What is MX399?

MX398 & MX399 are two mixes designed by John Sebastian to be work-safe & social.

MX399 - an experimental mix that is a blind test of a formula that we do not yet have results on. This formula is based on a need for reporting, so those of you guys who are reporting users or who aspire to be reporting users - this is the one for you!

Lightly fragranced with Neroli (orange blossom flower)

How to Test:

Spray like you would your usual cologne or perfume, on your usual pulse points.

This mix has been calibrated to work best at a two spray dosage. Start there but try everything.

We’re seeking to understand how the diffusion component works with the pheromonal molecule. At least once test with your usual cologne, so we can see how the diffusion technology we are testing works with cologne.

Spray. Let dry. Sniff. Does the smell remind you of anything? What do you notice yourself feeling?

What to Report:

We’re collecting data on a few parameters, which I’ll explain here.

Strength- How strong did you feel the effects? On yourself? On others? Did it hit you over the head, or was it more subtle?

Length of Effects - When did you notice the onset of effects? When did you notice the outset? When did it peak? When did it wane?

Tenacity - Tenacity refers to ?staying power?, or the aggressiveness of the cologne. Does it seem to “attack” people around you, or is it more of a “slow burner”? Does it seem like you can point your fume in one direction or another?

Effectiveness & Consistency - How effective is this mix on a scale of 1-10 (1 bad, 10 killer)? Have its effects been consistent over time?

Diffusion/Sillage - Sillage refers to your ?vapor trail?. Think of it like the wake of a ship. How many feet/meters is your vapor trail? Do people seem to follow your silage?

Other weird questions that help clarify:

If it were music, what would it sound like?
If it had a texture, what would it feel like?
If it were edible or drinkable, what would it taste like?
What celebrity or public figure is it most like?

Ask yourself these questions during and after you’ve gotten a good feel of this mix.

Haven’t contributed much to the forum in general, but I thought I would start with a report on MX399. It came a couple weeks ago and after some brief reading on the forum I figured I would give it a swing. It was a free sample I’m quite grateful for as I’ve rarely gotten as many IOIs with just one spray of something. It only came half-filled so I’m not sure how in-depth my initial testing will go. Anyway, here it is:

1st test:
1 spray to neck
Location: Subway, Shopping

As soon as I sprayed the MX399, I felt somewhat lighter in the head, like there wasn’t much weighing on my mind so to speak. I looked at the ingredients on the to-go bottle: something, fragrance, human musks. I burst out laughing immediately as this last ingredient reminded me of a line from Anchor Man when Champ tells Ron Burgundy “I miss your musk” - I guess I just chuckle at the mention of the word musk but this was out loud almost uncontrollable. Maybe a self-effect, maybe some TAA or P78 in the mix?

I walked out the door a few minutes later - cold here in Canada, so I put my coat and scarf on - and as I was walking down my driveway, a female neighbour (30 yrs approx) who never even looked up to glance at me was walking along the sidewalk in front of my place and gave me a full head-turn to dihl until I gave her a nod and smile to which she grinned ear to ear at me. Yes, I thought, this will be an interesting experiment.

Similar reactions punctuated my stroll through the mall. I noticed younger girls were taken with the mx, some dihl happening, but in general they shied once I was in their vicinity. To each that did glance over, I received much larger smiles than those I gave out… this is always a good indicator of a phero’s efficacy. And at one spray, I’m not sure if two would be an OD for me. As for women my age (30-35) I got a lot of girlfriends walking with their man giving me a controlled staredown, I don’t mess with those, just keep moving forward looking straight ahead. One girl I opened a door for was talking with her friend as she was coming out but interrupted herself, looked me deep in the yes and said “Thank you” then as she past the threshold she turned to look at me again and said “I mean thank you VERY much” I couldn’t help but smile and squint say “any time” as she gave me a wink and waved goodbye. I think I will up the game on the next test see how this demographic behaves in conversation.

One weird thing in the subway: every old lady and man I tried to offer my seat to refused it. They all gave me huge smiles, thanked me for the gesture, but in the end let me keep the seat . Alright, I thought, MX399 is not necessarily the ultimate chick-magnet mix, but its happy-go-lucky-and-approachable meets sensuous-and-mysterious-man vibe appears to be a pleaser for many who interact with it.

At first initial impression of this was that this might be P74 heavy.

I had an initial interaction with one of my co workers here and we were discussing normal business day to day and the numbers which tend to be pretty stressful. As well as we work together, sometimes there is tension in our conversations, and not because of what we think about each other but more of what we both have to accomplish. During the conversation it turned into a teamwork themed conversation and we collaborated to get what needed to be done so we can both make our bosses happy.

