got a lot of dancing in, and a good bit of attention as well, some of it quite over the top.

MX340 Testing

I’ve been playing around with MX340 lately. I like the fragrance, as it reminds me of Michael Storer 's Genvieve , only a little sweeter.

Environment tested in: Dance hall

Self effects: None that I could discern

Effects to others: At the last minute, I decided to go salsa dancing. I wanted to see one particular guy who wanted to go out with me. I arrived late but, did manage to get three good dances in. The first dance was with Mr. K. Actually, when I saw him, we spent a good few minutes just chatting. We have mutual acquaintances, so we had something to chat about. We did end up dancing and we were talking while we were dancing. However, he kept giving me the same turn, so I asked him if he knew any other turn patterns. He smiled/chuckled, said yeah, and switched it up some. Good thing, because I was about to write him off as being a nice guy but a crappy leader. When we finished, he asked if I was going to stay for the swing dance. I said maybe. He looked like he wanted to ask me something else, but I got swept up by Mr. R., the one who wants to take me out sometime.

The second dance was with the aforementioned fellow, Mr. R. He kept commenting on what a good dancer I am and that I’m “so easy to dance with.” That was nice to hear. I gave him my number and sat down for a bit. Then we danced again. After the salsa was over, he left, but I had decided to stay for the swing.

Another guy I’ve had my eye on, a blond cutie who’s a bit young for me, but I’d definitely hang out with him, came over to talk to me. This was unusual, because even though we’ve danced together before in salsa class, we’ve never danced together at an actual social. In fact, I thought he didn’t like me or something. And truthfully, I love dancing with him because he is such a smooth leader. I call him the Salsa King, because he’s always dancing and always in control. Anyway, he came over to me as the salsa dancing was ending. He wanted to say hi and good-bye. We chatted for a good bit, but the tone of the chat was like I was talking to my best friend. There was a great rapport between us. I would surmise this is because MX340 is based off of Instant Honest 4X. I asked him about his health (he wasn’t feeling good the last time I saw him) and various other things. He’s never been this into me before, so his openness and increased trust surprised me. I joked with him asking when I’ll get a salsa with him, and he replied he tried to make his way over to me, but every time he did, I was taken.

Guy responds best to socials?

There is this guy I met while taking salsa dance lessons who I like. We have been steadily developing a rapport, but tonight I am totally perplexed by his behavior.

Let me start from the beginning. I’ve worn pheros around him before in dance class, primarily IS/A, IS/B, and MX274. I noticed when I wore IS/A, he seemed to apologize to me a lot if we messed up a dance step, and a little less sure. When I wore IS/B around him, he seemed totally sure of himself and much more dominant. MX274, I really didn’t see much of a response from him.

In November, one day I arrived late to the Latin dance social wearing MX340, which is based off of Instant Honesty 4x. The account is in the previous post.

It was so out of the blue for him to just come up and start talking to me, so I guess he must have caught a whiff of the MX340 while I was dancing and wanted to check me out before he left.

Another Sunday, he finally asked me to dance. It was awesome. I regret that I don’t remember what phero I wore.

Last Sunday, I danced with him twice while wearing Come Talk To Me and seven drops of copulins. I wanted to mimick Lust After Me , which is no longer available. I know LAM had mostly a -nol , but I wanted to copulins with the combination of a- and b -nol found in CTTM . Well, with Pink Sugar, the results were stellar. Not just with him, but with other guys. It seemed as if they just wanted to hold conversations with me rather than dance while on the floor. With my TG, he was very talkative and very focused on me. In fact he told me that he loved the fact that I smelled like baked goods. This made me chuckle. He said I had a “warm” scent that he was sure every man I danced with found “enticing” (including him, I hope!). After we finished dancing he commented that he wished the song had been longer (we started mid-song).

Fast foward to today, I helped set up for a New Year’s Eve dance. He, of course was there. I had on Instant Shine 1x and some Pink Sugar on top. He arrived later than me and did not acknowledge me until some time later. He saw me and said hi. I have to add, I looked a right mess: ratty jeans, a sweater, and a hat to cover up my disheveled hair. We chatted a for a minute or so. I asked him if he was excited about the party, and he indicated that he was. When my time was up for helping at the set-up, I kind of slipped out quietly. However, as I was leaving, he shouted and waved “good-bye” to me. I waved good-bye wondering if he thought I wasn’t going to return for the party later. I don’t know if he noticed I was gone and followed me out or if was just a coincidence.

