An alpha male is simply the leader, the top dog. His social position is used to keep order and create direction. The details can vary greatly. However being respected doesn’t mean you’re liked, although to be both respected and loved is certainly a plus. You may respect your boss as a leader but not necessarily want to hang with him or date his daughter. Good examples of alpha males are football team captain, gang boss and CEO. Realize, the alpha male role usually is only true within certain social contexts. You may be the alpha among your gang of friends but nothing at the local auto plant…
If you think of sled dogs, the alpha male would be the one at the front of the pack. (“Unless you are the lead dog the scenery never changes”)
The alpha of any pack is the one who all the others look to, the one who gets the most attention.
My parent’s dog is an Alpha male, yet when I am around him wearing A314 he obeys my commands immediately, usually without repeating them

The suggestions above are all good ones, something Rone heavy will put you in the right direction, although I wouldnt rule out using a light bit of none if you can handle it (but only in conjunction with a rone product and only in small amounts).
One other point though and I hate to piss on your parade and all but I’m sure your well aware that wearing pheros wont make you top dog. I’ll relate to you a little story of mine, I wanted to improve my standing with a bunch of guys I know, they were…I guess, casual associates, same department but no real connection other than that.
Anyhoo, one of these guys was totally up his own ass, believing he was lord of all he surveyed…not really a true alpha but was loud enough to have his voice be centre of attention most of the time. So, I decided that a few drops of A314 would show him…well, it did and it didnt. You see it can go in one of several ways:
1- he can back down and you take his mantle of dark lord of the sith (or in the best possible case, you both end up having mutual respect. DOES NOT WORK WITH JERKWADS)
2 - He’ll challenge you and if you back down your screwed as you’ll end up in a worse position than you started in. If you win (congruence is key here) you’ll be elevated to a position of respect that would rival Jesus himself (just a joke!! No offence intended for Christian forum users 
)
So, it all depends on you, your targets and your ability to pull it off. Just be sure to get a good measure of your target audience. In my case, the guy was a loud mouthed idiot, who thought he could command respect by forcing people to listen to him…didnt work, most people have a low opinion of him…but that didnt stop him from becoming agressive (this was when wearing none, btw, not rone), when I didnt back down (too much self-respect to do that…or more likely, too much pride) he shouted, screamed and whined like a girl…before walking off with his tail between his legs. I was in the position where we didnt have mutual respect but I wasnt quite ‘alpha’..that might be due to me not wanting to be it since we didnt really socialise or the fact I hate the idea of dominating people and domination was what these guys were used to. I’m not saying they were his bitches or anything, it was simply a bunch of guys who always seemed on the verge of breaking into a fight.
Moral of the story (well, not really, its a completely separate point altogether), dont give a shit what others think, respect yourself fully, build self-confidence and self belief and you’ll naturally become an alpha without pheros, although a little help wont hurt at all 
And even if you dont, you’ll feel much better you wont care anyway
