looked inside my dhl envelope and saw the all too familiar green bubble wrap when my eye caught something yellow. lo and behold it was a fun size toblerone from april. hopefully she put it in there on purpose and it didn’t fall off the lunch counter or anything. love it, thanks april!
onto the interesting top… some taa leaked out through the top. not where the top meets the bottle but through the actual top itself. luckily the plastic cap trapped most of what seemed to be 3-4.5 sprays of taa. no big deal and certainly nobody’s fault, probably just a faulty top. after cleaning it up my hands smell great. my next purchase might be a gallon of light neroli.
p.s. if you guys don’t see any journal updates or field reports from me after about a week, just know to never eat candy from april.
What Im grateful of so much is that in the last two orders of mine which were worth only $80 each were sent through Overnight DHL for free! I dunno why maybe because I live in California so its close or something.
Swiss candy is great. It’s a great example of engineering, in a sense, since the Swiss have great attention to detail. We’d include those supertasy Lindt truffles, but they melt easily in overnight packages.
They also have fantastically healthy cows over in Switerzland. Since they feed their cows right (with grass), there’s probably a little bit of CLA and omega 3s in there. I bet that’s part of the reason why Europeans can eat so much more indulgently and stay skinny. They get healthy fats in their foods, even their “unhealthy” foods.
Sorry about that. The manufacturer of the bottles created faulty design about a year ago, but we’re been on a “good batches” for quite some time now. Hopefully, this is just a one off. 1 in 1000 that’s bad. Some sort of acceptable error rate.
Not for you to concern yourself with, though. We’ll throw a new one into your next order. Just make a comment in your checkout details that one leaked last time, and to please include a new one by Jasmin’s authorization. Since you reported it here, they’ll easily get it authorized and give you a replacement on us.
