I know everyone talks about the potential for self effects including -none rage with the use of -none heavy products. Has anyone ever experienced any issues while using A314? It seems like a sort of edginess or even anxiety, at only 2 drops/day. Is it something that would dissipate over time?
The only side-effects I’ve noticed with A314 is a rash on my neck and chest. Otherwise I don’t feel a damn thing. It works great, imparting a peaceful and somewhat fatherly alpha vibe. Perfect workplace persona but not so good for dating and socializing.
Realize A314 is mostly androsterone (80%). The other 20% contain 15 (last time I heard) steering mones, including a small amount of androstenone. In other words the trace amounts of androstenone are too tiny to cause an OD. If you’re having “rage” problems, it’s just you…
I wouldn’t say they are “rage” problems, but just a different feeling. I feel fatigued and kind of cloudy-headed, and in a less favorable mood. It sucks because I’ve already seen good results, and my best interactions have been with A314 all by itself.
If I apply to my wrists/forearms instead of behind the ears will I get the same effects but maybe less self-effects? Or is it something that I’ll get used to?
You’ll probably get used to it. Keep in mind that you are exposing your brain to a level of pheromone stimulus it’s not used too, like being used to indoor lighting and then suddenly going to the beach. It can tire you out. Get a little extra rest, watch your hydration and nutrition, kick back and enjoy the ride.
I’m going to give it a shot, especially since I’ve been so happy with the results, but quite frankly it’s interfering with my work and I need to make a change if this continues. I’m hopeful that I can get it worked out.
Yeah I pretty much agree with what’s being said above, generally A314 is not really the type of stuff to send you into a rage or bring you to some level of agitation. Although I can say that when I’m wearing it I find that I’m more serious than I am normally am, especially when I first started using it.
If you suspect it’s the A314, lay off it for a few days and see how your mood is affected.
As soon as I wash it off, or take a day or two off, I feel much better. Just trying to see if there’s any way I can have the benefits without the side effects. Would applying to wrists only be helpful?
Well the best way to avoid self effects is to apply anywhere away from your nose, so yes the wrists are an ideal place. Also I’ve found that the back of my neck is a good place to apply if I want to avoid gettin’ a stray whiff of mones.
Although the more you use a product the less self effects you will have, so it may just be a matter of breaking yourself in to the point where you don’t notice the effects any longer.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I’m going to try and apply to wrists and see if the less self-effects help. I was thinking it could be an allergic reaction to the oil, despite not having any skin irritation, and I’ll try applying directly to my clothes as well.
I haven’t noticed any none “rage” with this mix. However, I did wake up naked, in the middle of the woods, surrounded by dead animals that looked like a wild dog or something, had mauled them.
It’s happened a few times since I started using A314…weird.
I think your neuro tranmitter in your brain is sensitive to A314. It makes your neuro tired. TAA oil gives me the same effect but I got used to it after a few times of application.
Silly question, I know, but have you tried only 1 drop?
Agree with the others, if you have self effect problems getting it away from your nose is goos and wrists, if they are bare would probably be the best place.
You too, huh, thought it was just me!
(love the reply - did laugh out loud!)
I use A314 ( 2 or 3 drops) every day with no problems. I have, however, had two incidents when mixing it with other products. A314 with a hefty dose of P83 made me overconfident to the point that I thought I was a better rider than Valentino Rossi, the broken shoulder plainly indicated that I wasn’t. the second time, I combined it with three sprays of IG and, while I wasn’t raging, I was in a thoroughly bad mood for the day, then again, it was monday, raining and I was at work ![]()
Apart from that, I regularly use 3 drops, mix with a host of other pheros and have had no ill effects, as the guys have said, try just one drop and spread over your wrists.
First my opinion about anone, People seem to think because its a derivative of Testosterone that it can cause rage much like steroids do. No it causes aggressiveness and sometimes moodiness. Any rage that comes from a person wearing it comes from the person and how they handle the feelings of aggressiveness and moodiness not from the mone itself.
This is why you see rage in the younger guys more. They have a lower threshold for anone because they already make a lot and don’t need a lot more to get to that aggressive feeling and they have not yet learned to deal with feelings of aggression like older guy have so you see more rage and acting out in anger .
I did send you some info on the carrier and scent components in A314 but I do not think they are causing this in your case.
Now what your experiencing is Anxiety its not a allergic reaction like itching or a rash this is a emotional reaction. Mones evoke emotion. Something about A314, one of the mone components is triggering this.
Now have you used any other mones ? Maybe we can narrow it down to the specific mone that is a problem for you. It would be harder with A314 since there are so many but we can try. I know when I use TAH I feel emotionally out of sorts and always have to off set it with a spray of TAL to my chest. Perhaps we can figure something out that will work for you in this manner.
Out of curiosity, in your lifetime has any person made you feel the same emotions your feeling now like your dad or a boss ? The signatures may be close and triggering feelings of unease.
Tisha
Does the fact that wearing a spray of Instant Shine seemed to lessen the side effects help suggest anything? A314 - 2 drops - all by its lonesome has given me the best results thus far, however, the IS did seem to help with the issues.
Yea like Tisha said there are a lot of different mones in A314 (16 in the latest version from memory).
Now each mone will have some negative effects and plenty of positive ones, no doubt. I would assume for A314, the makers want to maximise the DHV vibe and ‘warm masculinity’. The mones that do that will do that, despite their many positive characteristics, will also have some negatives no doubt (that’s life - every mone has some kind of negative to it as well I’ve found, but mostly do swing things overall in a really positive direction at the right dose).
So you might have mones in A314 that increase ‘respect’ (like tiny bits of slowly diffusing AndrostEnone) that form the backbone to the AndrosteRone in the formula - but at the same time they might cause some anxiety. That’s the price you have to pay.
A314 tends to give me an unrushed demeanour and good ability to ‘lead’, as people are somewhat ‘restrained’ by the heavyness of the strong aura it helps to emit. Side effect on me can be that I am feeling restrained too at times. It feels heavy on me as well at times but the pluses far outweigh the minuses IMHO (at least in meeting ‘high-end’ people).
Wearing lots of A314 can result in me being serious and carefully guarding my words as if I was speaking to ‘someone really important’. Of course, that’s the effect it has on others towards me and they may perceive me as being of high value partly because of that. You can’t have one without the other and the benefits in the right environment far outweigh the negative ‘self-effects’ IMHO…
You might be oversensitive to the Androstenone in the product. I get the same reaction wearing anything with none in it, high and very minute dosage. From what I understand the androstenone in A314 is either a small dosage and/or it is well buffered. But the buffers may not be working as intended in your case.
What you may want to try is to lower the dosage to just 1 drop and wear that for a while to allow your body to become adjusted to the product. Slowly raise it to 2 drops. If you get the same reaction, go back to 1 drop.
Another way to go is make sure the product is not applied anywhere near your chest or neck or face. Try applying to your wrists or the very back of your neck so you get less self effect.
You also may build a tolerance for the product and its anxiety effects on you in time.

Thanks everyone for the feedback and suggestions. I’m going to try some of the things suggested and I’ll report back. Much appreciated.
