BEFORE YOU READ! don’t get me wrong, i’m a very new user and i understand that some people do get crazy hits or whatnot and some only get subtle ones. I’m with the subtle people and i have to be very attentive to see any changes within other people. I made this thread FOR newbies who’re hating pheromones after a week or so of experiments to understand how i feel because i was like them for awhile.
I can see that there are new users literally everyday here at pherotalk and Androtics. I’ve only been a user for a little over a month now and I can totally understand all of the skeptics out there! I’ve barely made my 2nd order because my first order were all togo bottles and they’re totally about to run dry in a few days.
dont think this thread saying something like "OMG i wore (pheromone) and the girl was like ‘oh me so horny!’ "
I’ve had my share of first time experiments with about 4-5 different pheromones on at a time hoping that a girl would jump out of a bush and start humping me. I’ve also had my first time of doubting pheromones because I didn’t get any noticeable results.
Well I NOW understand that you have to work with pheromones in situations that may require them and different situations may require different pheromones. YES this is super obvious to some of those newbies out there because it’s posted in almost every sticky and a lot of threads . However, I now understand that you have to experiment one pheromone at a time and different dosages every time. I’ve yet to find my sweet spot or the right dosage because I understand that it may be fast for some, but for people kinda slow liek me, it may take months before i notice the differences in dosages.
What i may recommend people out there do is NOT to expect from pheromones and use it accordingly to your lifestyles. If you’re going to the club, then yeah try some -none products and start at lower dosages. if you’re going to study with some friends maybe some instant shine will do you good! On a date?? social products with -nols like instant honest or openness! etc. Of course this may take awhile to see noticeable changes. WHY? lemme ask you how many times you club a week?? If you go once a week, that means only once a week can you try new dosages. And you HAVE to try no pheromones after a couple of weeks to see the difference between having them on and off. That one pheromone experiment alone can take months already. I say not to expect much, but i still wanna state that you must be observant to notice any effects. I did not notice ANYTHING within the first week or 2 weeks. It may be because Tater states that you need to give it a few days for it to work on you (that’s why he also says you should wear it at home for a few days i suppose?)
I’m not a member at LS (yet), but i’ve read many threads on there which are very similar to here and some basic information there is very useful (of course most threads are based on their products). The information there is useful as well, but in the end (i’m not being biased) i lean towards Androtics a little more (and Androtics also has so much variety!)
read the stickies, pay attention, be healthy, be PATIENT!
Genesis, this is so good because you can speak right to younger guys (n gals). I think a lot of us older newbies get quicker results because we have more life experience. We may be shy or something but we know that sometimes we just have to put ourselves out there so we just grit our teeth and do it. You’re gonna be totally dangerous and I mean that in a good way. Have fun!
Reps to genesis from Tater too. Awesome post. I do think its more difficult than even your explanation though. Tater believes tailoring your moment-by-moment, or even hour-by-hour phero signature is unmanageable, and thinks all are best served by finding their ideal phero complement signature. All this because Tater thinks your body adapts to the pheros around it, and because Tater is, after all, mad.
Excellent post. You seem to think the same way I do way you do…particularly when it comes to tailoring different mixtures to particular environments/social contexts. Natural phero signatures aren’t necessarily static…rather I think that they’re very dynamic and will change given the environment you’re in. Most pheromones are the bi-product of hormone breakdown. Assuming hormone levels change when we enter different environments, when our moods and feelings change, and/or when we are around certain physical stimuli, I suspect that there are constant changes in our phero signatures as well.
How pheromones are perceived by others also seems to be greatly affecting by the context in which phero-stimuli are introduced… much like any other stimuli we process when we’re in the vicinity of someone. For instance, A314 has always reminded me of a well fitted suit…it projects a sense of power, while being very sophisticated…its also very serious. In a more serious environment, people respond very positively to A314, because the power, sophistication and depth of A314 is in line with the ideal image of a person in this environment…much like the visual stimuli of seeing someone in a well fitted suit. However, take that same ‘vibe’ and put it in a light-hearted setting, and the serious nature of A313 can be perceived as a negative, disruptive force. Picture an authoritative type person overdressed in a well fitted suit to a pool party. (bad example, but you get the picture).
