Gentleman. Allow me to put an end to this. This is a trading post, not a means to extort people for money because you have something that is rare. It results in immediate banning. I suggest you are fair with prices and as of right now I have removed unfair pricing. Please consider this a “friendly” reminder.

Fair enough. I’m very sorry. I wasn’t aware that this thread had the rules of a socialist market economy. Maybe you should add that to the origional post before accusing someone of attempting to “extort people for money”. Just so you know, $35 for a to-go bottle of a rare product is inexpensive compared to what other members have posted, and what I have paid at least one other member so far. If someone is willing to pay for something, it has always been my understanding that they have the right to buy it, at least in the United States. Androtics charges around $28 for a to-go bottle of a MX, yet $14 to users that report. Which is fine, except when I got my reporting user status, I had been a reporter for a long time, and if I remember correctly, you, Steve, told me that you thought I was already a Reporting user when I become one. The fact is you did not remove unfair pricing, you simply removed products that people would have bought from me instead of AD. If you would have just asked me to delete it for that reason, I would have gladly done so. Don’t accuse people of things that have no grounds.
I will follow your unposted ‘rule’ though, and do what you have said. It’s not for sale anymore, because steve doesn’t want it to be.
Just going to throw in my two cents and then I’m out. Dude, I bought OA’s version of mx301 at 10ml for more than 20 bucks( I won’t say the exact price out of respect for OA). It’s a product that’s in very high demand and not being made, so he had to make it from scratch. You’re offering a product that’s still being sold but in a different scent package. Also it’s not being made by you, you’re just separating it. Reasonable pricing would be to charge around what AD charges for a to go of ammo. If you were making it from scratch, I could see the justification for such a price. Steve isn’t telling you to stop selling it, just be more reasonable. Hey, I have a to go bottle of p96 and that’s out of stock again. I have no intention of selling it but if I did, I would sell it at the price I paid for it. Pretty simple.
Well I bought a bottle of MX339 from someone for $35. I later bought a bottle of MX353 from someone for $45.
Ends don’t justify the means.
It just puts a bad taste in your mouth that someone would sell that for almost a 300% premium over selling price.
MX’s are typically $28 and even if you took those examples, you’re still way overcharging.
Steve, IMO is just looking out for the rest of the people here who might just not know better.
Even with OA’s mix of MX301, it was a heck of a lot cheaper then mixing it myself.
No one said you shouldn’t sell it, but 250% is ridiculous and yeah its extortion.
I have had several complaints from the members of the community saying such. So your post was removed. I’ll re-add your post because quite honestly I thought maybe you would just re-add at a fair price instead of throwing weak accusations.
Last I checked Androtics owns this forum and the reporting user status you wave in my face, is administered by me and is a privilege not a right. Since you brought it up, I will just remind you, that its based on quality of posts as well as HELPING the community at large. Just something to consider.
If I hadn’t already paid upwards of $35 for something rare, I wouldn’t be asking for it. If that many people on this forum don’t want me selling it for that much, all they had to do was tell me that they don’t think it’s fair, and then tell me what they would be willing to pay for it. I’m an easy-going guy, until people start accusing me of stuff that I wouldn’t be caught dead doing. Steve let me ask you this, would $25 be a better price? Maybe $20? Duuuuuuude! Just send me a freaking PM next time! I’m not trying to rip people off and if people think my price is unfair, going behind my back and acting like they have me all figured out isn’t the intelligent thing to do. I thought $35 was fair because that was my experience with buying stuff on the trading post. Heck, maybe I was ripped off! We could work this out! No need to say I’m exhorting people for $, because that clearly wasn’t my intention.
Let me just chime in for a second. There were no other posts of unfair pricing. The only products that were listed in this thread were with NEGOTIABLE or UNLISTED pricing. Many of the offers that were submitted were by members and not by the listing seller/trader.
It’s not fair to Androtics by you waiving your reporting user status in their face because you are listing your item on THEIR forum and all profit made is going to YOU. Be reasonable.
P.S. If I remember correctly, you were “Mr. $50 for your MX353”. once again YOUR offer to the seller.
Actually if you read the post it was waived in my face, not the other way around. I reminded him of that. Maybe it is YOU who should be reasonable!

Not one person in this discussion has said a single word about the fact that other members have charged me and I paid their price in upwards of $35 for togo bottles of rare stuff. So I guess you don’t really have anything to say about that. Just a bunch of jealous people that can’t stand the fact that I have game scented ammo.

I respect and understand that RU status is a prilvedge and not a right. And I am totally in allignment with it. It’s not the least little worry on my mind, I’m happy with the way things went. I was merely using that as the best example I could think of at the time to contend with your accusation.

The difference, which I think is where the confusion is coming from, is that you posted it publicly. Yes when things happen behind the scope of an open forum thread, you face more scrutiny on it.
Moreover, if it is done in PM/Privately then no one knows about it. It is beyond the scope that the moderators of this forum can monitor it, therefore your assumption that no one seems to care what happened to you isn’t because no one cares, but because no one saw it happening in front of the entire community.
If this keeps going on and problem keeps coming from this, you may see AD just say hey this is too much of a problem and no trading on the forums, then what are you going to do? I don’t speak for them but I’ve seen it enough times that things get abused and essentially taken away, too many members benefit from these kinds of threads. Sorry you got taken for a ride, but quite frankly you should have known better.

But honestly, I didn’t think I was being ripped off. I liked what I was buying and thought it was a fair price. Maybe that’s where all the confusion comes from. I will admit, though, I’m a little bit careless when it comes to money right now, since I don’t have bills or anything. Who knows! Maybe I ought to learn a lesson from you all and start saving and valuing money more.
Anyway ya’all, how does $20 + shipping sound for a to go of game scented ammo? I’ll give ya two bottles of ammo for 1 bottle of p93. And if you want, and you tell me of your intentions before I sell any, i’ll just give u the full bottle of ammo for your full or almost full bottle of p93
