My question is, if you know approximately her menstrual cycle and that she would be ovulating in a few days but not yet. Is it safe to try out some -none products?
To be specific, the only time to avoid using them is during her period, correct? (assuming she like it)

That’s about right. You can use the “ramping up” technique. Upping the amount of ~none approaching and dropping as she moves away from ovulation. And remember ~none doesn’t start to smell “good” as she approaches ovulation, it simply becomes less aversive.

One of the best things you can you in your life is be aware of your lady’s menstrual cycle - get an app for your phone, or use an online system, but whatever you do be aware!
I find it makes a large difference in most of the interactions between guys and girls: not just pheronomes, sex and dating. The suprise for me (which sadly came much later in life) was how much intellectual variation was caused by the menstrual cycle. Not that anyone would ever admit it though.
