Styr's Experiment #2 - Waitresses.

I have a few waitresses I am trying to experiment with; to see whether she can receive more in tips when wearing mones. Thus far I have experimented with combinations of IH, IO and IS with no conclusive results yet.

I do not own any of the womens products yet, but I am inclined to try them out. What is the difference between A and B in Instant Sexiness?

(A) is more of a Angelina Jolie sexy and (B) is more of a Marilyn Monroe sexy.

A is strong confident alpha driven independent

B is more soft kittenish sweet submissive

Tisha

Thanks, Tisha.

As for the results - Nothing conclusive yet.

Have had three subjects reporting back to me so far.

#1 - Young 20+? waitress at a Jazz bar/stylish restaurant.

  • 1x IS + 1x IH. She reported that she had gotten 100% more tips for the night. Had her try once more, this time with 1x IS and Ix IO

#2 - A ca 30 year old waitress at another restaurant, maybe a notch lower standard, than the first one.

  • 1x IS + 1x IH. She made casual hints that she might have received less in tips, than usual. She had one large table amongst others (with six people). The two pairs closest to her have no tips at all, while the one pair furthest away gave a standard 10%. She also told me that while the IS made her happy to begin with, she started yawning about 2 hours later. She was not particularily interested in a rerun, but other than that was happy I asked her to test. :stuck_out_tongue:

Have made several trial runs at a few different bars and restaurants. The results have been… a spectacular failure… squared.

I actually got away with three days of testing at one middle-class restaurant.
Tried IS-a in various concentrations, from 1 spray up to 3 sprays, combined with IH and/or P74, TAC, P83.

Tested on 3 waitresses and 1 waiter.

None of them noticed any difference with 1 spray, and they noticed no difference, or got LESS in tips with 2 and 3 sprays. Only one waitresses actually reported having a good evening with 2 sprays of IH and P83 + IH. - though she complained at the scent of P83. Said it smelt like urine or some other fecal matter. Had her try an evening with 3 sprays. She has yet to report on it.

Used A314 with combinations of P83, P74, IH, A-1, IS, on the male waiter.

Day 1 - A314 (2 drops) + P83 (12,5mcg) + IH + P74 (5mcg). - While he had no negative reactions, he did not saw any increase in tips. That might have been because he was not actively serving, but staying behind the bar. He thought he would have seen an improvement had he been actively serving.
Day 2 - A314 [1 drop - He looked older for his age (19) so I was afraid he might have gotten an overdose] + IS, A-1. I did warn him of the potential depression and told him to wash the A-1 in that case. He reported back that he had felt tired and could not concentrate the whole evening. Obviously enough, he did not wash the A-1 away. No increase in tips.

What’s your concentration of P74 & P83? (Maybe you can include those dosages in your signature, so when we see all your awesome reports, your dosages are a few spaces away)

A few things. She may have been ovulating, which increases her sense of smell. (Actually, there are a few timespans in a woman’s cycle that give her an extrasensory smell perception. This may be one of those times.)

What application points did you use? I recommend knuckles or hands.

There have also been reports of dosing bar napkins [with Shine] and leaving them in random places throughout a busy bar. That’s a fun experiment, though admittedly a bar napkin shouldn’t diffuse more than a living patch of skin.

We also did many tests with strippers on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood, CA, as well as plenty of field tests in strip bars across the USA. Depending on the application point, tips could raise anywhere from 2-20%. (Don’t quote me, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen those reports, but other citizen scientists are welcome to try this approach!)

Heisenberg theory goes something like, observed subjects change their behavior. Were you present the entire time, or was it a “set, forget and come back” affair? Pheromones always seem to work best when you apply and completely forget about the application, and then tally up the “strange occurences”, or even, in this case, tip amount, at the end of the night/testing session.

We have cringed at many an over enthusiastic news reporter using our stuff, who would apply, become overly conscious of their application, and rub their wrists in other people’s faces asking, “Are you attracted to me now? Are you? Are you?”

While I’m sure that’s not what your subjects are doing here in this experiment, I brought it up because it illustrates how your behaviors change when you’re conscious of a difference. It could be pheromones, new shoes, new hair, or anything. If you’re LOOKING for “hits”, and it crosses the line into “ok, you’re weird” territory, then the experiment is moot.

I wouldn’t call this run a spectacular failure squared – just a good first draft.

I actually have two different dosages. :stuck_out_tongue: However for the sake of this experiment I used a 12,5mcg ToGo of P83 and a 5mcg ToGo of P74. 1 spray on all occasions.

She might have been ovulating, she might not. I didn’t ask. :stuck_out_tongue: Though it should not affect the general outcome.

The ones who did not fare well sprayed it on their neck, and the secondaries on their hands. The one who fared better - and complained about the smell - sprayed only on her hands.

Must have been a large scale test if they could measure it with the accuracy of one percentile. :stuck_out_tongue: I believe the results could be far greater. They just might not work on everyone. If a waitress is lazy, ill-tempered, <Insert more negative traits here> then no amount of pheromones will increase her tips - or perhaps they are the likes who get 2% more. :stuck_out_tongue: Since then I have chosen my subjects more thoroughly, and have already seen some improvement. Too early to report in, though.

I was not present for much longer than the applying. You see, there are several potential girls there who might be interested in getting to know the user named Styr more intimately. Can’t afford to stalk around.

Most of them were sceptical - a few of them curious as to how I would come upon such an idea in the first place. :stuck_out_tongue: As such I doubt they were going around, asking the patrons for more tips for pheromone (I used the word exogenous hormones - not that most of them would remember it) covered service. :stuck_out_tongue:

I had the idea of using an aromatherapy lamp, but instead of adding essential oils to the water, using pheromones instead. P74, for example. While it does indeed smell nicely, I can not be certain, if the molecules survive the heat. Napkins would be an interesting alternative. Though I believe one would need a lot of them to increase the diffusion radius.

Well, it was, in that specific restaurant. However, I have more experience since then to carry out the tests. So you are right too, it is a good first draft.

A short recap:

Chose a new restaurant to start afresh. Results have been promising.

Have five test subjects so far, two of whom have gotten good results and some are yet to report.

One waitress had a good evening with:

  • IS-a X 2
  • P74 - 15mcg

The same waitress had a non-evening (no change, or slightly less in tips) with:

  • IS-a X 2
  • P74 - 15mcg
  • TAC - 30mcg

A second waitress had a very good evening with

  • IS-a X 2
  • P74 - 15mcg
  • TAC - 15mcg

You’re on the right track. Buy some medical alcohol swabs. Let the alcohol evaporate. The cloth substrate, a woven synthetic, is excellent. Think about the thermodynamics here. What does your knowledge of radiant and convective heat tell you should move the molecules from the substrate? Think about the Lava Lamp, electric stove, electric toaster or child’s Easy Bake oven. You want the material to be about 100 degrees. No flame. Passive diffusion is disappointing. P75 works. If my experiments are successful, I can build a unit of any size. Got the schematics.

Where and under what conditions have you experimented it? The water in the aromatherapy lamp is definitely under 100 degrees Celsius. Haven’t measured the temperature, though.

100 degrees F. Slightly above body temp. I suggest using a non-absorbent fiber (polyester or similar) vs. cotton or cellulose. The ideal testing environment would be about 100 sq feet, ceiling <= 12 ft. , mostly still air/ventilation, room temp. and moderate humidity. My current experiments use a different electrical technology. Use plain, mirrored glass, place fabric on it, spray 10-50 mcg phero thereon, place low-wattage incandescent bulb 1/8 " above fabric; effort heating fabric to 100 degrees F; place unit within coffee can to concentrate sillage.
