I think I’m pretty well ready to pony up and buy some of this stuff. I think I finally decided, based on the advice from some of the people who responded to my intro thread and some of the other stuff I read, that I’m going to go with Ammunition and Instant Shine. I think I might as well just get the regular sizes, as I think I have enough people to vouch for both of those being pretty good starter pheros.
I was just curious though… Whenever I put on cologne and stuff, I always make sure that I never overdo it. Most of the time, actually, I spray it into the air and walk through it, so only some of it gets on me. It’s kind of like, it’s just enough to get her attention, and if she wants more, she’s going to have to get in close to get it.
I was wondering if the same rules applied for some of these products. I know there are suggestions on where to apply them (i.e. chest, neck, wrist, etc.) but how exactly would you suggest I would apply it? How far away should I hold the bottle from my body? Can I spray it into the air and walk through it as I mentioned before? Can you do like a half-sized spray? I don’t know. I’ll probably figure out some of these things when I actually get my hands on some and get to experiment. In the meantime, I just figured that there wouldn’t be any harm in asking.
It’d be advisable to spray on warm areas, wrist, neck, chest, and behind the ears. Obviously if u want it to affect u then apply close to ur nose and if not then go to the wrists or anywhere far away from it. U can always just do the walking thing but yea it’s kinda hard since the spray is not a cloud but a squirt sort of
A-ha! So you follow the Carson Kressley (Queer Eye) School of Thought: “Spray, Delay, and Walk Away!”
I love that attitude… “If she wants more, she’s going to have to get in close to get it.” You player, you!
You’ll have to experiment and play around with the pheromones for a little time before you find the PERFECT application spot and dosage.
Your strategy of showering under a falling spray mist is a great opportunity to get maximum spray coverage over the maximum amount of skin, for maximum broad-area diffusion. Your whole body (or at least all the skin that was exposed to the mist) will be a walking phero cloud.
You might find other strategies useful. For instance, in settings where you want to directly affect the other person (and this works ESPECIALLY great if you gesticulate a lot when you speak), apply to the back of the hands. If you’re waving your hands a lot, you’re basically throwing pheros into people’s noses.
If you are more into a self-effect, people aply closer to the head and nose. The neck, the earlobes, sometimes even directly under the nose itself!
It’ll make a LOT more sense to you when you’ve got them in hand and are building your phero experience. You have two smashing products to begin with, two that have tons of flexibility with application spot. Let us know how your experiments go, and if you ever have any q’s, feel free to give us a call!
