We’ve all had them- a compliment on the smell, a question about it.
A few stuck out to me in recent memory
p86+p83 (neroli)- A girl sitting two tables from me goes “What is that amazing smell? I can’t figure it out and it’s bothering the crap out of me”
Another girl, who I was much closer to, goes “damn what smells amazing?”
Two days later a girl asked me if I was wearing cologne
TUTH+IS+IH- french girl freaked out, jumped on me, and started sniffing away. it was ridiculous.
So my 2 questions are-
A: when a girl says “what is that amazing smell”- does she actually not know, or is she just intimidated to compliment you.
B: Is it the neroli, or the mones? Because I can’t smell neroli after a half hour.
I get that hit with P86 alot, leading me to believe that it is infact, a hit.
Also, if they do like the smell then they lean in to smell more, win win situation to me
Girls often have a more acute sense of smell than guys so it’s possible. I know I just got a smell hit today from a female friend, it was akuto (mx297) and I definitely couldn’t smell it but she pointed it out plain as day from about 3 feet.
It’s unlikely that they’ll pinpoint it to you unless they pass you or are alone with you and can relate the two together.
imo while they may detect and or like the smell it’s not the same as the overall effect of the mones. Mones don’t make women attracted because they smell nice, if that was the case Axe would actually be onto something with their advertising. Mones are a subconscious means of communicating information about yourself that may attract women. If wore just enough cologne to cover it and they didn’t notice it consciously the molecules are still being inhaled, still hitting the receptor points and activating the area’s of the brain that they’re designed to stimulate.
It’s very strongly believed that it’s not the actual smell as the nerve suspected of carrying the pheromone signal bypasses the lobe of the brain associated with smell and goes directly toward the emotional primitive parts of the inner brain.
Whilst I’ve had strong positive reactions from some scents before, I have never had regular responses like “You smell so good - I just want you to pull-over and do things to me,” or “The way you smelled when you came out of the bathroom tonight made me so horny” and a variety of other nice things, nor had women insist on wearing my shirt in bed, then keeping it, physically ripping the clothes off me or some of the secondary effects on bystanders before I took-up pheros!
The idea with the smell being a hit with P86 is that it is often seen as a beautifier, therefore, maybe the hit is the fact that they are more aware of the scent do to the actual effects of the mone. At least thats my theory with P86, I get smell and look compliments like crazy when I wear it, so it makes sense to me.
