So ladies… we are introducing the MX135 with a grapefruit scent: the MX335!

What is MX335?

It’s been described as Marilyn Monroe in a bottle.

How to Test:
Spray like you would your usual cologne or perfume, on your usual pulse points.

This mix has been calibrated to work best at a two spray dosage. Start there but try everything.

We’re seeking to understand how the diffusion component works with the pheromonal molecule. At least once test with your usual cologne, so we can see how the diffusion technology we are testing works with cologne.

Spray. Let dry. Sniff. Does the smell remind you of anything? What do you notice yourself feeling?

What to Report:

We’re collecting data on a few parameters, which I’ll explain here.

Strength - How strong did you feel the effects? On yourself? On others? Did it hit you over the head, or was it more subtle?

Length of Effects - When did you notice the onset of effects? When did you notice the outset? When did it peak? When did it wane?

Tenacity- Tenacity refers to ?staying power?, or the aggressiveness of the cologne. Does it seem to “attack” people around you, or is it more of a “slow burner”? Does it seem like you can point your fume in one direction or another?

Effectiveness& Consistency- How effective is this mix on a scale of 1-10 (1 bad, 10 killer)? Have its effects been consistent over time?

Diffusion/Sillage- Sillage refers to your ?vapor trail?. Think of it like the wake of a ship. How many feet/meters is your vapor trail? Do people seem to follow your silage?

Other weird questions that help clarify:

If it were music, what would it sound like?
If it had a texture, what would it feel like?
If it were edible or drinkable, what would it taste like?
What celebrity or public figure is it most like?

Ask yourself these questions during and after you’ve gotten a good feel of this mix.

MX335 Review - Today BLEW my mind

Accidentally posted this to normal threads. So, I’m re-posting it here.

I wore each of the following alone for two days.

MX335 - 2 sprays to wrists, 1 spray to neck and chest. Husband followed me through the house and tried to talk my ears off. Three sons, (12, 17, 19) wouldn’t stay out of my room and also followed me around. They wanted to chatter about all the fun stuff in their lives. If you have teenager you will agree this is nothing less than amazing! :smiley:

TAH - 2 sprays (2.5 mcg/spray) to wrists, 1 spray to neck/chest, 1 spray to back of neck: Husband distracted, neglectful, slightly disrespectful.

TAL - 2 sprays (2.5 mcg/spray) to wrists, 1 spray to neck and chest, 1 spray to back of neck: Husband was not quite deferential, but he was definitely respectful and engaging, and wanting to cuddle at night. I think I like this one.

I also made up a new mix based on a couple of the ladies’ recipes for Pink Sugar and EOW or cops. I used Lust After Me, Pink Sugar, Vanilla extract and Grapefruit essential oil. I mixed 1 mL Lust After Me, 3 mL Pink Sugar, 1 mL Vanilla and 3 drops of the grapefruit essential oil. At first the mix smells a little like licorice but once on the skin and after dry down, it smells a little like a sugar cookie with wings. Planning on testing this mix soon, so stay tuned. :stuck_out_tongue:

MX335…huh…?

MX 335:

I was so excited that April made this in grapefruit for us!!! God knows I haven’t exactly been quiet in my dislike for the chocolatini and cookie scents of MX135 and MX235. I was really looking forward to being able to stand myself while wearing one of my favorite MX’s. Well, I’ve been at it for two weeks now and have been hedging making this report…in fact dreading it…especially 'cause everyone else who has it just seems to absolutely love it.

I usually use two-four sprays of MX135. So I started with two of MX335 and worked my way up to five.

I’m sad :frowning: to report it just ain’t workin’ for me. I mean a hugh disappointment. Certainly not at all what I was expecting. Believe me I understand about diffusion, and wasn’t expecting it to be quite as effective/diffusive as the choc or cookie scents. But I was expecting something. First it actually smells something like grapefruit…in the bottle…and for the first few seconds it’s on my skin. Then it morphs into a strong powdery floral something. :roll_eyes: Not only that, I’m getting no self reaction (nothing like MX135) except a slight headache, slightly elevated heart beat and a bit of irritation. :confused: aaaand…HOLY MOTHER OF GOD…no hits…not even from Wolfie. :open_mouth: Let me tell you how that man loves and responds to MX135. It’s a freakin’ grab fest…everytime! MX335…nada…sniff sniff…:frowning: It seems like a different MX altogether…and not a good one for me.

