Hey Steve? Apple. :stuck_out_tongue:

Not spoilers, more uber star trek geekness…

Apple=Genesis Cave. Who else got it?

The beagle… From ADM Archer… Tell me someone else gets it.

Admiral Komack. That Rocked.

Who else found the tribble???

If the above post gets the red ink massacre, please head to my journal.

Spoilers and analysis will be happily and eagerly discussed there.

The movie was great without a doubt. PLENTY of references to the classic Star Trek for Trekkies but self-contained enough that anyone who likes Sci-Fi or Action flicks should be happy.

I know of people lambasting this movie for raping their inner child or somesuch, and while I believe all are entitled to an opinion, I feel sorry for those who can’t get past an almost religious clinging to cynicism, preventing them from finding that which is good in anything.

Fortunately, the Onion is there to bring their ridiculousness into sharp relief.

LOL

Good one Data.

I for one, LOVED it.

I will be seeing it for the 3rd time on Tuesday.

… that’s a long time from now… :frowning:

I don’t know ANYTHING about Star Trek but this movie looks killer. A friend of mine said that they did more than do the original actors (and show) justice as he mentioned that they surpassed it! One of the best movies/remakes ever he mentioned, and he grew up watching Star Trek. So I need to see it, in IMAX!!! As he mentioned all the awesome special effects, and how the action starts off right away!

You missed one in the quote in #18.:open_mouth:

I’m not a fan of Star Trek but felt the trailer is refreshing and i’m hooked!

It’s an entertaining film, but not well thought out and pretty convenient. Can’t elaborate without spoiling the plot! :stuck_out_tongue:
