I’ve been weighing out the odds for some time to make an order when UF3 comes or Immediately. I missed buying UF2 by one day so since then I’ve been saying hi to new users for 5 months, so I saved up some points. I’m sure theres a few others like me that make big orders but have to decide when…
In terms of a time line we don’t know if they have what they need to make UF3 or how long it will take to get that. One variable we do know is what MX of the freebies they are at. I’m assuming they plan to finish that test before moving on.
Now of course if I wait maybe some interesting things would be restocked. Some things I’ve waited a year and a bit, who knows
Now on the other hand I’ve noticed a lot less actively on the forum. No more live updates for a few weeks, days without appearance from various people. A price increase and no comments since. A mysterious sale just before the price increase. A few posts with reference to upsets from competitors. It could be that the holidays are here…
Likewise there are still some interesting Putatives in stock that I could survive off of for some time
Whats everyones take on this, buy now or hold on till later…
shrugs Until we get a clearer picture as to what’s going on, I would wait. “If” they do release UF3 (I say if only because with these black outs, I’m wondering if they even have the the molecules in stock), I would want to jump on that. Normally I would say go test some of the putatives but what’s to say that if you find one that kicks ass, that all the sudden, they run out of that one too. :-/
The point I’m making Pago is if they’re having such an issue with supply, I don’t see the reason to test molecules if it’s going to go out of stock. I was all excited to keep on testing p97 but that’s gone so I’m not letting what little that I have left, go to waste.
EDIT: Alpha’s got a point, if a314 works for ya, I say go for that. it’s good stuff
Yeah theres definitely things still left to buy in the store I have my eye on… I’d hate for them to go out of stock too and have no re-stock or UF for a long period of time..
But then I have to wonder if they don’t restock for a long period of time how will they survive. So a restock must be coming… I remember seeing in Tisha’s last posts that she thought next year will be a good year for AD… Wonder if shes caught onto something or privy to info we are not.
And yes its disappointing to test something then to rarely or never have it come back in stock but its still fun to have and it could be the last chance to get some of these things if thats the case!
What’s disheartening, as Pago mentioned, is the testing of molecules such as P130 or P74 which you have some excellent poster’s pouring their all into getting a concise view of what the P does and then have the molecule supply dry up. When no further interest is generated… well, discouraging for sure.
Now, I like to think that the history of the testing with these P’s and MX’s should be at the very least stored away and kept for future comparison. I look at these like software release cycles. Our testing of P’s and combinations of P’s are in the ‘Alpha’ product phase. If an MX, which I consider like a ‘Beta’ product phase, has some excellent properties and has, not only a wide gamut of testing, but includes a deep understanding of it’s reactions in its testing phase as well, why not bring it to a ‘Release Candidate’ status or a Version 1 of the final product?
Being in perpetual Beta testing is frustrating and baffling if the MX that had so much promise, just poofs from existence.
Though I can see mones working in a wide variety of social settings, what many times get’s guys and gals wallets opening initially is the sexual connotations ‘normally’ associated with mones. Something like the ICM line for the guys or MX397 for the gals would get old user’s blood boiling (in a good way! ) as well as frothing of the new user’s mouths’.
If ICM 2 or 3, which is composed of ‘plentiful’ or in stock molecules at the time, going through the thought processes and testing to get some excellent reactions to it’s composition, tweaking again, and then NOT having it available because of an X or Y molecule that’s now gone… not only disheartening, but frustrating!
My suggestion to T.O. was to have a stock of you’re ‘special’ molecules. I try to keep at least a 6 month supply of what tickles my fancy. I like IH, but, I can make do without it. IG is a good one as well, though, I will prefer A314+IShine to it, if I had a choice.
Really no comment to make. There’s a molecule “shortage” and no end in sight. I am in the same boat as everyone else. I’m holding onto anything I have an like. I don’t feel its in the best interest to report on a favorite molecule anymore. Why? So it dries up and once again we are left spending money for research that seems to just exacerbate the issue.
I’m wondering where everyone disappeared to as well.
I understand it’s frustrating for people to spend time writing reports about molecules or products that are either discontinued, or in shortage for an unknown time. But it’s also frustrating for people to read them knowing that, anyway, they can’t get them.
It’s just sad and annoying for anyone.
About holding onto what you like, I hope you won’t get the same experience than me. Last year, in March or April 2010, when there was that big shortage, I presiously hold onto the MXs and molecules I had (think it was MX297, P74, MX301) and recently, I checked them before using them…but almost everything in the MX297 and MX301 bottles has just…evaporated ! I wish I knew it before !
True regardless of reporting feedback I don’t mind posting things that come of interest if anyones cares to read… but I guess it comes down to will AD need us to test UF3 anytime soon or should I make due with whats in the store right now as it may not get any better…
I guess its more risk adverse to deal with what is known rather then the unknown
Its also becoming a major problem to buy even the known stuff. $120 for a bottle of IH when it used to cost 40-50??? That’s an insult to everyone, not just the new memberz or the RUs. I know steve and mick have said they would work with us and i give them so much credit doing what they can with what they have to work with but we havent heard from michael, jasmin or John. Regardlezs of personal issues that they have had, they cant leave us sitting in the dark with no reasonable or logical explanation for these bizarre business tactics. Dont get me wrong, AD has been a huge help to me and i am very grateful, their products work. But when the powers that be vanish, to me thats a sign that they dont know what to do and are scrambling to salvage a situation or they are scared to admit that things arent going well.
I think that for a lot of us that have put so muchtime and money into this company, it’s time for an explanation, one based on truth and reason.
Don’t take it personal, but I’m afraid … THAT’S JUST SHOW BUSINESS.
If the ingredients are and have been becoming EXTINCT … WE should have noted the signed that it PROBABLY won’t get any better. COULD this be signs of the LAST HURRAH?
Yeah it doesn’t look good, you know what sucks is, if this company ever goes under, we’d all lose contact with each other, and a lot of you I consider friends, which would be sad. It’s partially the reason I still maintain an account at the other PT.
