If you had to compare the smell of Ammo to one cologne, which cologne would it be? Also on the website it says that the smell was developed by the #1 fragrance designer, I was wondering if anyone knew the name of the person/company that does this?
i just got my ammo then and sprayed some on arm it smells like one of the AXE spray smells tho does have a different kind of end note to it. It does smell pertty good tho
Ammo smells like a modern “fresh citrus” cologne. I find it very similar to Chrome. It’s somewhat like D&G Masculine as well.
yea true now that u mention it fresh citrus i havent really smelt anythin else besides axe sprays so that is prob y i compared it with that
Which axe spray are you thinking of? I can’t recally any which resemble it really.
i dunno cant rememebr the names i had 1 that sorta reminds me of it but it smells like citrus now that it has died down a heap 
I googled.. apparently it’s axe tsunami. I never found that locally (though I found lots more like africa, click, touch,…) that’s why I didn’t recognise it…
yea tsunami i think i jsut rememeber the citrus smell and ive only really kinda smelt it from axe but its not excatly like it. It has a different type of end note to ammo smells good
I’m sure it’s different. the axe smells are good but cheaper in quality 
I’ve gotten comments from people that it smells like Michael Jordan cologne.
Like I mentioned in a similar thread, Ammo smells similar to Chrome. Of course not exactly the same but near enough to confuse the two. Chrome does last longer after drydown.
About how long does Ammo scent last?
Ammo is Nautica Competition Cologne Re-launch(the one in the yellow bottle). It is not similar it is exactly the same scent.
I find it needs refreshing about every 3 hours or so. Otherwise it fades away to nothing.
How do you Know this?

No idea what I’d compare it to but it is DAMN good. Like spectacularly BRILLIANT. Best fragrance I can remember smelling. Dunno who the company is that developed it; but they did a GREAT job.

Ah dunno about being exactly the same. Nothing really is. Even different bottles of the same cologne smell different to me. Maybe they mellow with age or batches differ. Nevertheless, once you add pheromones to any cologne it changes. Androstenone, androstenol and androsterone (I suspect the main pheros in Ammo) have very distinct and strong scents of their own.
I wonder if Nautica Competition is still in production. I’d like to give it nose.
it does fade but the none is still there i did test spray when i got it yesterday then like 5hrs later had shower and was still there even when i woke up next morning i could smell it very faint tho
Obviously the pheros add a unique hue to the scent but the overall smell is almost impossible to distinguish between the two. Also the original Nautica Competition was discontinued ,its the Nautica Competition Re-Launch in the yellow bottle that smells like ammo. It is pretty cheap too. You can buy it at wal mart for a good price.
