My mom just told me this morning that she doesn’t recognize me…
that was really weird. She said I’m reminding her of her brother (who was a jerk)..
I was reminded of this thread. Then my dad chimed in and said I’m not the super-gentle (too gentle?) guy I used to be…
I thought this was odd as I’m no rough guy…and I’m a good guy..
I put on a spray of ammo and a drop of A314 before leaving home on friday night and I heard my mom coming down the stairs. While walking into my room she asked me what that good smelling cologne I was wearing was. My mom always defends me when my dad stands there with a thinking face and suddenly says “it kinda smells like toilet” 
You might try supplementing your mixes with a little rone around them. It may give more of a gentle but competent and authoritative effect, and tone down the jerk vibe.
I think so too. But yesterday I did well with just ammunition 
- a girl just gave me her number. My mom was 100% surprised even more than myself.

It’s good to hear that, Buddy! But the sad thing occuring in Malaysia is when the children graduated from Universities and become successful doctors, lawyers and engineers, they send their ageing parents to old folk homes bcoz they think that their parents are burden to them…and that’s what I called embarrassing!!:o
Some do that here too but it’s when they get married usually… I don’t agree with it too
I smell a mother and son relationship there. Maybe you turned your mom on, and she goes into defensive mode. Who knows …
It may be just me, but I don’t think its embarrassing. I have had personal experience with this issue. I had a great-grandmother in her 90s, and my grandmother tried to have her live at her house and take care of her. She couldn’t do it because she just needed more experienced care than my grandmother could provide. When my grandmother had to send her to the nursing home, there were always people visiting her. My family visited her at least once a week if not more.
It kind of goes the same for me, I don’t know if I will be able to take care of my parents when they get old. If I get the job I want, I will not be around to watch them all day, and I probably wouldn’t even live in the same state they do. That and they’re farmers, so their bodies are going to be so beat up and worn down when they retire that I don’t think I will be able to provide the adequate care they need. I guess when they have to go to a nursing home, I will have to make sure they get the best one possible. The one my great-grandmother was too hospital-ish in my opinion. And I will be sure to try to visit often if not every day and eat dinner with them or something.
I think if its done right and under the right conditions, then I think a nursing home would probably be the best way to go.
This thing varies from country to country.
Some homes are more dignified than others.
Some people abandon their folks in these homes and never visit them.
Not everyone’s the same, not everyone does this.

I’m going to consider this as a joke, and leave it at that. Normally I would type a long paragraph about how people are unable to detect whether or not an individual is gay simply by looking at them (stereotypes, societal misconceptions, and bullshit propaganda somehow make people believe they have this extrasensory gift that can measure attraction on the surface level) but I think I’ll spare the server another redundant post. By the way, I’m pretty sure that was a joke, but the ignorance out there is mind boggling.
