I think a mix of “focus” related forums, as well as private areas, might be best. You could have utter privacy if you’d like, or co-mingle, depending on your tolerance level.

Two weeks of deep cryogenic sleep, huh? I wish I had trips like that! A little mental R&R always helps.

Heck, at minimum, I wish the travel experience itself was like that.

When I’m “not plugged in”, without a cell phone or laptop, I always try to go to sleep on the airplane, but… sometimes it just doesn’t work. I meet great peple sometimes, but occasionally it seems like there’s that guy next to me who chooses to view me as a priest or rabbi fill-in for a little “confessional”. Sometimes I think I’d rather stay “plugged in” and somewhat isolated, than run the risk of talking to the most boring stranger on earth.

i dont think theres gonna b that much “pig” acting on these forums… because we are all pretty much just talkin behind a computer-we dont actually really no each other so it isnt like hangin out with your friends setting (to me at least). THats not saying i dont have a good time on these forums, every1 is great here, but i personally dont think the rude and brash behavior guys are known for sometimes is gonna b shown on these forums

Everyone should be able to feel comfortable talking openly in the men and women’s forums.

Women can feel free to help men here, but please don’t terrorize men here for openly being the pigs you just “know” that they are.

We’re all human, and want similar things, even if we approach them differently. Men tend to be a little extreme and more “tough talking” (especially among their male buddies), that’s all. They still mean well.

Let’s keep this environment upbeat and supportive.

Just a note having grown up with 3 sisters (no brothers) in a predomantly female house… and seen 10’s of sisters girlfriends… Little bothers are largley not seen and are nearly "invisable to older girls…

I have also had 3 female roommates (friends only) and been in the back room “confined to quarters” when severial hen parties (toys and all) where held. it is amazing what you hear when you have a females total trust and they know you keep your mouth shut…

Our sisters are just as nasty and frankly I beleive much more so .. they are just more descrete… However when out of eyesight of men… Even the most prim and proper lady can become a raging slut puppy!

I agree (in the main) with MHarris (not sure about the behaving like pigs bit - I’ve worked in all male offices and all female offices and both sexes have their issues. Too much of either is, simply, too much!)

On the couple of times I’ve posted in the women’s forum here, it has been when I’ve been seeking female advice or replying to a women’s request for male views.

Either way, I express myself in a completely different way - different audience.

The essence might be the same, but the content is differnt because the audience is quite different.

There’s room for both adn I for one am glad taht there is a bit of interaction (the forum just wouldn’t be the same without both sexes), but at the same time we each need our own gender-related area(s) to share with kin

Key to all this is to be non-judgemental. If some women feel to slag off men in thier forum, that’s their business. But if they stray into the men’s forum to do the same and reflect their values - Red Card. That’s just not on.

We have separate forums so that we can be real and not worry about being too harshly judged …

Well well well I don’t get offended easily. My theory if a woman attacks me she is interested to have a bed relation with me. The thing I hate the most is the silent treatment from girls.

I’m actualy not going to post on the forum because this went on in one of the threads and I spoke up about it and got neg reped and called an asshole (not kidding). If we have to edit ourselves some posts (good ones) are not going to happen for fear of attack. I really think angry females should not be in a mens forum, if there was a totally segregated MALE ONLY forum (seperate from the current mens forum) I think some real progress could be made from forum members not wanting to risk attack.

What is wrong with the asshole. It is very important part of human system. It helps the body to get red of unwanted refuse if it stayed in our system it kill us. It helps the body of releasing the gas which is produced of digesting the food we eat if not released we could explode. Beside it has nerve ending which creates pleasure. When I touch my girlfriend ass hole with my magic fingers soaked in rose oil I can hear the aaah and the oooh and let our sexual session go for hours.
Years ago I lost the use of my asshole because part of my Colon has to be blocked to heal. I walked around with bag on my waist and suffered from infection in my stomach. It was the most miserable two month in my life. Do you know that our asshole is very smart. It has glands which produces antibody to kill germs and bacteria which threaten our bodies. After my colon got connected and I gained the use of my asshole I realized how important and valuable it is. It got a bad name from people who are ignorant about science.

I would think the girls here would be a bit more friendly and biologically aware.:pNot that I’m saying anyone isn’t being friendly! I mean if we’re open enough to be here and looking into pheros with the surface rep their use has.

For me its kind of like the computer movement sure some people may huff and puff now but there are so many applications for pheros I feel like their potential is underused right now and will only expand in the future.

As for men being pigs. Girls and guys are wired different.
Men are biologically inclined to play the field for me its one of those “whatever” kind of things.I’m not here to judge.I’m here to learn about pheros and enjoy myself.

I’ll have to be brief, or try to, anyway (severely hurt my right hand the other day) –

I do consider this forum to be men only, except for a friendly female prescence which is welcome. Other than that, women are not welcome. This is the same way in the women’s forum. It’s mostly for women. Men allowed in must be sympathetic to what the women say there, and not create a hostile attitude.

I thought this was clear in the forum rule stickies at the top of each forum? If not, let me know.

While I’m against outright censorship, I’m not against being a referee. Initiating unwarranted hostility toward innocent people is not welcome or allowed on this forum, much as it isn’t allowed in real life among civilized human beings. Defending yourself is okay, of course… if you were actually PERSONALLY attacked.

Also, if you want to be aggressive, we do have a place for that, as well. As I say in my signature, everyone here is fully allowed and encouraged be aggressively nice, wonderful people. They can kiss the male user’s aggressively, for all I care! Maybe tickle 'em aggressively… rahr! As long as the actions (including criticism) are one’s that have a positive outcome in mind, I’m all for it. Be zany and goofy! Go for it!

Now, if there’s an issue with true hostility, let me know.

Here’s the litmus test:

Read what the other person (the one you’re perceiving to be hostile) is saying in a happy, upbeat voice tone. If you didn’t do anything to personally attack them, and what they’re saying STILL sounds hostile even in the upbeat voice tone, then it probably is hostile.

In a case like this, inform me and I’ll be happy to to remind the user that men are people, too, with real feelings… and they mean well, no matter what they say on the surface. (male bravado is mostly social signaling system for other men) Usually that’s all it takes. Being on a forum is like being in a car. You don’t see people for who they really are, and some untoward behavior emerges (this is not a mere observation; it’s been well studied). Sometimes people need a reminder.

If that doesn’t work, I can give them an infraction. Sort of like local jail for a week. If a penalty doesn’t work, they’ll become the first user who was banned for something other than spam. People who are actually dedicated to being cruel hearted are not welcome here.

PS – If you have any other ideas on how we can better offer separation of the forums… but allow “friendlies” to the femdom or maledom causes in… do let me know. Password system, maybe? Or maybe a user level that gives people access to an additional forum which is truly sex segregated for the “touchier” subjects (i.e., no women allowed at all in a special men’s forum, and no men allowed at all in a special women’s forum – period – sort of like rest rooms)?

Please share your thoughts. I want everyone to feel welcome here, and to increase the exchange for information. To me, the best and highest use of this forum is as something which improves the lives of everyone involved. Nobody should ever feel hostility directed against them, unless they actually earn it. Even then, being given the benefit of the doubt goes a long way.

I’ve only just seen this thread. I love Mharris’ posts, I learn so much reading them. I wish he’d post here more often.

I agree that when hostility arises - especially over an internet forum - is based on psychological differences. Things get lost in translation. Animals don’t have the same level of hostility because they don’t have the same sense of self that can therefore be offended.
