Hi - yes, interesting study. If I recall correctly, fertile/ovulating women preferred MHC-dissimilar smelling men whereas pregnant women preferred similar MHC signatures. Makes sense, given likely evo bio payoffs. Thing is that girls on pill respond more like pregnant women -> potential scenario of a girl getting together with a guy who’s smell she doesn’t like when she is off the pill.

I have noticed that a lot of the women I have attracted, I am either exactly like good old dad, or 180 degrees away personality wise. Maybe personality is influenced or influences pheromonal output too, and thus smell? Then again, after reading the article, maybe genetic links personality…
