I read to the part where she accused you of harassment and you said you only contacted three times. Then you go on repeatedly to say that you want t contact her, again and again, and again. Sounds to me, and I hope I’m wrong, that you are harassing her. The way your posts read you sound like a stalker and if so then yes you deserve to be punished.
What part of stay away from me do you not seem to understand?
Just calling it as I see it and to me, its quite evident you are harassing someone who obviously doesn’t want to see you anymore. There are other fish in the sea. I HIGHLY recommend you completely forget about her. She was using the whole police thing to frighten you. If you contact her again then you deserve to be in jail with the rest of the worlds stalkers. Move on.
Maybe you just need a good dose of reality here and personally if you dislike me for being that voice than so be it. Again from what I am reading here, you are not telling the whole story and seem delusional. True story my sister-in-laws older brother did the same thing in California. We heard a nearly identical story of how he only contacted her three times, just to say happy birthday. The police had a file with photographs and concrete evidence of over 100 times he attempted contact in 30 days. Sentenced to ten years in prison.
If it was my daughter/friend/girlfriend…you could count yourself lucky she just called the police.
Anyone who thinks contacting someone after they accused them of harassment/stalking is not playing with a full-deck of cards. You originally said “her history” well that says a lot right there. I hope my harshness gets through to you. Stop stalking her!
I know where I live your life needs to be in danger/able to prove it before you can get a restraining order. 1) its sturring the bee nest especially if she has anything on you 2) Any action at this point is for your own self closure/satisfaction which may get you in trouble, like Steve said you need to let go and stop trying to get the last word or trying to get attention (especially negative attention)
Steve, I know I don’t have any way to prove anything to you, but all I can do is assure you that what I have said is the truth. I just wrote to her the 1st time when i still thought we were friends, the 2nd time 4 months later for new years, and the 3rd time a few months after that to send her the gift and just tell her whats been up with me. And it was after the FIRST time i wrote to her that she said she was going to contact the police and school. It’s as if you call a friend you haven’t seen in a year and then he says this is harassment and contacts the police. They are the ones who should be detained for acting absolutely irrationally.
Like I said before, I was trying to give her space, an e-mail once every 4 or 5 months really isn’t a big deal (there’s no need to get angry and overreact like she did. Like she seriously can’t just read it and delete it? This is so hard?). She was the one who crossed the line by following me from work and confronting me in public. I feel it is because her life in general is just so sad and depressing she is trying to destroy mine.
I don’t like how society automatically sides with the person who cuts contact, and the other person is labelled as a crazy stalker.
But like I said, I’m not contacting her again and may get an attorney to just figure out what to do about the school and police situation.