Anyways, it’s a bust. I hope they’ll eventually reissue the original MX135. As I’ve said many times before…I put up with the dislike of the chocolatini scent for the fabulous self-effects and responses I get. I’m afraid MX335 is now relegated to the back of the box…sigh.

Oh well, can’t win 'em all…

You are so right!!!

Everyone was really nice to me and I had a ton of flirting acting. My friend said I was driving the men crazy, LOL! I also sprayed some MX335 on my friend, saying it was aromatherapy. She also got hit on a lot! One band was trying to get us to dance on stage with them, but my mom would kill me if she saw my face in the local paper like that, so we sat declined.

Environment: outdoors @ 98F, inside large room @ 5000 sq. ft.
Effect on others: nothing specific, although many people were very friendly to me.

I bought MX 335 and skipped MX135 because of scent issues. If the chocolatini is as strong as everyone says it is, hubby will have trouble with the smell. So I opted for lighter scent and less diffusion, but that’s ok. Plus chocolatini sounds really heavy and cloying, and it is very hot here. Grapefruit sounded much more appealing.

Environment: inside gymnasium, temp @ 75F
Effect on others: Of the people that I was working with today, only one seemed genuinely affected by the MX335. Others were pleasant, but everyone seemed to have something weighing on their mind, and were very distracted.

This one guy started off as he always does, friendly and chatty, but nothing special. We worked along together for a while, and then I noticed a change. After about twenty minutes he started cracking jokes, making attempts to make me laugh. He went out of his way to get my attention, even to the point of making himself look ridiculous.

After about an hour of exposure he was downright silly. We were sorting sporting goods for storage, and impromptu games of keep-away, frisbee and all sorts of things started breaking out. Although this is a fun group, everyone seemed to be in a funk. But this one guy was determined to make things fun, and he kept looking at me for approval. Everytime he’d stir something up he’d glance over to see if I was paying attention and if it made me smile. If it did, he would continue. When I frowned or ignored him, he would quit and move on to something else.

I have to admit that it gave me a delicious feeling of power, to know that I could steer his behaviors simply by indicating amusement or disinterest.

After about an hour and a half he became very affectionate, wanted hugs and held on way longer than could be considered friendly. He would bump into me for no reason, find an excuse to press his arm or his hip against me.

I would say that MX335 is a definite winner.

Application: 3 sprays, one to backs of knees, two split between wrists and inner elbows
Self effects: none noticeable
Environment: outdoors at 4th of July parade, then indoors at party. Temp @ 95F outdoors and 75F at party
Effect on others: At first I thought I had exceeded my sweet spot, even though I’m not sure yet what that is for this product. I didn’t get any hits at all, not a thing from anyone.

Later on I realized that something unusual had happened. My daughter invited her friend to join us for the parade at the last minute. Her mother gave her permission without a thought and thanked me for taking her. Later on we were joined by two other children, one of which I didn’t even know, but was a friend of the little friend who was in our care. At one point I looked up and realized that I had 10 kids with me, of which only 5 were my own.

I’m wondering now if MX335 has sort of a pied piper effect on little ones. If so, I’m never wearing it again!!! :open_mouth: Just kidding.

I didn’t notice any responses from adults at all, not in either environment. I wonder if I ghosted.

Effect on others: We were setting up games and activity stations today, getting ready for an annual party that we put on for neighborhood children during the heat of summer. There was a lot of sorting and cleaning to do, as well as set up, because everything gets put away in a very haphazard manner afterwards. So next year we get to waste several hours organizing what should have been put away neatly last year. Grrr…that kind of nonsense makes me crazy! :frowning: But I’m not in charge, just a worker.

This is volunteer work for whoever wants it, and most people don’t want the hassle. So it was just myself and this fifteen year old kid who is doing a summer internship with us, kind of a work program. We worked along for about an hour without incident.

After an hour or so he starts getting very silly. Tossing nerf balls at me, hitting me in the head. Rolling balls around my feet, blowing soap bubbles at me, tossing superballs, whatever he had close to hand. He really made quite a mess, but it was all sort of endearing. I didn’t have the heart to call him out on it.

When he tried to start a foam noodle war I told him to knock it off. A gal can only get whacked in the head with foam just so many times… :roll_eyes:

I work with young people a lot, and I’ve noticed that they are much more brazen in their reponse to pheros than adults are. Children give pure reaction, because they don’t have the same social conditioning to make them ‘behave’ that adults do. Teens have more restrain in some ways, but their reactions are bigger, more noticeable, louder, more boisterous.

MX335… I think two sprays (to go size) is my limit. Good stuff, though, if you like getting beaten with a foam noodle.