My personal belief is that efficient use of pheromones (as in maximizing positive effects) calls for learning how to use the right pheromones, in the right situation. Congruency between pheromone signature, your behavior, and every other physical and stimuli in your vicinity is the key to success with assimilating pheros into your everyday, dynamic, life. Just as we wear different clothing to different social contexts, we should wear different pheros, in different contexts as well.
i totally agree sigma. varying from situations pheros would be much more effective given the right mix.
and of course thsi was just my 2 cents for noobies tater, i have much more to learn and it seems that managing it even hour by hour as you said would difficult
Only my 2 cents as well. Tater doesnt know it all. He just pretends to.
It would still be funny to have someone trying to adjust constantly, running back and forth to the bathroom.

lol Adjusting a mix multiple times a day is a excessive of course… But I do think its important to build mixes that incorporate into how you plan your day on going, rather than trying to build overly general mixes that are expected to cover all grounds. Thats just me though.
I do often mix small single application re-application batches and carry them in my pocket. If I think there’s going to be a change in environment/context throughout the day, I’ll often vary my re-application mix to match these changes.
For instance, I might start off a day at work, and be expecting happy-hour and a night out afterwards. A314+Beta-Androstenol+TAA+p93 would start off my day. My re-application mix would likely have something like Alpha Androstenol+TAA+P74+Turn Up The Heat. Very different mixes, with very different purposes.
Tater understands that you may be having totally different results. I find that my world domination mixes, which are my label for a base mix where ive added things trying to complement certain variables, give me very good results for nearly all circumstances. It quickly gets to the point where i dont think about the hits. They just flow, and only when someone goes over the top or i sit down to journal do i think about what i was wearing. My biggest obstacle is the 8-10 hour maximum effectiveness for most phero mixes. I prefer not to have a phero-spike in the middle of the day when i reapply. If i can find a good way to composite into a TAA OIL base, i might get another advantage out of it.
I suppose it would depend on the how much variability in social interaction a person has throughout the day, but there certainly are valid points to a ‘one-size fits all’ approach vs a ‘tailored/focused approach’. MHarris had a really great post on this back on the day, but I’m too lazy to look for it.
Anyway, the effects of a pheromone and/or mix can be highly positive in one situation, and spell disaster in another. For instance, Primal Instinct and dilluted EW copulins work wonders in the bedroom, but I wouldn’t be caught dead sitting in front of one of my clients at work reaking of that stuff. Its very hard to be ‘sexual’ and ‘serious and trustworthy’ at the same time…this is why I prefer a tailored approach. (but thats a personal preference).
The argument for a focused approach is that it focuses on a heavily accentuated central effect that allows the user to really stand out in a particular social context. In essence you have an unnaturally pronounced central effect that stands out. The argument against this approach is that positive effects are so highly pronounced, that if put in the wrong context, could just as easily be highly negative (again no copulins and Primal Instinct at work). “The nail that sticks out gets hit by the hammer”, however, so it does take some planning to get this approach right.
For me the effects I build around are trust+comfort for work/serious settings, high energy+uplifted moods+communication+slightly sexual for general social outings, sexual/sensual + comfort in the bedroom. Success with this approach isn’t necessarily a matter of ‘watching hits’ throughout the day…rather its a matter of planning your day and matching your pheromones accordingly. Its no different than planning what you’re going to wear for the day when you leave your house. You may not think about what clothing you’re wearing while you’re wearing it, but you did put some thought into what you wore when you put it on.
All that being said, there are legitimate arguments for a one-size fits all type of approach. Personally I think if you try to do too much of everything at once, you’ll do everything badly, which is why balance is the key to this approach. This approach works best if there is very little variability in your day-to-day social settings (in which case one type of mix could easily applicable day-to-day) or if there is a great deal of variability in your social settings throughout the day (making it harder to produce a central effect that would be consistently positive in different settings). Where a focused approach aims for mis-balance, a one-size fits all approach aims for more balance and neutrality. It may not stand out as much, but the effects are usually more broadly applicable.
