Would DHEA boost your natural pheromone output, since it's a testosterone precursor?

Hey guys,

I was wondering what DHEA would do to your natural pheromone output. Since it is a precursor to testosterone, I would think it would help, right?

Theoretically, yes.

Although most people in our society wash a good part of their natural pheromone output off. If this is you, DHEA probably won’t make much difference in your signature.

Two primary metabolites of DHEA are androsterone (A) and etiocholanolone (E), which have been associated with natural body odor production and with sexual preferences (a very long story). I was the first to incorporate androsterone in my product for men. Many others have since captured the idea, but not the concept and have no idea of the scientific evidence that supports use of androsterone.

A DHEA supplement is not likely to contribute nearly as much to your masculine scent signature as is a product containing androsterone.

I would be careful about messing with your endocrine system. But I found 20mg pregnenolone (DHEA precursor) daily had a massive impact on my pheromone production (inferred from womens’ reactions to me). This is what started me researching pheromones more deeply in the first place.

Great advice. If you’re considering a supplement, learn about the down-side. You might just want to get more exersize --and up your Vitamin D levels by hitting the tanning booth (in moderation, of course) --two ways to potentially increase testosterone levels.