The second meeting I had today was with someone who works with with me for a product that we offer. Again, I have great rapport established with him but this time he was more weary of my time. We usually BS about the basic back and forth of what’s going on with the business and personal lives but he went straight to the point. It was like we’re cool, here’s what we need to do, and let’s get it done. After the meeting, he was going to be around the place I normally frequent and he invited me along for some drinks after work since he had to be around that area. I’ve known him for a good three plus years now and that’s the first time that it’s ever happened for a social call.

Third interaction was with a completely new person. I have to do some cleanup duty at work and make sure clients are taken care of because of a situation that happened. As we progressed in our meeting, the client was originally hesitant to open up and was guarded because he has never met me. I have great skill in calming people down, and I had no A314 on but MX399 helped me ease his concerns and possibly turn this issue into a sale, and essentially help him out that he will be in a better position after that meeting.

I’m also getting some trustworthy vibes with MX399. The new manager of that location I met, sat down with me and asked me on advice of how to properly teach her subordinates and took my suggestion to her boss and I now might have an even better opportunity, career wise because of how I performed the few times I was there.

I might also note I have the scent of A314 spray on my hands, but I’ve washed them several times and I don’t figure it was a factor in any of these interactions because of that reason. For purposes of the report I figured that should be mentioned.

Great report man. I don’t think those guys were gay necessarily just that you immediately gave them an authority vibe so they felt they had to go above and beyond to help you out especially since you had some good socials on with you.

Looks like MX399+ socials is great for younger women, and I’d LOVE to see what it’d do with ammo/tuth.

Btw…Does anyone know if MX399 has none in it?

I still get the P74 vibes to this mix as I met with the other clients/associates that I interacted with today. I remember specifically during my P74 testing that one of my associates reacted the same way when I was wearing P74 at a dosage of around 10-15 mcg. The mannerisms that she had and the double hand hand shake was more caring and more personal as the last few times we’ve spoken.

The first interaction I had was with a co worker that I have’t seen in a while. The space reducing buddy effect, is more of what I got from her. Normally her and I have been professional with just a handshake but I got one of those cheek to cheek kisses from her, again first time that it happened when we met. We’ve known each other for years now and it was almost rigid in the interactions that we’ve had, this time around it was like we’ve been friends for years and that the comfort is already there.

A client, well educated, well versed in my field first met me today. I haven’t had any contact with them and there was an issue that he needed taken care of, it was purely service that turned into a sale. In the end, before he left, he told me that in the times he’s been coming to the bank, no one has been able to explain to him his issue until today, he thanked me and I got a nice business opportunity from him.

Overall I really like how this plays with my work environment, the scent is very subtle, and not overpowering. When you speak to people, they listen. I found myself slowing down my speaking and really setting my inflection and tone that was conducive to the clients trusting and understanding what I’m trying to do for them.

I still haven’t read any of the MX399 reports yet. I could potentially be wrong in my testing and I’m catching the wrong vibes, so if you guys have tested it, I’d ask not to tell me how your reactions were, whether its for or against what I’ve encountered until I get some more of a baseline on this in social situations.

self test of mx399. i have to try it on me before i take it to the public. So i spray mx399 one time to the neck. I am loving this stuff. I am calm and collective and happy and driven. First try with this stuff and i clean my place up. but i am having fun cleaning, im jamming to some music and even dancing lol and i never dance and clean or anything like that lol.

ok so im in a pissy mood today so i spray io doesnt help like usually so i spray is and i am still so pissy but i go to school anyway. pissed off at the world. i come home and am still so pissy. So i say screw it one more spray i grab the mx399 and boom my whole attitude changes. I am driven again, calm and sorta in a bad mood still but not nearly like i was before. I debated do i do my homework that I am so far behind on or do i watch some movies. I can not believe homework won out on that battle. But i was driven and i figured i can do much more good and forget this mood i am in by doing homework. So 3 or 4 hrs later i caught up on my homework. I love mx399 :slight_smile:

today i figure i am going to do a true test of mx399. I spray it once on my neck and boom all driven again. I am all ready for school. I was going to finish up on that homework and get to class. But I see that girl ive been trying to hook up with and she is going to class. Apparently the classroom is empty way before our class starts. She is in a pissy and i mean pissy mood. She got into a physical fight with a girl at work and was told to leave. And here i am joking with her by pretend slapping her face. She is laughing and saying watch out. I notice a change in her within ten minutes of me sitting next to her. people start coming into class and we are talking to the whole class room. I convience one girl to come over and sit near us lol. everyone in class is laughing and talking and having a great time. I am like damn this stuff is powerful. the teacher comes in and we are all still talking, she tells us that the class behind us can hear us. and to keep it down and we continue lol. it was crazy but fun.

I just looked at my bottle and its half empty and i only sprayed it 3 tims…kinda sad about that right now. I want more of this stuff please keep making it lol. Ill do another classroom test tomorrow. I do feel sorta sleepy on it but other then that I feel that james bond feel, i am invincible and I am the Man!!!
