Had a few already on that list. Will keep going for you though ![]()
It pays to be adventurous!
Honestly though, I have never consume any of these fruits featured in this article.
Being an Asian, I have already eaten 5 out of those 10 fruits, and they taste good. ![]()
Now I want to eat some of them! ![]()
I’ve eaten all except Durian and Mangosteen.
That cinches it, I need to not be such a fuddy duddy and try a few of these fruits! ![]()
Nice blog by the way. ![]()
Thanks,
Glad I took you to the path of culinary adventure.
No honorable mention for the Gojiberry, or the MIGHTY delicious PUMELLO (Ancestor of the grapefruit) ?? Awe.![]()
I love Pumello/Pomelo!! I like it better than grapefruit! It’s sweeter too ![]()
And not a bunch of acid either!
I have not eaten Gojiberries before but, I do occasionally drink Gojiberry juice, That’s stuff ain’t half bad in my opinion. ![]()
So, it’s basically a sweater version of the grapefruit you say? Then it sounds like something that I might like to try! ![]()
Sweeter, slightly less juicy and more textured, plus a huge rind.
And minus the acid of the grapefruit.
It’s actually the ancestor of the grapefruit… the grapefruit was a ‘transplanted’ pumello, taken and grown in non native soil, therefore taking on different properties ![]()
I like the firmness of the Pomelo’s flesh. It is a really fun fruit to eat.
I’m proud to say I’m only missing 3 out of those 10. I’ll have to go to the specialty gourmet markets here and see what I can find! ![]()
Carambola AKA star fruit is awesome with rum!
