That dreaded 'stink smell' issue

Hey guys

I’m new to this forum and pheros. My eyes are hurting from reading over 1000+ pages. The biggest concern for me is the possility of B.O. from the pheromones and how to counteract that.

It seems theres some that cant smell the stink at all, but most of the people especially women seem to be able to smell the B.O.

I read that sweat has a lot to do with causing the stink. The sweat produces a perfect environment for the bacteria and the pheromones to mix. The sweat also increases the amount of bacteria on the skin, which means that the end product between the two interacting is B.O.

That is just annoying because I sweat ALOT. There must be some successful ways to counteract the so called ‘cat piss, ass, stinky underarm etc smell’.

One user recommends mixing cologne and the chosen pheromones (didnt state the dosages) and leaving it for like 2 days. Seems to have worked for him in ridding the stink.

Any ideas?? Anything that’s worked to counteract the stench?

Also, can cologne mask the bad smell? If so, do you spray it directly onto the applied area? or spray the cologne onto like a shirt and AMMO, TUTH etc onto the skin?

Will the Nols such as Instant shine work if sprayed on hair that has gel, wax or hairspray on it??

I was eagerly anticipating my first batch but now feel worried that all it will do is cause B.O. There must be a freakin solution to this…

First off, don’t worry too much - I’ve found the smell issue is not nearly as bad as some expect. And if someone is going to have a bad negative scent reaction, very little, incl strong cover scents is going to stop them. Most will smell far less, if they smell at all.

Secondly, many women are actually very turned-on by a bit of smell - “healthy sweat” as they tend to put it. Not the stale/unwashed variety of course.

Using pheros also encourages you to take a bit more care of yourself generally and if you apply them after a good wash/bath/shower, this will help stave-off the inevitable.

Choose your least sweaty areas for app points and go for a quick freshen-up/re-application as needed.

You can cover spray pheros with cologne no problem. Simply layer them on your skin give the pheros a couple of minutes before spraying the cover scent. Keep oil app points apart from sprays/colognes though. Don’t mix them in a bottle until you know what you are doing as that can be a complete waste.

Another thing that IME helps to reduce breakdown is to apply over a very light application of lotion and use the smallest amount you can get away with, also let it settle into your skin before spraying. My thinking is that the lanolin in the lotion helps form a barrier to bacteria for a while. There may be a slight penalty in diffusion range for this but I’ve found that quite acceptable.

Don’t spray pheros on clothing - For starters, many fibers are absorbent and not at all condusive to diffusion. Even where they are, you will still need a vastly increased dose - and it will still stink to high heaven eventually. Oh but that still hasn’t stopped quite a few women insisting on keeping/wearing my unwashed, phero-laden and quite frankly minging shirts as souvenirs!

IS/TAA is suitable for spraying on hair but be careful of applying anything containing none or that breaks down to none - This includes nols. Hair and none have quite an affinity and the none binds quite strongly and can get very stinky or contribute to OD, as well as needing a very good long hard scrub with plenty of soap and water to remove. Hair itself is also unpredictable for diffusion as it is quite a good insulator - Shorter hair is usually ok, longer hair with more volume tends not to get warm enough and wax/gel is no good as this also traps the mones.

I’ve actually had a girl tell me I smell really good while wearing ammo which is the stinkiest of the products I’ve tried, a lot of the socials just smell good.

OK a few more questions..

  1. Is it okay to spray cologne over Nol’s such as IS or it’s not necessary? I read that IS can have a funky smell couple of hours after application.

  2. If I boost my testesterone level will that lead to higher levels of pheromones?

  3. I read the application point guide. Because I sweat alot I will need to spray the products onto less sweaty areas. And that for me is the forearm and perhaps the elbow (outside part). Is it ok to spray none’s such as AMMO on left forearm and nol’s such as IS on right forearm? What about spraying IS over the same area I used AMMO on? Will it still be effective?

  4. In regards to using light lotion before applying the pheromones, what about using like a anti-bacterial product and then spraying on AMMO or TUTH over it. The theory behind that IMHO is that the anti-bacteria product will minimize the interaction between the pheromones and bacteria leading to lower chance of creating B.O. It’s just a guess but you reckon its worth a try?

And finally what’s the best way / product to get rid of pheromones from skin? How long in general does it take (days) for them to completely disappear?

ANy other advice from people thats faced the stink issue from pheromones will be much appreciated.

Just so you know Ishine is not nols. You dont have to cover it and generally the nols and Ishine dont turn funky like anone does. Maybe a little musty but not like piss.

No not necessarily. There are a lot of other variables to consider. All pheromones are not related to testosterone.

Sweat plays a part in the mones meshing with your natural signature. Its not sweaty parts of the body you need to worry about it dark damp, high bacteria ridden places like the pits and groin. Dont spray there and you will be fine.

You can try it but bacteria plays a role in diffusion. You dont want to get rid of all of it. Using a soap is fine but I wouldn’t spray my product right over a antibacterial lotion or gel.

