I give off a bad vibe in job interviews: which pheromones should I use?

First let me explain my situation. I am looking for a part time job, but I suck at interviews, or at least that’s what I thought. It turns out I give off a bad vibe, because I answer the questions the best I can, keep eye contact, smile and all of that. However I went for an interview and my friend was being interviewed before me, and then later he told me the questions he asked him and he said just the basic stuff, like why he wants the job, availability etc… When he told me this I was like WHAT THE FUCK! because When I go for interviews I never get asked questions like that, and this time the guy asked me ridiculous things.

So here is how the interview went

Him: Whats your favorite place to eat.

Me:(I don’t really give a fuck where I eat so I said Subway because the place I was applying was similar) Subway

Him:Why? What makes it so special? Is it the food, the people?

Me:I like how I can see the food being made in front of me.

Him: You do understand that this establishment is not like other fast food restaurants, we are better, when people come to eat here they also expect great experience with the employee. What do you think the three most important things are when it comes to serving customers? (I think to my self why the fuck is he asking me this? This palce is no different than other fast food places!)

Me:(Panicking) Well you have to be freindly, with the customers, always smile, make sure you get the order right, make sure that you have the right change, say have a great day, etc…

then it ended

So then the next day a friend of mine who already works there said the manager said I gave off a bad vibe, and that I was weird. Then it hit me I must give off a bad vibe because all of the other interviews I had in the past went exactly the same.

Oh and after the interview he was telling me about the place and, he didn’t say it to my face, but he implied that he didn’t like the way I looked with my facial hair.

And I was wearing 2 sprays of instant honesty x2, because that is all I have and I wear it to any interview I go to.

I can’t buy a lot of mones right now, because as you can tell, I am looking for a job. I have enough for maybe 1 bottle and was wondering what I should get, to give a good impression during an interview.

I know that mones aren’t everything and that I have to do most of the work, but I am willing to do that work! So I was thinking something like Ammo or instant gentleman, but would something like Instant Shine work?

I will only be able to buy 1 product. What product should I buy? And advice for interviews are welcome.

Kind of off topic but not really. = )
Should I try to start a conversation with the interviewer? For example interrupt them to get a thought in.

Oh and I am in my late teens.

Also any advice on how to act when wearing the mone you suggest.

I am so fucking depressed right now…I desperately need a job before summer…:frowning:

Perhaps you didn’t cover the attitude very well??

Depending on the interviewer’s age, culture, and social views perhaps he didn’t.

DON’T do it!!!:open_mouth:

IH should work well for the interview, perhaps some IG if it is in stock.

RE: facial hair, if you’re a grown man and have a full beard that’s one thing, if you have a little stubble that’s something else. And coming in with it and saying you’d be willing to lose it doesn’t work. My hair used to be halfway down my back and I told every interviewer I spoke to that I’d be willing to cut it if I got hired. I learned later that what they actually hear when I say that is “I really don’t want to cut my hair but if I REALLY REALLY have to I suppose I could begrudgingly do it”. And their attitude toward that is, “If you really wanted the job you’d have done it already”
Use the mones as suggested above but go in looking like the kind of guy you think they’re looking for…think Ritchie Cunningham from Happy Days.

As for the questions, dude I know they’re inane…I suspect that once a person becomes a manager the part of their brain that tells them NOBODY GETS FUCKING EXCITED OVER SERVING FOOD FOR MINIMUM WAGE!!! dies. Just consider the questions you’ve been asked repeatedly for every job interview you’ve had and actually learn from those experiences, anticipate the questions and have some answers ready that you think will reflect enthusiasm and motivation to work.

Oh and a side note, along with the facial hair issue…don’t go telling them you’d prefer to have weekends off but would be willing to work them if you have to. Unless you have school or something on that order you say “open availability” tell him up front that you’ll work any and all hours you can get, that in and of itself get’s you 70% of the way there. You have no idea how many managers get resume’s and applications from people that think they’re entitled to work bankers hours.