Two days later.

Party combo Higher mx 335 dose. 7 sprays mx335.
Trip to the grocery store.

Women near me kept looking at the floor.
Guys were staring at me like I was a space alien.
Again with the people getting the hell out of my way which is always nice.

Boyfriend and girlfriend were ok to begin with but by the time we got to the store my boyfriend was arguementative and more snarky than usual.

I started getting pissed.
I’m fairly vicious verbally if i cut loose on someone so he ended up getting chewed out at the end of the night when it was time for the gf to go home.
4 minutes after I had applied the combo he was trying to pick a fight. so the whole grocery store thing was kinda tense.

Oh well lol I know my limit on mx335 now.

Oh the cashier looked at the floor when I talked to her and then proceeded to talk to my girlfriend who has a generally more bubbly\calming vibe on her own.

Also I’ve noticed when I wear copulins my gf and I tend to end up in a competitive stance for our boyfriend and neither of us is the type for that really.

So I tried the MX335 today… I could smell the grapefruit from the bottle and I liked it, but once I sprayed it on me it smelled like soap :confused: The soap smell seemed to die down then I just couldn’t really smell anything. I only used one spray. Anywho I am going to try it again with a couple sprays and see if I get the same smell and if so I will probably stick with the 135 or 235. I like how it smells through the bottle nozzle but once I spray it just smells like soap! I will definitely keep it though since it does die down to no smell. I will have to see what happens with more than one spray.

Interesting observation on the MX335.
I always thought it smelled directly like grapefruit. Pungent, fresh, almost bitingly grapefruit. And it makes me think pink, not yellow grapefruit, for some reason.
I never got the soap smell.

I have mixed and layered the grapefruit scented products with neroli ones, and just got brighter, fruitier neroli. Maybe that would work for you.

Hi Crew -

MX 135/235 scents whether chocolitini or cookie scent do not mix with our neroli scents…in fact I stink (I have been told) when I mix cookie with neroli.

Is it possible - if we can get an MX 135/235 pheromones with grapefruit or neroli or unscented.

That would be a HUGE hit in my book - and I would LOVE you all for the rest of my life!!!

I’m actually okay with the cookie scent and I had a good result with 235 that I did not know of untill today…I’ll post that in my journal!

So, is it likely we will test other scents of '35? Like, say, a grapefruit-vanilla MX335?

There is always possiblities on that. It depends on what MH whips up and wants to test.

I even heard rumors of a few more new scents in the making. Not necessarily for MX135 but for future mixes :wink:

I gotta admit so far Grapefruit is my favorite. I have been getting all my consumers done in that scent this year and it covers the copulins well.

omg. i had the most interesting night out. and here i was thinking that TAH doesnt work on me, ever.

ordered mx335, basically on impulse becuz i didnt do TOO well with mx135 nor mx235..

i thought mx335 might work better now since the smell would agree with me more. and i was right.

it was this bday party for this chick at a club. so i put on, 2 drops of eow, 4 sprays of mx335 and my hairserum which is spiked with eow :smiley:

basically, the guys are all over me.

guys ask me if i want this drink or that drink. if i dont like a drink, they wanted to trade with me because heavens forbid if im upset.

this guy i know, who basically i treat like an older brother saw me and said “wow. u look really really good. wow.” and turned to my old TG and said, “ur an idiot.”

i met this one guy who used to go to my college. he was with like 3 other guys and they started pushing each other so they can talk to me. i felt kind of awkward..

i danced up on a bar (ya..) and everybody wanted to take my pictures. eventually i felt bad because i was getting more attention than the bday girl.. so i decided to come down and 4 guys surrounded me, all trying to catch me. to be safe, i just let my older brother guy help me down. then one of the 4 guys come up to me and says “wait. is he ur boyfriend? if he’s not, how do you know him?” (this is one of the guys in the paragraph above pushing to get my attention :stuck_out_tongue: )

my old TG’s best friend kept trying to talk to me. he kept wanting to make sure i was warm and came up with some corny lines.. well i just felt weird cuz well. its his bestfriend, u know?

then this other guy, who btw ive known for a really long time, kept trying to hold my hand. at first, i was like “o whatever, we are good friends” but uh.. i dont think thats what he thought so i pulled back.

then everybody wanted to go to different parties and people kept asking me which party is the one that i wanted to go to. i was just like.. “uh.. i dont know.. and it doesnt matter to me..”

it was all good. so yes. i had an interesting night out and i’m really glad i gave this a try!