Soap and water. Depending on which mones your using 4 to 8 hours for spray mones to totally be gone and 12 to 24 for oil based ones to be gone. Of course the actual carrier scent will linger sometimes but the mones are gone.

If you get it on you clothes washing them with oxiclean works fine.

If you think you have build up you can use witch hazel and a cotton ball to rub application points but generally soap and water does the trick for everyone.

I wouldn’t worry about stink issues until you actually have them. Most people don’t and while women have a better sense of smell then men its how they process the smell that matters. For instance what you perceive as smelling like piss doesnt smell pissy to us. I found that the only time the actual scent becomes an unpleasant is when its left on clothes for a period of time. Cloth holds onto the molecules and conversion occurs. Your skin is a natural diffuser so it wont hold them long enough for this conversion to occur.

Thanks for that.

I don’t mind a bit of musky fresh sweat smell. I’m sure that can easily be covered up. What Im worried about is the B.O. (urine stinky underam ass smelly socks) which everyone can relate to as B.O.

When I use the Search option on this forum, there seems to be a lot of threads complaining about the after smell of pheromones but no one really offers any real solutions. I understand some cant smell it, I understand it may not be that bad to others, I understand what is offensive to one may not be the same for others but surely someone must have some trick which counteracts the B.O.

In regards to using cologne as cover scent - would 1 spray of colgone be enough over 1 spray of lets say AMMO or A314? If I spray twice on both the left and right arms with AMMO, shall I spray once over each area? Is that the correct dosage or overkill??

Ok I know you see quite a few posts on BO. People tend to post more about complaints then the do when satisfied though. So for every one post you see of someone having scent issues there are hundreds of users who dont have that issue at all and just dont mention it on the forum. You got to keep it in perspective.

But if it makes you feel better here are some tips >>>

As I mentioned before,

Dont spray to the groin or pits. These places are dark warm and damp. There is no air circulation and bacteria which is what changes both our natural pheromones and synthetic ones (which do not smell when first secreted by the way) thrive in these areas and change mones into stinky messes.

Even if you sweat, let say on your back or chest a lot, there is more air circulation and you wont have as high of a count of bacteria present in these places.

If by chance you do have bacteria overgrowth then showering with antibacterial soap should do the trick and balance it out.

Do not spray to clothes. They tend to hold onto scent and the mone molecules so this gives bacteria more time to make them smelly.

Hair can be an issue, its absorbent like cloth and will hold onto the molecules longer but since its out in the open there is very little bacteria hanging out there.

You may not need to cover at all. Ammo comes in its own cologne. A314 is mild smelling at best. When I do cover I dont always cover the actual application spot. Your going to find that each person has there own method that works for them and there body chemistry and is dependant on which mone products they are using.

For instance anone may smell weird to you so you cover the anone products but something like Ishine doesn’t smell weird to you so you dont need to cover that. It may be the opposite for another user.

If you want total coverage though then spray to the chest and cover there. This way your not over scenting. The neroli used in the products does a good job at masking the smell.

This is a common worry people have when they first purchase mones when they are imagining what they smell like. Believe me thousands of people wouldn’t be using them if they smelled that bad.

Thanks for the advice.

Which of the products from the retail range are considered good diffusive scents?

Also, this has nothing to do with stinky smell issue but what’s the deal between this forum and PheroTruth?? Seems to be a lot of bitching going on back and forth.

There ain’t that many in the greater scheme of things. You are really making far too much of this and the best thing you can do is to wait till you have your pheros and see what real-life reactions you get. If they are bad as you fear, then AD have an excellent warranty and you won’t have lost-out by trying them.

Tisha has also given you superb advice to start you off.

To some extent, scent response is at least partly genetically determined and if someone has particular sensitivity to a particular phero (or group of pheros), it does become very hard to cover/offset as they will smell them through everything - Its an evolutionary thing. In my case it is P103 - I can only wear that for short time before it becomes overpoweringly stinky-cheesy to me but I still get fantastic hits on it, so obviously many other people don’t find it at all unpleasant.

Really, the best way to use a cover scent is just to use your normal dose and let the pheros key into that. Which should be good for a good few hours, unless you have an underlying odour problem, which can in some cases indicate a medical issue which can be treated.

Another thing you might find is that you sweat a whole lot less when wearing certain pheros - Sweating profusely in social situations can be a sign of underlying anxiety, which pheros can help smooth-out.

I was a bit concerned about the small of pheros before I started using them. The environment I live and work in, strong cologne is not appropriate and I really wasn’t keen on the idea of having to justify smells to people around me.

Since using mones, this stuff barely crosses my mind. The vast majority of people I’ve encountered don’t notice any smell at all, most of those that do don’t say anything either because they like it or they don’t care.

The only comments I have recieved (none of which were negative) relate to the alcohol evapourating off smell immediately after application. This is easy to avoid, because that small only lasts a few minutes.

To reiterate what everyone else has already said, REALLY don’t worry about, get stuck in & have fun.
