So this may seem silly, but exactly how long does it take for mones to kick in when one I guess “smells” it? And how far is the average range where one is susceptible to inhale mones? What made me think of this was during class today, I girl who sits in the back of the room (and I sit in the very front) shot me a look up when we were leaving class and got the door for me several times, and every time looking back at me. I am NEVER near her. So I began to wonder if this kicked in instantly when we got in range or if they slowly lingered over to her during class. Another similar thing with an other girl who I am fond of in one of my other classes; she looks me up when we walk by in the lobby, but I only caught her looking at me once or twice during this semester… she did try to sit next to me during discussion too, but didn’t work unfortunately . We never said a word to each other, and I am really itching to get to know her, but I don’t get the chance to do it ever (I am banking off of a group project lol but we will see). But once again do they linger over to her while we sit thru lecture, or is it “instant” when we bump into each other when we walk by?
(btw my poison for class is Ammo, IS, IO now and occ. IH). I feel I get better hits from Ammo when I wear it on my wrists/arms, but idk where to put IO…
I’ve had very distinctive hits from 5 to 8 feet away…I think Tisha said it once…it’s about the same range as a fart…which can travel across a room sometimes.
ROFL Well no thats not exactly how I would describe it but its funny as hell. I do recall someone asking about farts though.
5 to 8 feet is about right when you standing in one general location. If your moving about a room your leaving sillage. Sillage is a vapor trail that leads right back to you so sometimes you can effect someone clear across the room.
In a class room which is probably well ventilated you could effect someone sitting on the opposite side of the room from you. I guess a fart is a good example LOL Eventually it wafts everyone in the room.
How long depends on how quickly people process emotion. Some people will process quickly and some take a few minutes to process. People who know you well already have preconceived notions about you so it takes them a little longer then that to respond.
Here is a good analogy, from my experiences, cause I work in an office.
With things like Neroli or FF21/FF22 they work so much better then you’re walking around because people smell the wake of your scent. I always have to do it in passing for them to notice. It’s like one of those quick farts that just come out but can only smell if you’re walking around.
Akuto in itsef is like almost bubble like and stationary, its akin to you having that fart that’s brewing, and comes out very quiet and slow, but when it hits you, you’re like OMG that is TERRIBLE. But in Akuto’s uses, it’s the other way around.
