I think if your not congruent with your signature, lets say have something on that makes you seem alpha but stand quietly in a corner with your head down. Someone may associate that signature with someone else. Or if you walk by people talking amongst themselves without making it known its your signature they may associate it with something other then yourself.
For the most part if I have something on that calls attention to me, people usually know it me when they see me… I am what my signature tells them, I’m congruent to the point that when I put pheromones on its merely an extension of myself and my mood that day. Amplifying my essence.
Typical effective operating range for pheros is up to about two meters. A bit mre in a hot/humid situation where diffusion is faster and less in a cold/breezy place.
There is some debate on scent properties also affecting range - Certain scents produce an even sphere of diffusion, whilst others seem to have trailing qualities. Which may also affect range a bit. Outdoors, diffuson is least.
I tend to try and judge the airflow in any situation and try to keep myself upwind of any target in order to maximise diffusion.
Twisted Ostritch is bang-on about congruency. If you are not, you may get a burst of initial interest but if you don’t capitalise on it with appropriate expression of your personality, further attractive behaviours, the interest will soon wane.
And yes, after all that, pheros do work better the closer you get - Many of us can attest to changes in passionate behaviour and/or partners gravitating passionately towards our app points in bed. Of course this does not mean it is appropriate/good strategy to go for for gross intrusion of personal space from the word go. 
So basically: the pheromone works for up to two meters, and then it’s chance what girl (or girls) get affected by it?
Is this understanding of mine above correct ?
Also, the girl (or girls) that get affected by the pheromone cloud, do they instantly know who they are supposed to be checking out ??? (I’m very much referring here to the videos featured in the post that I mentioned above (the one where the guy videotapes reactions)
Well, TwistedOstrich kinda already answered your question. I’ll try and rephrase it and add anything I can.
Pheromones will make people subconsciously feel something. It can be attraction, happiness, trust, respect, anything really. A lot of times, people really won’t realize why they are acting the way they are until they actually step into a different situation and reflect on what previously happened.
Think about it this way:
Have you ever felt really attracted to a girl, but when you show pictures of her to other people, she just doesn’t really look all that good-looking? Pheromones.
Have you ever, for some reason, felt intimidated by someone, but when you looked back, realized he/she really wasn’t that big/strong/whatever? Pheromones.
Have you ever felt the urge to give special treatment to someone, because you respect them or think that they deserve better treatment? Pheromones.
When someone is getting affected by the mones, they often won’t realize it, but they will act on it. Now, I’m not saying that the girl you were attracted to, the guy you were intimidated by, or the person you held the door open for was using artificial mones… but they were all creating and releasing their own natural pheromones. And YOU were being affected by it.
There are a ton of threads on congruency, so I’ll let you search for that. But, I will provide you with an example.
Think about this situation: Say you saw some big, famous movie actor walking around one day. Say he’s wearing a 10K suit, and a pair of designer shades. You would immediately go “Oh WOW, look at this guy” in your head right? Now what if when he opened his mouth, he spoke in a really soft voice. What if he let everyone walk over him, or if he was following someone else. What would you think?
The product I had in mind here is A314. The oil will put on that suit and shades. But, it’s up to YOU to finish off that style with killer confidence and real alpha behavior.

Now for your last question.. will your target know it’s you..
When a girl walks by that washed her hair with cucumber smelling shampoo and has on some fruity body spray, do you notice? Yes, you do. Do you realize it’s her? Yes you do.
Now, that really only applied to colognes/perfumes/anything that smells. Pheromones themselves don’t really smell. (They do, but that’s another story.) Like I said before, people will get that subconscious feeling that they initially associate with you. However, even the slightest disagreement in voice, tonality, or body language can throw that off and cause your target to be confused.
This doesn’t mean that you have to be perfect, or the mones will fail. However, if you do manage to BE the sexy man on the inside, the AMMO will take care of the rest. If you BE the alpha with killer confidence, the A314 will really shine. If you.. I can’t really think of a third example off the top of my head lol.
I realize I’ve gone on for quite a while, and I apologize for answering all of your questions with more questions. That’s just how I roll..

Nope the answer to my question has been summed up pretty nicely; especially on the spycam-thread, whereas one poster commented on that one girl was most likely very anxious because she’s watching the price on the till going up … the three videos that have been posted there so far very much seemed to me to very common ioi’s …nothing else and nothing more.
However, I’ll put my two remaining questions in one :
Are hits = indicators of interest (in “pua lingo”) and deer-in-headlights look=about a 2-3 second stare ?
Yes, a hit is when someone gives you an IOI.
The DIHL look lasts longer than a normal quick glance, but don’t think that if she doesn’t look at you for 3 seconds, then it wasn’t a DIHL look. I tend to think of it as when she looks at you full-on, as opposed to out of the corner of her eye. Then when you look at her, the longer she takes to look away, the more stunned she is.
They can be an awful lot more than that TBH. And it also depends on any social aspect of a mix. Ranging through looks, touch, sudden interest in involving you, hovering about you, following in your wake, sudden grand comments, greatly upping your status etc.

I’ve been ordering from AD for the past two years, and they’ve been nothing but a stand up company. Sure the issue with the Togo bottles sucks, but they’re working on fixing that and progress takes time. When I first started experimenting with mones I had my doubts. The first few times that I tried IS and IH I felt jipped because “I didn’t think they were working”. In hindsight I realized that I just had some dramatic over expectations and I didn’t have my eyes open wide enough to fully grasp what was going on. I think the key thing to remember is that mones are the icing on the cake. Without the right amount of icing on the cake no one is going to want to buy it.
