Its the short form of Androstenone, the main sexual phero.
Similarly:
Nol - Androstenol
Rone - Androsterone.
And a few more variants on the above for more specific pheros.
yeah, using the word “none” as a term for one of the most popular pheromones is confusing, and something I try not to do.
Like in, for example “B516 has androsterone, androstenol and few other molecules, while C712 contains none”
