“Recycling” to further the cause?
I’ve noticed that there are a few users here (normally the more experienced and informed users) that have a complete arsenal of pheromones at their disposal. However, sometimes I read comments such as “A314 did nothing for me”, “IFM was a complete bust”, “MX292 was a disappointment”, etc. Now, for the majority, those (and others I didn’t mention) products work beautifully or at least noticeably. Maybe that particular user already naturally puts out enough of those particular pheromones, or is not in an ideal situation to get maximum effect from them, the conditions are endless.
Bottom line, bottles are sitting on a shelf somewhere getting no love at all.
Why not recycle?
Some of these products sell out as fast as Androtics can manufacture them (IFM, MX292, etc.), some are only available in sets (Raw Power, etc.), either way, they’re just gathering dust. The person that has them is no longer reporting on the effects, because they don’t work or the person doesn’t care for the effects, therefore Androtics is not getting any more input on what might be a quality product for someone else.
I am NOT trying to undermine Androtics. They are a wonderful company doing a fantastic job of furthering the science of pheromones and have great people on staff. I have no intention of wanting to take any money away from them. But if a product isn’t available, it isn’t selling anyway, and important research is being wasted.
The solution?

Find someone on here that wants what you don’t. Trust me, the demand will far outshine the supply.

Start “blind testing”. If you have several bottles of pheromones that you don’t care for, especially if they’re travel size, rip off the labels, number them, MAKE SURE to write down which number relates to which product, and then send a few out to different members to try them out with no knowledge of what they’re supposed to do. After they’ve tried and posted their observations, reveal what products they had. This way there’s no preset expectations. Even with the “MX” line normally people read here and get an idea of what is to be expected. Blind testing is the ultimate test of hits. But be merciful and make sure that the right gender and sexual preference is testing the product. I’d hate to be testing a product that makes me a magnet for the wrong gender preference.
I’m not sure that I’d recommend selling the product, since it is “used”, but the reciever should at least pick up the tab for shipping. A postage-paid padded envelope isn’t that much. And if the person doesn’t post the results, then they don’t get any more love down the line.
If these are awful ideas, let me know, but I hate to see good pheromones go to waste.
Also, almost any idea can be refined, so suggestions are welcome as well.
