Question about 'Mones from multiple bottles

Hi All,

I was just reading Steveo’s Introduction to 'Mones, to reacquaint myself with the products, and a question popped into mah head… Does it matter if a particular product is applied from two separate bottles… ie If I had a bottle of Ammo 2x and a bottle of Ammo 1x and my sweet spot was 3x Ammo 1x, would I just be able to use one spray of 2x and one of 1x… or would that potentially cause issues as they might be slightly different (different batches, slightly different concentrations of ingredients etc)

For a fairly basic product like Ammo, it probably wouldn’t make much difference at all as the proportions of the primary components have not greatly varied over the years.

The only thing I can think might be an issue if one of them is your old bottle is the scents - Ammo has had several scent canges over the years and you might have one of the old scents that is different from the current FF21.

Also, an older formula of Ammo had four components as opposed to todays three - the old one was none, nol, rone and TAA, whilst todays Ammo is just none, nol and rone - TAA is the main component of Instant Shine, so if you were using old and new Ammo plus IS, you might want to hang-back on the IS a little but again, that is a fairly minor adjustment. Emaling John, Steve or Mickaelia with the batch numbers might help clarify which scent/component packages you are dealing with.

Even with a more complex product like A314, mixing different batches will still give you a functional product - I tend to let the dregs that remain at the end of each A314 oil bottle drain into another old bottle and after two or three, you do get an amount of usable product in there - I’ve not noticed a huge differenc in effect between each, although the minor scent differences between batches can make it seem a little strange.
