Well, it is my luck… I’m always having so much fun on my birthday! 
Today I’m going in to surgery on my throat and stomach this morning early. It is not supposed to be so much of a complicated procedure, more exploratory than anything. But I am a big weenie any time I go under anesthesia. And I’m entering the big unknown. So, I’m asking for your well-wishes today and your prayers (if you are so inclined).

Surgery on your birthday? That sucks. I know, it’s happened to me too. On my twenty-fourth birthday, I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy.
Yeah, that was fun.

Well ouch, I am sorry you have to spend you Birthday this way. I am not sure whats wrong but if it helps you it will be worth it and you can have a all out blast your next Birthday.
I know your not to fond of me but I really do wish you well and hope all go’s perfectly for you. I know you must be nervous but your a strong women and have your husbands and kids support and you can get through this. Its when times are hardest that we find our strength.

I’m back from surgery and everything went well. I’m still drugged up a bit and woke in the middle of a horrendous thunderstorm.
