Washing out pheromones from the clothes

I am a little bit worried about some threads which reports that pheromones applied on clothes behave very sticky and are present even several washings.

Therefore I have looked about “oxyclean” - a detergent which reportedly wash out all smells.

Unfortunately I have not found the “oxyclean” in the shops around me, but a similar named “Vanish oxy action” which contains “anionic tenside” to clean the clothes.

The manufacturer advertise that this product do wash out all stains from the clothes but it is nothing said that it wash out bad smells too. There were different products for choice (powder, gel, liquid…) , but each states that it do “wash out stains” and no any states that is wash out smells :frowning:

Or is the consequential for the ability to washing out stains that it are able to wash out smells too?

I would gladly test this with my nose whether it does work or not but unfortunately I am not able to smell pheromones even in higher dosages and that I use pheromones is a top secret

So I am would be very glad if anybody could help me in this matter.
Thank you in advance

Good question

As long as its oxygenated it should work fine. I never used Vanish but I looked up the ingredients and it has everything oxyclean has in it.

Another option would be adding a little fabreeze to your wash. There are detergents that have fabreeze in them already from I believe Tide and Gain. Its cheeper to just buy fabreeze and put a little in. Fabreeze contains enzymes that eat bacteria and eliminate smell.

You could also look in pet stores for natures miracle. Same concept with the enzymes but its heavy duty and has no real scent to it.

I have used all of them in the wash before with no problems.

Tisha

Thank you Tisha for advises, I will try the fabreeze as next

I have just seen that besides “aniodic tenside” are other agents in this product too…

Ingredients: aniodic tensides, non aniodic tensides, bleaching on oxygen basis, hexyl cinnamal, linalool and geraniol.

Has anybody tried the vanish oxy action for washing out pheromones?
