Sorry MX200

Ok tried you last night. 2 sprays to chest. Death by game.

Felt really “opressed” by the scent. Like it was choking the very air around me. Made me really self conscious and uncomfortable.

Something I’ve noticed a lot with older game mixes (MX203).

Oh well, I think this one is going straight onto the shelf. Sorry buddy.

This is exactly how I feel about the Game scent. Spot on. If it wasn’t so strong, it might be yummy. Sadly, this is not the case.

as much of a fan of game as i am, i do see what you’re talking about regarding the scent. it’s very “in there.” neroli does to me what game does to you; any more than 2-3 sprays and i can literally taste it in the back of my mouth for an hour or so.

did you at least get some hits out of it?

Not really any hits to speak of. Was kinda shooting solo, and I couldn’t really catch the vibe to just talk to people. In fact, people seemed to be giving me a bit more space than usual. I really blame the mix, or at least the scent of it.

Oddly enough MX292 does not feel this way to me (or at least not nearly as much). I was surprised that I can wear 3 or 4 sprays without the Game becoming overkill. There are many possible explanations:
A) They have begun using less of the Game in new mixes (seems unlikely)
B) The Game formula has changed recently (also unlikely)
C) An additional pheromone in MX292 alters the scent (or perception of it) for the better (possibly)
D) An additional pheromone in MX200 alters the scent (or perception of it) for the worse (possibly)

C & D seem to be much more likely options, unless someone from the shop can verify A or B.
In the case of D, I’m guessing that whatever pheromone is the culprit is a very popular one, as I’ve noticed a similar effect with many of the game mixes (MX200, MX203, some of the Ammo test pack). If this is the case, then it also explains why the Ammo test pack mixes seem to have drastically different scent strengths.
In the case of C it is possibly a newer putative without much testing, or one that has not been frequently used in many of the other (mens?) mixes.

I’m trying to formulate an idea as to which molecule is the culprit. Case D is bad because it means that a popular and probably useful molecule is to blame. It would be similar to the way that only some people can smell -none, cause only some people seem to have a problem with game.

I could perform a simple test to eliminate one of those choices if I could get my hands on a bottle of “just game.” Or if I could get myself two bottles of single molecules with full strength game scent added (to ensure that should I randomly have picked the good/bad molecule, I also have a different random one).

I have a theory that I have been building for the D case, which I’m really really hoping is not true, cause it’s a forum favorite molecule. I will hold off on saying anything more till I can actually perform a test.

Unfortunately, gotta curtail the random phero purchases, so this will have to wait till I can build up a points credit or something.
