Now that I’ve finally found the mix that fits me best (A314,Ammo,IS), I’m gonna order a 30 mL of Ammo soon (along with some 4X Instant Shine! ) and had a few things on my mind, so in order to make the best decision, I’m gonna ask you guys for some input!
Ok, I suppose I’m in the minority but I like the smell of Ammo (FF22, I think? Or is it FF21?). After it dries down, I think it smells really good, kind of masculine and sporty, if that makes sense.
But I also like Akuto as well. A314 and MX297 smell awesome to me. So I’m trying to decide which scent I want here.
I’m also wondering if Akuto in cologne strength would be too “heavy”. It’s a musky smell, and I’m not sure if you’d necessarily want a 20% smell over a 6% with that. Problem is, I’m worried about the 'mone diffusion of Ammo if it is not in cologne strength.
One other thing: can anyone tell me the diffusion pattern of the Ammo smell? I know Akuto is like an aura.

I think the ff21 scent is meant to leave a trail as opposed to the aura of akuto or so Im told, I have had people comment on my smell from 10ft away with ff21, I am also considering ammo in akuto because like you I love the smell but I am concerened, like you that it may be to strong at 20%.
FF22 is world edition. It’s untested for the most part with 6% Neroli/FF21/FF22/Akuto. Also it’s not 20%, I believe from the website it was between 10-15% cologne strength so even if it made a difference, the mones would still diffuse. This is just my theory but its body heat that depends on the diffusion of the mones, the scent does carry it, and for the most part since most mones are undetectable, you’ll still get close to the same diffusion but with just a tad bit less scent.
A314 is musks and very little Akuto, if you notice, A314 isn’t exactly the same as Akuto. I think Jas said something along the lines of .03% of scented Akuto is in A314.
I like using Akuto for night time wear and Neroli/FF21 for nearly any other time of the day. I would just go with your preference with what makes you feel the most comfortable, I know some people don’t like Akuto, some people don’t like one of the FF and some don’t like Neroli, it’s going to be all in your preference.
I am not a fan of Akuto. I wouldn’t get it. A friend of mine said that it smells like an some Indian whatever, heh.
Personally, I like the smell of FF22 the most. It is a bit flowery, but it adds an element of ‘PRE-SELECTION’ when sarging.
Plus, everyone in the US that buys ammo gets FF21; when you smell something reminding you of Irish Spring coming from someone, you would easily suspect that he might be wearing mones. Having said that, I actually think FF21 smells pretty decent…
I have worn A314 plus MX390 FF21 and Ammo FF21 all together and gotten the “OMG you smell nice.” Comments.
I’ve also worn A314, Ammo and IO all akuot scented and gotten the “OMG you smell nice” comments.
The scents are great, but in the end its the reaction from the mones thats important, and getting them to tie that emotion and response to me.
IMO it’s really AKUTO vs. the rest of the scents. That musky scent just exudes masculinity and seriousness. The others are just personal preference. I really think that anything AKUTO scented is going to be more MANLY or add a serious flavor to your mix. I’m not saying one scent is better, but smell alone can influence good or bad reactions. Thats why when testing they don’t want you using random colognes to cover the scent of the product.
I really like AKUTO in the cold there is a warmth to it.
I would say overall it is personal preference and I prefer right now the “HALO” effect of AKUTO.
I would say also that scent can make a difference. Scents alone can “attract” someone. The scent could actually play more of a role in someone being receptive to your sig than you would think. Same girl 2 different scents 3 out of 4 meetings in AKUTO and 1 in f22 comment on smell with AKUTO only and to me the more sexual intent was in the f22 combo of mones. The more I think about that this girl liked my AMMO2x the more I am gonna change that and think she likes the 20% AKUTO thats carrying those mones. I will have to see when I order me some str8 AKUTO for the little project I’m doing.

I LOVE IT. The smell ooozes being a strong,sexual male. Unlike the ff21 smell, it’s more acceptable in any situation. I hated the ff21 smell, it reeks of old man / cheap cologne. I doubt i’ll ever go back to standard ammo now.
I wore Ammo Akuto 20% ast night for the 3rd time, all the girls who hugged me in a club (3 or 4) all gave extra long, tight hugs, and one even said ’ You smell AMAZING. ’
Want to stand out from the crowd and get girls really excited? I really can’t emphasise Ammo Akuto 20%!
I feel like I’m a little behind with this question, but do the cover scents actually affect the way the mones diffuse? And if so, can anyone explain why/how? I always thought the mones would just do their own thing regardless of cover scent.
Actually I think it’d be different in a way.
Consider that Akuto is supposed to diffuse into a sorta aura…like a force shield around you.
FF21 is supposed to have better “sillage” which means it leaves a trail that leads back to it’s source.
Now in terms of effect what that means is you can walk across a room and your 7.5 mcgs of Ammo are spread out in a trail that can be up to 20 feet long.
Or you can walk across a room and have your mones stay close to you in a tight concentrated place.
Neither is always better or worse, the trail gives a wider range so long as you’re mobile, but the aura would give more intense hits.
Drawbacks mean that your sweet spot and OD levels could actually be different for one product over another…I’m imagining that Akuto levels would be a spray or so less since the aura is likely to be more concentrated in terms of space thus making OD easier to occur on the same amount of sprays.
This is why mentioning what scent you use, and what range you notice effects is important for AD research. Carrier/cover scents effect the product as much as the molecules themselves.
Certain scents are heavier molecularly and dont bind well with other molecules so you could get more or less diffusion depending on the scent you wear. Pheromones naturally travel with the smell of your body odor. Synthetic mones travel with the scent of the carrier.
Also some scents leave better sillage then others. Sillage is the vapor trail that leads back to the source of a scent.
AD’s binders are in the cover scent not in the pheromone mix. This is why they tell us to at least get it in light neroli and not unscented.
Right. An “aura” in my case would probably be better, considering I spend most of my time in school, seated at a desk. Unless you think the sillage is really that tight, that it can’t reach past 4 feet.
MX297 reports have claimed it reaches pretty far out as far as range goes, and that’s the sane strength.
In my experience I believe it can be over 4ft depending on your surroundings or how well your body is diffusing them ie body heat. The colder it is the tighter the “aura” body heat and room temp both. Also the humidity. I get hits from across the bar which is over 4ft. You still can make a walk through and people will smell you. I have noticed that it doesn’t take as long when your close to someone for the effects to start working because of the more concentrated halo/aura effect.
