I do not use IO much as the blather it produces can really bother me. Not that I don’t like conversation, but for the most part I am much more interested in the deeper conversations that IH produces. But every now and then I look at my little lonely bottle of IO and say let’s give you a try again. Just remind me to only use 1 spray next time …

I am out with my wife for the evening. We are sitting down in a small, intimate-type lounge setting. Nice music. Perfect setting for quiet, romantic - kids are elsewhere - time to ourselves kinda thing.

Single female probably a little older than me sits down 1-2 seats away from me. quiet at first. But after a few minutes she makes a comment - to no one in general, just trying to generate conversation with either us or the 3 people on the other side of her. I just look at her, smile and turn around as I am actually able to spend some nice time with my wife for a change.

Then she makes another comment. And another. And the next thing I know she is having a runing dialogue with … herself for the most part. The three people on the other side of her chime in every now and then but for the most part she is talking - loudly - to herself. Just really killing the mood. At first I am ready to ake off a sock and stick it in her mouth but then I am ready to kick myself in the a**. 3 sprays of IO 2X. What the h*** was I thinking? I know better. I shoulda learned my lesson from the last time. Darn.

Finally, when she sees no one is actively engaging her in conversation she leaves. Ahhhhh … quiet again. Just me and my wi… and almost immediately some guy takes her seat.

He is quiet for a few minutes and then … blah blah blah. In response to the music being played he starts in with this “Who do you think the 10 top ‘popular’ pianists are?” with the other three people and us. Dude - what are you thinking? I am out with my wife. I don’t want to discuss this stuff with you. I should have gotten up, gone to the men’s room and tried to wipe the IO off, but I applied it to the back of my head as usual and most of it is in my hair.

Finally I move us into a little niche somewhere and things get better.

I don’t know how anyone doubts this stuff works …

6 sprays of Instant Openness is definitely an OD. I never wear more than 1-2 sprays, precisely because I don’t want people talking their heads off. Even at those low dosages, though, it will raise peoples awareness of you.

I know, I know. Don’t ask me why I feel compelled to use so much - it’s not even like I have trouble starting conversations with people …

The Blather is what I have been seeing as well, using 1-2 sprays of standard IO and the same amount of IH tends to give me good results, using just IH is similar but I don’t get the Idle chatter, that is what is interesting some times. but conversations drift from topic with IO.

I had one that way and could never get a word in edgewise but I wasn’t wearing IO.

it is fun to have someone tell you about their day with out having to ask or pry.