So New Year’s Eve, I was all jazzed about the party and hopefully getting a dance in with my TG. And I made sure I looked stunning. I also wore a mix I concocted a couple of months before:

(All these sprays are combined in separate spray bottle.) I wore this for a Halloween party, and got some over-the-top results from it. However, I noticed that tonight and that night at the Halloween party, my TG stayed clear of me. I have to add that I also wore 6 drops of Essence of Woman (EOW). It was all covered with Pink Sugar. I mean, I did at least talk to my TG, but he did not approach me to dance at all. In fact, I think he left the party around 11 p.m. But other men seemed to respond to me just fine that evening. Not as much as at the Halloween party, but enough. That’s what perplexes me. I wonder if the TAL in IS/A turned him off, because he responded so well to the social pheros I’ve worn around him. I single out the IS/A, because I remembered that he seemed to act nervous when I wore it but very self-assured when I wore IS/B. So maybe he’s a TAH kind of guy? I don’t know.

Maybe I’ve answered my own question, but would it be best to stick with social pheros when I interact with my TG?

I agree. I think I will stick to socials from now on. They are more versatile. I don’t think the sexy ones are any good to me unless I’m in a relationship.

Yeah, I don’t think his leaving had anything to do with me. I was just curious about his behavior, but then again I do tend to catastrophize these types of situations.:o

I’m thinking now I want to try some Instant Honesty on my TG. Maybe add some cops as well. I’ve gotten such interesting results from I/H, that I feel like I might give it another go. I’m starting to like the cops/social pheros combinations. The social pheros make people more comfortable, and the cops give a little sexy kick. We’ll see what happens…:wink:

Social Pheros Work!

Self effects:
I was feeling very apprehensive considering my last interaction with my TG. I was not sure how he was going to act when he saw me. However, after I applied the CTTM, my mood was elevated and positive.

Effects to others:
Last night went very well. My TG and I got along so well, it was magic. No awkwardness, no weird moments. Such a difference from the Group Leader I was interested in. I always felt so awkward around Group Leader, and it seemed like he felt the same no matter how much I tried to put him at ease.

I volunteered to cover the desk for the three salsa classes. I immediately noticed my TG’s haircut. It was pretty obvious: shoulder-length to a buzz-cut. I told him I liked his new haircut. I was scheduled to work for three hours. The first hour my TG helped with the first salsa class, and I stayed at the desk with Woman 1. Woman 1 can come off a bit frosty, but she warmed up to me and shared some about her job as a sociology teacher. Then she took the next two classes, and that left me with my TG. Perfect. We talked non-stop for almost an hour. The power of CTTM. TG did most of the talking. That’s how it usually is with men and me anyway. I always seem to be attracted to the chatty ones. So what did I learn about TG? He’s not as young as he looks. He told me all kinds of things.

I noticed we were mirroring each other with our bodies leaning back and our arms crossed. It was cold in the lobby. The communication was definitely much easier this time around, and it flowed much more naturally. He also tried to sneak in a touch later in the evening before we left.

You sometimes mention “spiking” some of your pheros with cops. Do you just mean that you layer your pheros over where you apply the cops? Or do you mix them together in a separate spray bottle? If the latter, what proportions do you use.

I ask because I just got my EOW today. These ladies weren’t playing about the smell…I don’t see how I’ll be able to do this—I haven’t even opened the bottle yet!!! :open_mouth:

Hi, Nehve,

Yes in the past I have added 4-5 drops of EOW directly to my IS/A or (8 to Pink Sugar) for convenience, but I have the best results just layering the cops underneath my phero product and additional cover scent. This way I can apply a higher concentration of cops and cover the scent more effectively.

The difference is that I can apply eight drops of EOW directly to my to-go bottle of IS/A, but when I spray, I’m not getting the equivalent of eight drops on my body–only a fraction. However, I get a better response from people if I apply eight drops directly to my skin and then cover up. It smells better, and it’s more effective.

Things are getting more interesting with my TG. So, I volunteered last night at dance class with him and Lady 1. Lady 1 gets cooler every time I talk to her. Cool in a good way. I wasn’t going to wear any pheros last night, but I cheated. I wore two sprays of 12.5 mcg EST. But it was unscented, so I felt a little better about that. It made me mad ditzy. Lady 1 noticed, so I made up some lame excuse about my long commute, rush to feed my cat, yada yada. She seemed to have bought it. She offered me some donuts.

TG wasn’t quite so chatty tonight. He seemed a little agitated, but he did say a couple of times that he hadn’t eaten and he was hungry. At first he directed a lot of his conversation to Lady 1, and he helped in the first and second classes. We talked a bit during the second class before he went to help out. He invited me to go indoor rock climbing with him and some friends. Then we were interrupted by a patron with a long story. Grrr!!! The patron complimented me on my hair. Luckily, TG remembered where we left off in the conversation and me where and when he and his friends meet for rock climbing.

