The Lore of Pherotalk

This probably should be in the Lounge section but I think it definitely qualifies as a “tip”.

It has come to my attention that there is SOOOO much more information on this site than we give credit for. I know many new users (and even us experienced ones) sometimes neglect the use of the “search” command. Well, I’ve been searching through this site and I am absolutely AMAZED at the things I’ve seen.

There were questions that I myself had been pondering for so long and found the answer too, I’ve seen mixes and combinations that were lost in time but are still as powerful now as they were then. I’v read about MX’s that are essentially LEGENDARY but have been long forgotten. Mixes like Chemical Romance, MX102 (the liquid A314), IFM. And I got a chance to read posts from some incredible people concerning these things like Phya, Madison Tate, Catlord, Gegogi, Phya, Denec, SteveO,Tisha, and many more.

I feel ashamed that I’ve neglected this wealth of information and haven’t been using it to its full potential. That is why I’m typing this, to encourage more new users to just sit back and do a search. You might discover things you never knew about, and find out things that may have been eluding you for a long time.

I love reading reports and insights from a lot of the community members who may not be as much of a part of the community now. The list of people you mentioned always have some amazing insights and have definitely provided some amazing contributions to this forum and community. It’s quite remarkable to see the journeys these members have taken and shared back with us.

Agreed. I have often found answers in this forum to questions I was just about to ask. Having a good look first has kept my post count low

Exactly. My post count would probably be damn near in the 1000s but I prefer researching extensively before asking a question. Plus as Reclipse pointed out, there are some legendary posters who have some valuable info to read.

It seems everyday I see the same posts asking the same questions except their usually about the consumer line. If it was about the putatives then I could understand that a little but even then a lot of these putatives have been rigorously tested (like P83 ).

Yeah exactly, I almost nerver need to ask a question because most things can be found. There is alot to read! But I am now seeing where there are some areas the more people could do things in…
