yo guys new to the forum, somewhat new to the scents. im 21 and a student at UC. started using instant shine with a free sample of turn up the heat back in august and received questionable results. took me a while to learn what subtle queues to pick up on, however i ran out of the stuff and am craving to try some others. on the forums now trying to discover why ammo has been out of stock for so long! cant wait to try out a new flavor

Have you tried IO and IH, they’re helpful for conversations with new people at college. IShine is great too as you know and ammo is probably my favorite

What was your reasoning for trying pheros to begin with? Tell us a bit more about yourself and maybe we can recommend something for you to test while you are waiting for AMMO to come back.

Some more general about me. I am a neuroscience major, so naturally these chemicals are within my area of study. I came across this site as I was writing a research paper on the topic of mammalian pheromones… Heh, incredibly awesome topic right? My research involved looking into the existence of the human vomeronasal organ to the effects of several putative pheromones on physiology and mood. Going through dozens peer reviewed articles, I learned a lot about the dimorphism displayed between genders and sexual orientations, as well as the effects on hormone levels such as cortisol.
Though there still is much debate whether our vestigial VNO is functional; I have come learn to though my own experience with the chemicals found on this site that the existence/funtionality of the VNO may not be as important as believed by the scientific community. Every brain is composed differently. Each individual will have a unique scent preference for the people they interact with, some being more attune to their sense of smell than others. Infinite variability in pheromone concentration level combinations makes the chemosensory communication system profoundly mysterious, and ripe for further research.
I had my doubts about the viability and reliability of the claims made on this board, however the more I wear the scents the more my mind opens up to the idea that smell is a much larger part of attraction and platonic interaction- albeit subconscious, than I had ever imagined.
My experience with responses to the mones is most definitely mixed, which I had fully expected. For example turn up the heat makes certain girls speechless and horny instantly, while making others intimidated and shy, and many showing no observable response. This may also depend on the unique context of each separate encounter. Ahhh, the reliability of the field test!!! What I have learned from this experimentation is quite remarkable. I feel that I can get a better idea of the personalities of others based on their preference for different mixes.
This newfound social and scientific hobby has proven to be quite entertaining and useful! I would love to test some of the experimental and exotic compounds in the near future, however I have no idea sure where to start. It would help if the experimental compound structures were listed, but I guess thats due to the business side of the deal. Will be sure to continue my research and field testing (college budget permitting, booo!)
