Pretty straight forward question. I love how the oil version takes a lot longer to diffuse and I know the spray versions don’t last as long. So other than the price why should one go for the spray version?
It is IMO.
I’ve not got the new versions yet but I have found it invaluable to have my bottle of the old MX347 to hand - Particullarly for long days when a quick refresh may be in order.
Not to mention that since the weather is getting colder, oils diffuse a LOT slower and probably not as wide of a cloud either (guessing) so an alc based product would be great if you live in an area that gets fairly cold this time of year.

Yes, the temprature thing is also a major consideration, it is very cold and snowy here now. However, I wonder if that may be offset somewhat by interior spaces generally being better heated, so warmer & more humid?
It’s also to be brought up that the spray version (I have the a314.1a) can be brought right with you in to-go form instead of the bulkier oil bottle. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE the oil version and prefer it in every way, but sometimes versatility and on-the-go application is great.
Also yea it diffuses a lot slower in the cold, but when it’s this cold I’m normally socializing inside where it’s warm anyways, which will bring that diffusion closer to normal again, even if it is a bit drier still. ![]()
I don’t know guys. I’m not too convinced. Maybe if it was available in a regular size spray bottle I would give it a shot but as is I think I may pass.
Really? I would think being able to get it in a to go size would be better since some won’t want to make a large investment on a full size until they know for sure how it works.
Way I figure you could get the B version which is equal mone content to A314 which in my theory would work about as well in a very cold climate as A314 works in a warmer environment.
Or you could get version A which is slightly stronger (unknown by how much) which could work about as well as almost two drops. A single spray should work fine, and if the environment is cold enough your diffusion could last almost six hours which is about how long most sprays last for me during winter months.
This is what I will be doing with my version A when it arrives.
And the Togo size is very convenient IME - Although I use the oil base in the morning before work, I carry a tin with 5 togos of my main pheros in my jacket pocket and use them for a quick topup/spray of something different when needed.
