Sorry I have been away for so long. School started back up and I got swamped with new autistic kids and am just now getting to catch up on anything outside of my classroom.
My question is about prolonged use of pheromones ( specific ones) and testosterone production or the reduction thereof.
Here’s the deal: I have been using a pretty basic mix of A314, IO and IS everyday for probably 2 years now with breaks occurring only on the weekend. However, even on the weekends I may still use IO and IS sporadically depending on what’s going down.
Well, starting about 6 months ago I started experiencing this incredibly deep fatigue. Like, a waking fog. I just ignored it or figured it was stress related but it started to have an effect on my performance at work so I made an appointment to investigate this further. The whole time, mind you, I was still thinking it was all stress related from work or my divorce.
Well, after a blood profile that included a testosterone check I was told that I am very low on T. Not critically low but on the lowest end of the “allowable” spectrum for my age. I am 27, 205 pounds and in pretty decent shape. I lift weights and eat well and walk around with a constant boner so I was really shocked when I found out about my T. It doesnt seem right.
So I am thinking maybe my prolonged use of one of my mones is causing the drop. I usually take 2 hits of IO x1 and 2 hits of ISx1 on top of two drops of A314. The A is divided between my ears, jawline and wrist and the IO and IS are always split with one shot of each on the wrist and the other on the chest.
Has anyone experienced anything like this? Should I drop the IO from the daily mix? Or the IS? Should I put the A on the wrist only?
I hate to shake up this mix because it really rocks for me but outside of a internal reason I am in search of an external cause.
why are you wearing mones DAILY? You should take some break often. Although HIGHLY unlikely, it wouldn’t be SHOCKINGLY surprising mones contributed A LITTLE to your testosterone dropping. The mones are end steroidal products, so yea, it can attribute to negative feedback inhibition. You have been using it EVERYDAY for TWO YEARS. that is a bit much man.
A valid question, one that’s been contemplated and speculated on. Try taking a break cold turkey and changing nothing else about your lifestyle. Diet, exercise etc try to maintain status quo in all other aspects of your life save for dropping the mones.
Try it for a few weeks to a month and get tested again and report back.
Well your low Test levels could be due to a vast number of things! I doubt it’s mones unless if they contain parabens. If they do contain parabens then they may very well exhibit hormonal effects, especially if taken in such a concentration like you have.
How much sleep do you get per night? How well do you really eat? You might think you eat well but perhaps you don’t get enough of something like protein, zinc, monounsaturated fats and too much of saturated fats. All of which have effects on testosterone production. What exercises do you do? Cardio? Compound weights? Isolation weights? Do you drink alcohol/smoke?
The fact that you said you are stressed can affect test levels. I’m going to presume because you are divorced you are also getting less sexual stimulation in comparison to when you didn’t feel fatigued? That can also effect levels.
There are so many possible reasons that your test levels are low that you really need talk to your doctor. Find out from staff whether these mones contain parabens and if they do, stop using them for now.
But since you lift weights, and you haven’t seen a difference in performance? Are there anything different with your diet, is there something that you’re missing out on. Most men, who aren’t on mones, take T boosters because they’re naturally low on them. This isn’t a generalized study but I do know guys who lift a lot at my gym that take T boosters to help. Sometimes its genetics. Moreover I doubt that pheromones have anything to do with it. Both on the male and female side people who are long term users haven’t seen any negative effects, but people are different.
Steve took a 30 day break and from reading his Journal he did lose some lbs that never happened when he was on mones.
For me personally I noticed a little weight gain, and I thought it was the mones, but I started tracking my diet and I was eating and drinking more than I was pre-mones, and I know drinking and eating less healthy can drop T levels but to the extent of how much, I don’t know.
Look I don’t wanna tell you to keep using if its going to hurt you, but I highly doubt that it would be the cause of that. The less stress I have in my life, due partly to my mone usage probably helped lower cortisol levels and made my life a bit more fun to be in.
If its really a question ask a health professional and take the no pheromone diet and see where it leads you. Track any changes, both internal and external to determine if it was really that or not.
Regardless of some of the opinions here. Androstenone is produced by the body normally and its very hard to cross the blood brain barrier even if ingested, also Androstenol is produced by animals.
I doubt it would have any effects on T levels as well.
I tell people here all the time, and it applies to me too. Don’t believe what people tell you, research it yourself. NO ONE is a leading expert here, in terms of medical ramification. People who tell you to take a break without offering some sort of proof or substance is just going on pure guess.
There are plenty of research and you should be fine. But when it comes to our health you gotta take it seriously.
