I have either unscented products (Scent of Eros, Edge spray), very lightly Neroli scented (Instant honesty, instant shine, instant openess), and I have Chikara scented as well.
Does anyone have recommendations about what mixes well with the light Neroli scent? I have read on here a lot about Aqua Di Gio. So today I went to sample some of them (while testing some M11).
As a saide, the cute girl who helped me try the colognes was definitley smiling and looking at me and quite helpful = hit. I also tried Armani code which seemed to be the most expensive and a few others.
Any advice for colognes to mix with Neroli scent? Also, any advice for colognes to mix with the Chikara scent?
Any cologne can go with the Neroli scent once it has settled down upon your skin. As the scent fades quickly you will not have a problem with any scent clash.
Its ammo that a lot of people have a problem with as the game scent needs a specific cologne like scent that compliments it to cover.
From my experiences, I can cover any scented/unscented pheromones with:
Gucci Envy: refreshing spicy lavender amber fragrance. So sweet and long lasting though.
Channel Allure Homme Sport: strong but nice woody fragrance.
Joop: far way too strong, especially when first sprayed, but the scent is great when it settle down about 10 min. I thought I am just like a whore when first apply hahahah.
there are a lot of discussions about this topic in the Parfume section of this forum. And I think this post should also belong to there.
I agree, Ammo is tough to cover. I’d seen the recommendation to use Green Irish Tweed by Creed to cover the Game scent and after trying it, it does work but the Game scent still comes through. Makes you smell like someone who used too much fabric softener and tried to cover it with a very high end cologne. The GIT does smell great, though.
Thanks to some of the other people on here, I’ve gotten several scents by Creed with Original Vetiver, Original Santal and Bois Du Portugal being the ones that women seem to like the most. They all cover the Neroli scent very well.
git is awesome, i wouldnt use it to cover game scented ammo… would be a waste of git
i walked in a restaurant with a A314/ ishine +git, walk behind waitress who was talking to people at a table and she just blurts out WHOO some good smelling guys . (was with my brother)
also i need some info on LS stuff, i heard their some products over there that are good which we cant get here?
if anyone has ls info pm me or post here? thanks. @OP. what is your impressions of LS products?
i had some pretty good results with the Edge, buffered with spaceland
Possibly some honestly in there too, it was a while back…anyways, i had this girl I just met telling me about how her and her bf have an open relationship…u know the rest
I like Clinique Happy. It has a fresh, citrusy scent that’s quite similar to neroli. So when I use Clinique Happy to cover up any neroli-scented products from this site, the cologne covers it perfectly, with no “evidence” showing through.
It might be that I have some complex for getting the best - but based on comments here, the best is Creed. I am going to a Neiman Marcus tomorrow to check them out.
It seems like the most talked about Creed product on this forum is the Irish Tweed. Other creed products are mentioned on here this forum too such as those above by Snoopyface.
I suppose just like pheromones, the cologne must match my “objectives”, which for me are to 1) Pickup more girls/get more numbers 2) Increase attraction on dates 3) seduce.
Which Creed product is the best for these objectives?
It just almost seems like a good cologone for my objectives is neccessary. Put another way, if pheramones increases my attractiveness from a 6/10 to a 7.5/10, then a good and distinct cologne such as Creed would put me to an 8/10. Combine the knowledge/attitude of the PUA world + sharp dressed clothes moves me to a 9/10. A little alcohol in the girl and I’m the perfect guy
there are tons of other cheeper ones 70 dollar range that are good as well.
one my favorite is gucci envy , its a attractive cologne, make sure u test creed before you buy they are expensive lol
The important thing is that you like and feel comfortable with your choice in cologne. Everyone is different and what I or others like you may not prefer. I have done a good few reviews of the Creed line, check out the Parfum section of the forum.
I would recommend in getting about six samples from the department store and take your time and get used to the scent of each of them. After a while one or more of them will jump out at you that you like the best.
As a guide there is Green Irish Tweed, Himalaya, Boi Du Portugal, Original Vetiver, Silver Mountain Water and others. As they are very expensive in the range of $200 to $250 dollars do not rush in your purchase, get familiar with the samples.
I’m too cheap to buy the full size bottles right now so I’ve bought some spray sample bottles from Three Kings Fragrances. I’ve got some regular samples as well and the spray ones from Three Kings appear to be legit. I like those better than the ones with the stick. I’ve gotten 2.5 and 3.5 ml bottles and they are a great (cheap) way to try the stuff if you don’t have a Neiman Marcus nearby.
For the record, those small samples last quite a while because you don’t need a dozen sprays to be noticable even with the small sprayers. I can get away with 2 or 3 sprays of Original Vetiver (my personal favorite) so the sample bottles do last a while.
Thanks SnoopyFace. About how many sprays do you think is in those smaller/sampler bottles?
That’s a good suggestion - considering I’ll only be wearing when I’m not at work/on the weekends - probably about 3 days a week. At this frequency, a sampler could last a month or two?
Hehehe, actually, it is Snoopyace as in flying ace but I have gotten a good month out of the 2.5 ml Original Vetiver I bought (the one I used the most- about 3 days a week). Having the spray bottles is also a lot more convenient in that it is like having a to go bottle from Androtics that you can carry with you if you want to add some later.
