Yup - start low and work-up with the A314, give it a few days between each step too.
A314 oil can take a bit longer to get the hang-of compared to other products due to its complex, subtle and wide ranging nature. I reckon I took about a month to get comfortable around it at work and it still occasionally surprises me with the occasional new facet a couple of years later!
