What is it about Ammo, Mx200 and attached women?
Last Thursday night:
Went out with a male friend to a comedy and karaoke gig which was hosted by a network organisation for which I rarely, if ever, attend their events.
I got out of my car after I’d applied a modest 1 spray of ammo from my togo bottle I carry it in. Walk down the street, get to the crossing to cross to the other side of road where the bar is. To my left is a young girl, obviously a student as there is a university nearby, she was carrying her books. Next thing I know is that whereas she was standing maybe 3 metres away from me at first, she has now moved to within a metre of me. We make simultaneous eye contact and we simultaneously smile at each other as the crossing goes green. I ask her where she’s going tonight as we cross the street, says she’s heading home. I invite her to join me and my friend at the bar across the street tonight, she smiles and giggles, but politely declines the offer.
Get in the bar and the female event host is ushering everyone into the very limited seating capacity in the venue for the second half of the comedy act. Turns out my friend and I arrived at half time, luckily for us, as we were soon to find out anyway, the comedy acts were crap. As I walk by the host, she taps me on the shoulder to get my attention and says something like “I’m sorry, you’ll have to find your seat”. Even though she was ushering people into their seats she was not as aggressive with anyone in the line ahead of me. I politely tell her “yes, if I can find a seat”. She bursts out laughing like I was telling her a joke. Was I one of the comedy acts tonight, perhaps? No, it only turned out that her aggresiveness with me was a way of flirting with me, whereas with others she was not.
I end up standing for over half an hour stuck with my back against the bar listening to some awful comedy. When the act was over, all the people from that network organisation make their way out to the main bar area, my mate and I do so as well. There is karaoke going on in the main part of the bar, and it’s very awful karaoke at best, I wish some people would take singing lessons before they attempt to get up on stage
. Before I look for a seat I head for the bathroom where I apply 3 more togo sprays of ammo, and 1 spray of MX200. I wait in the cubicle a few minutes to let the application dry down then go back up to the main area of the bar where I eventaully manage to squeeze myself into an akward seat. I’ve lost my mate at this stage - he’s nowhere to be seen. From my seat I scan the room looking to make eye contact with certain members of the opposite sex. Nada! Ok, so there I am having to sit through some awful karaoke my mate gone missing. A few groups of people around me, mostly all mixed, some girls on ther own. A bit more movement of people puts these 2 girls in front of me, who loooked like twins and probably were sisters. One has her side to me, the other her back. The one with her back to me I notice is slowly inching closer and closer to me in a matter of 20 seconds. Before I know it her ass is touching my knees then… ooops, she takes a seat… on my lap!!!
She looks around in shock and embarressment and her sister burst out laughing. She puts her arm on my shoulder and apologises admitting to me that she couldn’t believe she just took a seat on my lap without even knowing who I was. I smile at her and said something along the lines of “sitting on my lap costs $20.00.” and we all burst out laughing together, before she walks straight up to the guy who was also with them and says “I have no idea why I just sat on that random guy’s lap”. From the looks of things that guy was probably her boyfriend, if not at least they were attached in some way, that’s the dynamic they were giving off. She must’ve been so embarressed, but underneath I was chuckling so hard at this blatant ammo/MX200 hit.
Later I sopt my friend and get up and tell him about what happened. He couldn’t believe it. We were both at that point standing around listening to the karaoke when he starts talking to another 2 girls, one with a male friend, so he gets occupied with the other. After scanning the room a little more, I notice there a 2 very short but extremely cute girls who keep on standing near me everytime they walk past. This time one of them makes eye contact with me, and I make some small talk with her, but within less than a minute her other friend drags her away
. Later I witnessed those 2 cuteys up on stage doing probably THE WORST karaoke gig of the whole night, no singing, but yelling into the microphones.
It just goes to show you…
Tuesday night:
Went to a greenies meetup group in my local area, which was at a hotel/pub in town. I’ve always been interested in the environment and earth sustainability, and studied courses on this at university, so I have a fair bit in common with the members of this group. It was my first meeting with this group, so I knew nobody, but I went with my same mate who came with me to the comedy/karaoke night.
Turns out he’d been to one of these society meetings before, and he knew a group there, but I wasn’t really getting on with anyone in his circle there, so I decided to break away and do my own thing.
In the batroom I sprayed on 2 togo sprays of ammo, and 2 sprays of MX200, one of each to either side of my neck. Let it dry down in the batroom for a few minutes before walking back out into the beergarden area where the group was meeting. It was a fairly large gathering, maybe around 200 people, so it just felt like any other ordinary night at the pub. I was standing around and surveying the landscape when out of the blue an attactive young lady walks straight into me from behind and then smiles and apologises to me. Strange, becasue there was plenty of room around my left shoulder, so she certainly didn’t have to walk into me
. As she smiled at me and walked off I noticed she walked straight up to her male partner, then began animated conversation with him before kissing him on the lips.
I was feeling hungry all night as I hadn’t eaten before I’d left home. So I stood in the line for the bistro to order a hot bowl of pasta. A young girl behind me taps me on the forearm and asks if I’m waiting and if this is the line. I tell her it is, and ask her what she’s ordering, what she’d recommend, is she a regular etc, just the small fluff stuff. She is smiling, but looking very coy, and shyly smiling as she turns away from me. I can tell a woman’s interest when I see it, after all, they won’t start a conversation with you in the first place if they don’t have to. She stands next to me 5 minutes later as we were both waiting to claim our dinner orders, and we continue the conversation and I ask her if she drove or rode her bike here, and we got into a small conversation of what societies and groups we were both involved in. She tells me she’ll catch me later in the evening and we both go our separate ways. Maybe around 30 minutes later she’s back in my proximity, this time with a male friend, who from their body language it appears was with her for the night, possbily her boyfriend. She keeps galncing at me and smiling as she is listening to him speak at the table they were sitting on, which was right next to where I was standing. And again, 2 minutes before my mate and I left the venue she was once again caught looking over her shoulder and smiling at me while listening to something her boyfriend was telling her as they were ordering drinks at the bar.
In relation to my previous journal entry, sadly the arrangement to meet with the former Miss World Australia finalist is yet to be arranged, but this may happen soon when the busy couple who I was out with last time actually arrange a get-together meetup again.
