Trading Post: (Buy-Sell-Trade) PheroTalk Members Pheromone Market

No there isnt

IFM is like the new 292

I figured that the guarantee would affect this idea, but there are a lot of people that A: don’t want to be bothered with the whole return business, B: are just too lazy to bother , or C: figure that the product DOES work, just not for them, so it wouldn’t be right to make Androtics refund the money.

Also, I would understand buying a bottle of the “expensive stuff”. I just wouldn’t pay full price…

And besides, this way is just a lot more fun!

It was just something to consider that’s all .

But it worked before for others so good luck.

I will be moving this down to the lounge though as it really doesn’t belong in the mens section :stuck_out_tongue:

Its a nice ideal for non refundable products but most people return the consumer products that don’t work for them so they can get credit to try something that will work for them.

Sometimes the users just needs guidance to get the mone to work because they are not using it correctly as well and when they return a product they can get that guidance from Steve or Mick.

Something that doesn’t work?

I’m gonna send him something I know works, just so I can watch 'em squirm!

Let’s see if he can talk his way out of this one. lol

OoohYahhh

Just for the record, I never said that the pheromones that I have (TUTH and IS) don’t work. Matter of fact, the IS works too well…and I haven’t had an opportune time to try the TUTH. Just found out how easy it was to OD on it!:o

But hey, I’m open to challenges and new experiences, and these are experimental research tools, look out world!

There are two possible points of view : 1.trade 2.research.

1.Trade - If it doesn’t work for you, you can use the 365 guarantee or try to sell it, so that you can get some money back to buy other products for yourself.

  1. Research - If it doesn’t work for you, you can give it to someone you know and who might need it, or just for fun, so that you can see their reactions and hear their stories of what happened to them and so on when wearing the fragrance you gave them. Of course, I wouldn’t tell a friend : “try this, it’s pheromones, this is the effect it’s supposed to do” but rather “hey I got a free sample of a perfume I forgot the name but I don’t really like it. Try it and see if you and other people like it”.

It’s a choice.

There is also another solution for making relative and friends “unaware reporters” and using products that work or don’t work for yourself, all that for research. But as a magician, I’m keeping this solution still private before reporting in The Magic Journal.

I thought about true “blind testing”, the only drawback is most people would only mention if someone told them they smelled good, they wouldn’t know a bona fide hit. Plus, some products like TUTH aren’t as strong as, say, my Armani Code, so some people would spray on four or more sprays purely for scent value only to OD and have negative reactions. Then, since they didn’t know it was pheromones, they’d just assume that they ran into a lot of bitches that night.

Now, giving someone a product and telling them it’s “Neuroinfluence Technology” (which is what is labeled on my bottle of Shine) would allow you to get good feedback from them without letting them know what it’s “supposed” to do.

The people here, for the most part, know how to spot a legitimate hit. They understand the concept and usage of pheromones. That’s why a lot of people here buy the new experimentals when they first come out with no idea what to expect from them. Part of the fun, as it were.

I must say that I have been severely tempted to give my nephew that still owes me $600 a bottle of unlabeled Mystery Boy…he’s a major homophobe. Teach him two lessons at once!

Actually, there is a blind testing going on at this very moment. If you look in the Women’s Section, in Women’s Journal’s, the thread is Three Blind Mice!

Now why was this thread all buried, when it really should be a sticky anyway???

One of the girls doing the blind testing had it posted in her signature, that’s part of what gave me the inspiration for this post.

Until I’m down to my last hundred milliliters, I’m not going to worry about what I have for myself. I’m glad to give it away to deserving ambitious people willing to take this research into enviroments I would never have access to. Willing, ambitious people with at least some experience and an interest in studying the volumes of material we have already accumulated and then blind test an unknown chemical. And for none of this to happen to a lone researcher locked in a sterile laboratory, but real world experience with constant, around the clock, access to a supportive community like this.

Doesn’t that describe what Androtics is about?

Giving pheromones to folks who have no idea that they are holding a largely untested and unknown synthetic chemical intended to influence behavior, theirs and the people around them, … Let’s just say, the public does not react well to the unknown.

Of course you wouldn’t tell them “try this. It’s pheromones” They’d back away from you making the sign of the cross. I’ve tried that with a couple of my friends. The best reaction I got was disinterest.

If the balance is toward research more than fun, then we need people motivated to actively test, carefully observe, and report results. People who have at least some idea of the subtlety of behaviour influence and perhaps most important, immediate access to the information and support of a community like this.

Again, isn’t that the Androtics way? I don’t understand the lack of support, and even an active cold shoulder this idea has from our administration. This kind of cooperative blind testing exemplifies what this community and Androtics are about.

Sounds pretty neat. Hope you can reprint here. I’ll be looking forward to it.

You know by now that the three of you, collectively and individually are an inspiration to great many of us. You certainly helped to create this idea.

OoohYahhhh!

where is this trade thread people are talking about ?

Right here!

Its right in this Lounge section…a little earlier, I went and dug it out, and bumped it back up so we could find it.

Here’s the trading post

Until today, it had not had any entries since last August.

OoohYahhh

WANTED (to trade or buy): EST, Instant Female Magic, and Spaceland

Please let me know what you want to try, and if I have some, I’ll send it to you. Otherwise, name your price

Well, I’m more than willing to do the research, because it is fun. If the research was something dry and boring, like asking people if they preferred one color of paint to another, then I’d be out of here. But this is interacting with people, attracting potentially new friends, meeting new friends here, comparing notes on different effects and finding products that actually work for us to either improve our situations (like my situation with my wife), overcome shyness, or help attract the girl (or guy) that someday may become that special relationship.

I believe that pheromones work. Bottom line. I’ve met women that honestly weren’t that attractive and really didn’t have that great a personality, but guys were always hitting on them. Now, some women’s personalities far overcome any “flaws” they may have, and I love women with a great personality. But if they don’t have looks or personality going for them, and they’re not an “easy lay”, then pheromones could very well be the answer. I’ve met attractive people, both men and women, that couldn’t get a date at all. Sometimes it was lack of confidence, bad approach or something intangible. Now products are available that can not only make you more attractive to the people you’re interested in or want to impress, but these same kind of products can give YOU the little boost in confidence or attitude to actually be able to interact.

Is it the “miracle cure”? No. There’s a lot more to being an attractive person than a smell (consious or unconsious). But it does help, and has been proven here time and time again.

This is still a “baby” science. A lot more research is needed, and we’re it.

A lot of guys come here looking for something to make women horny, aren’t willing to try different things and follow directions, give up and go away.

Fantastic! The sooner they realize that some fancy “cologne” doesn’t make prize catches out of complete losers, the better. Most of them are looking for an easy one night stand anyway, believe women are there to be used, and we’re better off without them.

I’ve had ONE one-night stand, didn’t like how it made me feel, learned from my mistake and moved on to better things.

I’m actually very impressed with the people that have used these products to improve their position at work, get a better job, interact better with their families and just meet new people. While that’s probably not as “marketable” as a “get women hot” product, in the long run it’s far more beneficial.

All that being said, I’m still looking forward to getting a bottle of IFM.
