Great report once again, Mark!
As for me and Paradise, well, yeah, but there’s a palpable sense of being at arm’s length from her end, but that’s cool. At first, I wasn’t sure what I wanted out of her. An FWB? Just an F? Doesn’t really matter now. Any escalation of what little we have will happen irrespective of the strip club environment. Right now we’re phone buddies, and I’m pleased to say that she only asks me to come to the club about 20% of the time. The rest of the time, we’re talking about damned near anything else. I already know her favorite restaurant and her favorite drink from Starbuck’s. These, at least, are opportunities waiting to happen.
There’s also Raven/Naomi, whose real, real name is Malinda. She doesn’t know the first thing about computers, so the likelihood of her finding out about this place is nil, so no sense hiding that. We’ve gotten to be pretty good friends as well, having had little impromtu afterwork “dates” consisting of chilling out with a drink and light conversation. She’s a sweetie, too, and since she’s no longer a stripper, it’ll be a little bit easier to pursue future real dates with her, if I decide to go for it.
But back to the club scene itself, you couldn’t possibly be more right. A sense of fun is the most contagious thing in any social gathering, be it a party at Bob’s down the road or a strip club. Contagious and extremely attractive. I’d worked myself up a comfortable rapport with a good many of the girls at Fox’s and laughter was always a result of sitting with me for a few minutes. Too bad it closed down.
The Vu, on the other hand… well, I’ve only been there once. The atmosphere is okay, but it’ll take some getting used to if I start going there. Plus it’s a bit more expensive. $20 cover, but the flipside is unlimited drinks for a flat 8 bucks. So, $28 just to get in. Not too expensive, but then there’s the lap dance situation. $30 for 1 song, sit on your hands. $50 for a little more sensual, but again, just 1 song. The Champagne room is $300 for a half an hour, and rumor has it that yes, there IS sex in the champagne room. Only problem is I don’t pay for sex. It’s one thing to dip a finger, or get rubbed through the pants, but if something further is going to happen, I want it to be outside of the club and because we both want it, not because I’m paying for it.
Oh, and tonight was a bust. I pulled into the Vu and didn’t see Paradise’s car. She may have gotten a ride, but I wasn’t going to take any chances. I didn’t really care to see anyone else. Had she been there, I would have taken the opportunity to meet some of the Vu dancers, but again, that wasn’t my objective tonight.
Instead, I went to the casino, spent $100 and came ahead an additional $400, so the evening wasn’t a total waste. ![]()
