For me is work, main reason is that it is safe because I am not expected to act upon even to the stronger reaction and therefore, I can observe the effects, I can witness the hits and actually at times get feedback on what they felt; there are other very important factors also:
It is an almost scent free place and nothing overly strong or distracting is allow, to get around that I used a reversed placebo effect by using perfumers alcohol with neroli scent by itself for a while till everyone got used to it (I buy every neroli scented for this purpose, I only have MX297 in akuto and I tried and got called on it on the grounds of being strong and distracting) being my aftershave. While I was getting people used to it I applied it seconds before crossing the door (for it to be at its strongest) and now I do spray before leaving the house and by the time I get to work the scent is very subtle. With this they maybe feeling the effects but their mind will not related to the neroli scent.
I am a female admirer and always have been able to get close to them, mind you I am not the life of the party (none) guy, I have always been the one that leads on important stuff (rone guy or the thank you for saving my ass guy) and so made it a intermediate goal to find out everything about my testing targets, talking and really listening, really listening gaining a big measure of rapport in the process.
By testing in this closed environment if I notice any reaction or hit I can go back after a while and see if I get a repeated reaction. I have done this to make triple sure I am not imagining things.
In this case demographics are perfect 3:1 ration women to men; only one race is not represented and the age range goes from 20 to over 60.
I get to go to remote locations for my blind testing.
I do not normally go to bars and when I go is to take my wife dancing or the comedy club, I do apply a little something on but then I only pay attention to her when we are together, I have tested on dept stores, grocery stores but none of those venues give me the wealth of info that the micro cosmos at work give me. I believe everything will be find as long as I don’t cross the start something line (that would just be trouble even if it is not sexual) but there has been 2 products that made that prime directive very difficult to follow Jerk and P93. I could go on with this boring but in my eyes important topic but it is almost 2AM. I will take on the second have of the why on a later threat.
I like work myself as well. I am close to a few people I work with but the rest are general acquaintances. Plus I come in contact with a lot of people throughout the day.
Since I know the general behavior of the general acquaintances I can easily pick up changes without worrying about them reacting or not reacting because of preconceived notions.
I can also test on those close to me to see if they react and how long it takes for that reaction to occur. Generally how it effects people that know you well.
Since I deal with various people from all different ethnic groups on my route and in the lobby I can also test on the basic feel of the putative or mix on the general population.
Its pretty much the only place were all three groups converge for me so I cover more ground with just a few application tests.
I agree with you that bars and clubs are not the best place to “test”. They are a great place to use mones though to get the desired effect. However the environment doesn’t give you a clear picture of how people are reacting because generally they are there to meet people already.
I think when testing people should use them in all different environments to get a better feel for what the product is doing for you.
Hi Tisha, appreciate your input a great deal, I still have a lot more on this subject, I just need the time to seat and put my notes and thought into a coherent written form.
I like school for many reasons. There are always people you don’t know or slightly know and therefore you can observe mostly untainted reactions from them while still observing reactions from those you’ve known for a long time. I get two chances to test during the day as I reapply at lunch (which is when most of my instants wear out) and so i change up my mix slightly and add more/different socials. Though sometimes I add none but I try to be careful as sometimes I forget that none sticks around and I end up wearing more than I want to (I’ve had teachers flirt with me).
Same here, I did my sweet spot testing for IS and Ammo Ok and then I started to spray all the stuff together, mostly ghosted and started thinking the stuff did not work, stop for a couple of weeks and when I cameback to the forum started reading from Tisha, Steve, K-Train olfact Amorous and Jasmin and something click in the brain to get me back in the actual testing mode, so far so good. I did not posted my results on the consumer line and I try not to advice anyone on mixes, only recently I started testing putatives and writing reports on those. So far I am loving the single molecules I think there a FUN
First I like testing at work. Mostly because I think a pheromone should give me an edge in the place I spend the majority of my awake time. Also, I’m married. I don’t go out to bars and clubs without my wife. That would get me in trouble.
The second place I like to test is any place with a line. I like Starbucks in the morning. I can always get a feel for how something is going to work by the direct interactions and indirect interactions.
Finally I also like testing in Target and Barnes and Noble. Target just works for some reason. The dynamics are right. Right lighting, and feel of the store. Lot’s of red. And lot’s of beautiful women, at least in my town. I usually end up having to interact with someone in Target. Finally there is Barnes and Noble. Because a bookstore is so similar to a library where there is a culture of conservatism, anything out of the norm is easy to spot. People can get close without being obvious. In Barnes and Noble i can usually tell if a mix draws people in. Some times I get a hovering effect and it becomes obvious when I stop in an aisle to look at somehting for a while.
Bars and clubs are what I pretty much need to use, since most of my work is solitary business. On many days I don’t meet any people at all.
That’s not entirely true during the holiday season, now I need to make deliveries to a whole bunch of places every single day but that will change come january.
Hey JW, we do have basically the same pattern of testing, regarding Barnes and Noble I have noticed that the more conservative the place the better results you get; following the same line of thought We just had a meeting today with a bunch of suits from a software company and I wanted to mess with them so I slap on 2 A314 and 1 jerk, my coworkers are used to the scents and my vibe so they didn’t even noticed but the suit bunch was acting like sheep, after the meeting the CFO and the controller were telling me we show’em, we are the men LOL , It work so well today! I love pheros in confined areas WHA HA HA HA

In regards to testing, you want to establish a baseline - that is, you want an environment where you can observe the efficacy of mones with and without in a controlled manner and preferably over an extended period of time.
Work sounds ideal - yes - since you usually hang out with the same sets of ppl but then again depending on how you take your career, you might not want to test some funny mones that could give out the wrong vibe around ppl who control whether you can put the bread on the table or not.
Testing on strangers is all fine and good but then you could not be 100% sure whether the person is acting that way because of the mones or because it’s just the way they are or the way you are at that particular moment - so there’s a bit of placebo effect there.
PP and CK. I think he was sharing and encouraging open dialogue about locations we like to test in, not necessarily asking for advice.
Ftordces, geez you have a hard username, anyway I like the conservative places like coffee shops and Book stores because the hits are more noticeable. It’s easier to spot things out of the ordinary. I used to got to bookstores back in my Amway days when I was young, because it was easy to find out what people were into and talk to them. I also used the bookstores in my pick up days for the same reason. So bookstores are comfortable for me. It’s easy to find out quickly if some one is attracted to you, and easy to build rapport.
A314 and jerk are a killer combo. Women dig it too.
It’s actually very simple. I’m wearing a variation of it today. 5 drops of A314 and 1 sprayof IJ. People might as well be wearing a sign that says “I’m easily influenced”.
