Oh well. He basically said that the Orks (?) are there to help, but that it isn’t just the Orks or Dave Mustaine (??), that everyone (i.e. all his fellow Scientologists) has a responsibility, because “we” are the only ones who can make a difference in the world. He also advised that the rest of us “watch out,” because KRW isn’t just a radio station in San Francisco anymore. I think he might have been running a slight “ego fever.”
I read some excerpts from the unauthorized bio of Cruise. It’s really wild. Essentially when he was initiated they give him a lie detector test and they asked him his inner most secrets. Fears, things you’re ashamed of, sexual history, fantasies etc. It’s quite standard procedure for celebrity initiates as it can be used as blackmail.
This is where the gay rumors of him have surfaced from because people with access to such files would know these confessions.
If you don’t enjoy blue humour please pass on the ones marked BLUE!!!
I apologize ahead of time to the myriad of people i’m, now, going to offend! You can holler at me later, if i don’t get banned…the rest of you will be too busy laughing your ass off!
I have a friend who is one of their celeb members. One day, when I was bad-mouthing his church, he said, “That’s not fair, Kari! You haven’t had the personal experience with them that I have. Go down to the Celebrity Center (in Hollywood) and check it out.”
So, I did. It wasn’t like I thought-- it was WORSE! People in pseudo-martime uniforms with paranoid eyes, saying weird things.
The guy who gave me thier “personality test” had two little sons, taht he never has time for. He spends all his time volunteering for the “church,” so he can pay for the endless classes.
Here’s what happens… They promise to evolve people into sort of super-normal powers. One is supposed to be a sort of demi-god, when one reaches a certain level. But, as the group progresses, the church keeps adding levels.
Now, my friend has been a member for decades. I haven’t noticed any special personal evolution, in him. Kirsty Alley is a long time member, and she’s still fat. Tom Cruise is turning psycho. Seems like most of these folks just get weirder and weirder.
Recently Cruise decided to meet some newbies, personally-- give them a thrill. One lady blurted out, “Mr. Cruise, you look so much TALLER on screen.” He fled the room. LOL!
BTW-- After I reported back on my experience at the Celebrity Center, he didn’t speak to me for two years.
Oh! And their lie detector is called an E-Meter. It looks like a little box with two orange juice cans attached by wires. You hokd onto the cans. If you are a good visualizer, you can make the signals jump, at will.