He came out during the second class to “check up” on me. I noted that the class was pretty full. He looked at me and disappeared around the corner. I was like o_O then he reappeared a few seconds later with his pullover for me to put on or drape over my legs. Bonus points! We finally got a chance to talk before the third class. He noted I looked tired, and I told I had a long day, and I told him about my current job and my search for a new job. He listened very attentively. I could have just talked with him all night, but the volunteer coordinator interrupted us and asked if I was in the class. Grrr!!! I politely excused myself and joined the class. TG came in to check roll and told me he would find me on Facebook so I could get info about the rock climbing. I wish he had just asked me for my number, but baby steps.

So things are moving along. Like I noticed, the EST made me quite ditzy about ten minutes after application, and the self-effects lasted for about 30 minutes. I did notice some caring, protective reactions from others. Primarily Lady 1 offereing me some donuts, and my TG letting me use his pullover to wear in the chilly lobby. In the dance class, there was one older man who wanted to keep dancing with me even after the class was over. I told him I had to get to bed, and politely left.

I think I might up my EST sprays and make sure I wear CTTM or some other social the next time I see my TG. I want to get more of that protective vibe from EST coupled with the flowing communication of CTTM.

HAH! Here’s a conspiracy theory to ponder: Perhaps the donut sharing lady is trying to “fatten” you up to either eat you or to make you unappealing to the TG! See leave it to Steve to come up with the ulterior motives :wink:.

Seriously sounds like you are having some darn good results. I like your thinking about EST with the CTTM. Good combo should give some great results.

Indoor Rock Climbing w/the Crush

1/15/2010 – Indoor Rock Climbing w/the Crush

So, Friday night I passed up going to a wine and cheese party to go indoor rock climbing with my TG. I also threw on a couple of sprays of CTTM and Instant Shine.

TG sauntered over (looking sexy as hell) and told the guy at the front desk of the facility that I was with him and that he told me I could get in for $5.00 depending on who was working. I ended up getting in for free.

TG helped me put on my gear and led me to the the climbing walls and introduced me to some of his friends. He assisted me on my first two climbs on the easiest levels. He tied my harness to the rope and instructed me on how to climb the wall. Then his friend, Guy 1, kind of popped up out of nowhere and decided to plant himself on the mat in front of the wall I was climbing to watch. This made me hella nervous. I was already anxious, but this was a bit much. It was bad enough that rear end would be facing my crush, much less a perfect stranger. I confessed to TG, “This is totally out of my comfort zone.” He said that’s how he feels about swing dance.

I think the CTTM and Instant Shine helped people feel more at ease around me, considering I was the only person of color in the whole facility. I talked with some of TG’s “friends-who-are-girls.” Maybe I’m just crazy insecure, but I was not happy to see how many “friends-who-are-girls” he has. :frowning: I eschew harems. He went off to climb with some guys, and I ingratiated myself with his “friends-who-are-girls.” I figure if I get in good with them, I’m as good as gold.

I climbed two more walls. One of TG’s friends-who-is-a-girl coached me up my last wall. I looked down towards my right to see TG laying on his back, hands behind his head, gazing up at me with one of his cryptic smiles. I think he was checking out my a$$. :stuck_out_tongue: When I came down, he didn’t say much. He stayed on the mat, and I sat down next to him and we talked for a good bit while the rest of the group moved on. Needless to say, he kept me laughing. It was actually kind of magical.

Then he offered to teach one of his friends-who-is-a-girl salsa before she came dancing. Drat. :frowning: I was pretty jealous. I wonder if he has a thing for her. Oh well…

Around 10:30, I was tuckered out ready to go home. I’m not sure if was a good idea for me to leave early. Maybe I should have stuck around. TG was off talking to two friends-who-are-girls. I walked over to TG to say good-night. He gave me a side hug and asked me if I knew how to get back home and if I had everything. Yes, TG. I waved good-bye and left. The look on his face was lingering and indecipherable. Hmm…

I sent TG a message on Saturday that I enjoyed my time and that he was an excellent teacher. I also wrote that I would not see him this Thursday because I’m going to CA to see my brother. Crickets He didn’t write back at all. :frowning: Not a thanks for coming out, have a safe trip, see you when you get back. Nothing. Damn. I’m a little bummed about that.

Well, I can at least say the CTTM and Instant Shine kept me from feeling really awkward in an unfamiliar environment, and I was able to converse pretty freely with the folks I met there, a totally different crowd than I’m used to. As for TG, who knows. Conversations are great with him, but that’s about as far as it goes.
