Hey all, I am opening this discussion up in both contexts of keeping them in safe environmental conditions (heat, humidity, etc.) and by means of either keeping them secretive from others, or just organized if you have a LOT of them piling up. I can imagine after a while that some people may have a laboratory looking collection in their bedroom or bathroom with mixing supplies and such…I feel like anyone that would see this for the first time would most definitely have some doubts about trusting you
In your response, could you please put:
Where you’re from(if you feel comfortable giving this information), temperature/humidity extremes in your area
How long you’ve been collecting mones for
What room in your house you keep them in, and with what container/lack of container you use
An estimate of how many items you have (if you can separate them by category please do so)
Who would come into contact with them, and what their perspective is/would be upon seeing the collection
Any interesting stories or bits of information that pertain to the storage/safekeeping/displaying of your mones
I’m in the south of the UK so right now it’s pretty warm although my room is rarely exposed to sun due to the window facing north so it’s usually pretty cool temperatures in the summer, cold in the winter etc.
I keep most of my phero stash in an old guitar bag in the back of one of my cupboards. I usually keep my bottle of A314 and half used gel packs/wipes in a little zipped bag just beside my bed.
I guess i’ve roughly got about 30 or so different products which vary from gel packs/wipes/30ml/5ml sprays etc. I only buy from AD or LS now but i’ve still got some duds i got from ebay when i started this “hobby” xD(not sure whether some of them have gone off or what to do with them, a couple of them sort of work), guess i started collecting last year around september time…
I don’t really care whether close friends or family pick them up now, sometimes i just leave them lying around unless i know people who aren’t that close to me are coming round.
LS put the pricing on the packaging of an order i made once and my parents kept questioning why i had spent so much on “colognes”. After my mum kept persisting to smell some i sat her down and explained what they were and why i was using them. Let her put on some SoE and IH and she just started gabbering away about something completely unrelated xD
I spilt some EoW on my bedroom floor once and the smell lingered for days no matter what i scrubbed it with. My parents thought i’d been sneaking girls in late at night for a while My dad came across some of my old Xcite wipes ages ago and after reading “SEX PHEROMONES!” did the typical british thing and pretended he hadn’t seen them .
But yeah, in a way i think they’re just happy i’m out there trying to get them grandchildren…in a strange sort of way.
Haha, great stories! And, YES…thanks for the input! I would just like get a wide array of input from different perspectives on mones.
I guess I should have started off with my own storage description haha…here it is:
I am living in New York…cold temperatures as of now…and I am about to move to the south…which is why I ask about heat and humidity, as it will be around 100F for long periods of time in the summer.
I’ve been collecting mones for about a week and a half now haha!
I keep my small stash of 3 to-go bottles in my closet hidden under my bathings suits…yeah who’s gunna look there
I have IO, IH, IS To-Gos…but I just ordered IG, A314a, MX297, AMMO, TuTH To-gos
The reason I hide mine is because I live with two (very critical) rommates. They would first probably laugh and criticize me for trying something in their view would be silly and a waste of money, and then once I prove to them their strength would want to use them and probably end up buying them, thus stealing my mone glory
I don’t have any interesting stories yet…but I am sure there will be some…and if so, I will come back and edit this post!
Yeah, you’re always going to get people like that i guess. I was going to suggest you could put them in your fridge for long term storage before i read about your roomates. I think that’d be pushing the limit for me but a lot of phero-veterans do it as it apparently preserves them.
They should be fine though, unless they’re exposed to sunlight/heat for long periods of time. I notice that when i carry to-gos in my pocket they seem to dry up a bit faster so i’d reccomend against that (i wear really tight jeans though)

I keep mine in a couple of strong, sealable plastic boxes in a drawer.
My “working kit” with the selection I’m using most is in a smaller sealable plastic box in the boot of my car with some gel cleanser, wipes & moisturiser & I normally have a cigarette tin with 5 togos in my jacket pocket.
Temprarure is not a significant issue as pheros have a pretty wide tolerance range. Light is maybe a more pertinant issue?
Oh and a bottle of A314 sits on the shelf in my bathroom but nobody has ever passed comment on it.
